Choosing the Manting Garden Hotel for my trip to Qufu this time was definitely a stroke of genius on my part. First off, the hotel truly lives up to its name – it's a beautiful garden with trees, flowers, water features, lotus ponds, and various clever designs everywhere you look; it’s a feast for the eyes. The room was spacious, and the facilities were excellent. I particularly loved the large private balcony; enjoying a meal and tea there all by myself was simply delightful! Secondly, the hotel's service was absolutely superb. The front desk staff were kind, attentive, and incredibly patient when answering questions. They helped carry our luggage during both check-in and check-out without any complaints, truly making us feel at home. Thirdly, the hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 3 to 5-minute walk from the 'Wanren Gongqiang' (Wall of Ten Thousand Ren) where the city gate opening ceremony takes place. The hotel's side entrance features beautiful brick walls and a red gate, where I even hired a photographer to shoot some period costume photos, haha, it was stunning! All in all, I feel this hotel will be my top choice when I bring my family to Qufu in the future. I genuinely and highly recommend it!

Originally, my girlfriend and I were going to Jining for New Year's Day, and to my surprise, the hotel called to inform us of an upgrade! 😃 That was another pleasant surprise. The front desk staff had a great attitude, and the breakfast buffet was very distinctive; I even got to try Jining's Braised Pork in a Casserole. Next time I'm in Jining, I'll definitely book this hotel again.

My stay at the Radisson RED Yanzhou was a delightful surprise! The hotel's design is truly stylish, with a chic red and black aesthetic that's perfect for photos. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the Dyson hairdryer and smart toilet. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the Xinbaihui business district, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast offered a great variety, including the local specialty 'Sa Tang' soup. The value for money here is outstanding. This will definitely be my top choice for future business trips or leisure stays in Yanzhou. I'll be back!

JW Marriott Hotel Qufu truly sets the standard for high-end luxury hotels in Qufu. Firstly, its location is absolutely superb. The hotel is built right within the old city of Qufu, just a stone's throw away from the Confucius Temple, reachable in a mere 3-minute walk. Secondly, its Chinese courtyard mansion design blends seamlessly with the historical surroundings. The entire hotel complex features traditional grey bricks and dark tiles, with courtyards and interconnected rooms, and all buildings are only two stories high. We booked a ground-floor room with a small courtyard, which was quiet, elegant, spacious, and bright. Thirdly, the hotel offers excellent and comprehensive facilities and services. Due to its location within the ancient city, where surrounding amenities are not as abundant, the hotel has enriched its own offerings. It boasts a constant-temperature indoor swimming pool with a dome skylight, a 24-hour gym, a variety of family activities, Chinese and Western restaurants, a bar, and a tea room – everything you could wish for. Particularly commendable is the special evening BBQ service, located in the outdoor garden of the Western restaurant. This provides guests with an additional evening entertainment option, caters to friends looking to chat and enjoy a drink, and even features a live singer, creating an amazing ambiance.

Staying at your hotel in Qufu was a pleasant surprise! The entire hotel, from the lobby to the hallways, was very clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were especially warm and attentive, even helping us with accommodation at Nishan. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted wonderful. If you're looking for a quiet hotel in Qufu, this place is definitely worth a stay.

It's very good and clean. I stayed here for two nights and changed rooms once, a family room and a duplex room. They were both very good. The city is not big, so it's pretty much the same as anywhere in the city. The distance is only a few hundred meters. Rent a scooter and ride slowly. You can get around the city in twenty minutes. The night view in the city is beautiful. The Confucius Temple is in the city. To the west of the Drum Tower, Confucius is on the main road of Beimen. Go straight north and ride a scooter. We'll be there in a moment. For dinner, I suggest you go to Yijiu BBQ on the west side of the hotel. Basically, skewers are $1.50. We went out at about 10 o'clock on the day we checked in. There were only a few tables at his place. We went to eat the next day and it was full of people. It was delicious. It’s expensive, I can’t say it’s not expensive, but it’s cheap, and the meat is fresh. I don’t know if it has anything to do with Yijiucheng BBQ in Jinan. The skewers are delivered to the table after they finish grilling, so you don’t have to order a la carte. This was the first time we met in Jinan last year. This way of operating, we went from Qufu to Jinan again this year, and the price in Jinan was 2.5

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the Confucius Temple. They offer free parking, including EV charging stations. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and there's complimentary freshly ground coffee and juice in the lobby. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a smart speaker, and the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and they provide hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, which all smell quite pleasant.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Confucius Temple, just a few steps away. It was incredibly convenient for watching the gate-opening ceremony in the morning, exploring the Three Confucius Sites during the day, and enjoying the light show in the evening. The breakfast was very plentiful, and we had dinner at the hotel, which was both delicious and reasonably priced. The room had a unique character, and the butler even upgraded our room type, allowing my whole family to stay more comfortably and spaciously, which was very thoughtful. The complimentary small gifts like the fan and ruler were also very practical and special. The cats and rabbits were adorable too. The only slight downside was some issues with the toilet and shower, but the butler resolved them promptly.

It's only 1.3 kilometers from the Three Confucius Sites, just a few minutes by taxi, making it very convenient for sightseeing. 3. **Hotel Environment** The overall decor follows a Confucian cultural theme, providing a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The rooms are quiet and tidy, and the garden-style environment is serene and comfortable, ensuring a high quality of rest. 4. **Facilities** The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and the guest rooms are fully equipped with thoughtful details, maximizing comfort. **Summary** Considering its prime location, excellent facilities, and warm service, this hotel offers great value for money. I highly recommend choosing it for your visit to Qufu.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied! The hotel service was excellent! I booked a family room through Trip.com, which included complimentary shuttle service to and from the station (be sure to confirm with the hotel about driver availability, as they can't pick up after 10 PM). It's crucial, absolutely crucial, to book this in advance! This time, I forgot to book the shuttle from the hotel to the train station, but the front desk staff still went out of their way to ask the driver if he could take us. Although we didn't get to use the drop-off service due to the short notice, the hotel service was incredibly thoughtful! The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the San Kong Scenic Area, which requires advance booking. It's drop-off only, with two departure times: 7:30 AM (for those who want to see the gate-opening ceremony) and 9:00 AM. There's a shopping mall near the hotel, and the hotel even has its own BBQ stall in the downstairs parking lot. The prices are similar to outside BBQ restaurants, and it's run by the hotel's own chef, so the food is quite good. The hotel's gym and pool are also excellent! The gym is spacious with a long row of floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the hotel garden, lawn, and even a small river. The pool is also large and uncrowded, making for a comfortable swim, though the water temperature was a bit cool. Both the men's and women's changing rooms have separate saunas and hot tubs, which are very comfortable and practically deserted – a huge plus! We stayed in room 917, and the toilet's flushing system had a bit of an issue. We checked it ourselves and found that the stopper was a bit loose. I hope the hotel can fix it soon. The hotel's own restaurant, Xiang Gong, serves decent food, but it's not as amazing as some online reviews suggest. It's worth a try, but a bit pricey. The soups are good, but the fried shrimp felt a bit expensive. While they were crispy and flavorful, six large shrimp for 198 yuan felt a bit hard on the wallet. The sea cucumber was fresh but lacked flavor; it seemed to be just boiled rather than braised.
