Our whole family came to Haining to see the tidal bore at Chaole Ancient Town, and staying at the hotel inside the scenic area was super convenient with excellent service! The scenic area is huge, developed by the same company behind Wuzhen, Yao Lake, and Puyuan, so it retains the original ancient architecture and historical sites. You can easily spend 1-2 days eating, staying, and playing all within the area. With summer approaching, here's an ideal itinerary: arrive at the hotel in the afternoon to rest, then stroll through the ancient town in the evening. The next day, after a delicious hotel breakfast, head to the Tidal Bore Park to wait for the spectacular tide (the best time is the eighteenth day of the eighth ***** month). In the afternoon, those with kids can visit the water park or continue exploring the ancient town before leaving in the evening (if you're staying at the hotel, you can enjoy the ancient town until around 4 PM).

Facilities and amenities were great. Just that to use the wifi, needed a local phone number, which as a tourist I don’t have. The front desk lady in the end had to use her own phone number to register. Perhaps the hotel can take this into consideration for abroad tourists. Other than that, the service was excellent, pricing is very competitive and I had enjoyed staying there very much

Location is great near intime mall. Room also spacious and clean. Staffs also great and friendly.

The surrounding environment is good, the location is close to Haichang subway station (about 15 minutes walk), shopping is also convenient, there is a living supermarket diagonally opposite. There are not many types of buffet breakfast and the quality is popular. During the period after check-in, one of them had a power outage for about 2 hours (8 pm to 10 pm). At that time, I looked out of the window. The reason for the power outage was estimated to be a regional range. At that time, the door of the room was opened. The corridors were dark and there was no emergency light. (I don't know if this situation meets the fire equipment regulations), will there be safety hazards? Personally feel that there is no sense of security. I lived on the 9th floor at the time. During the power outage, I didn’t see any hotel staff implementing relevant notices or prompts, because it was in the room at the time, and suddenly there was a power outage (the first time I encountered the hotel power outage), we didn’t know what happened (caused a sudden power outage) , if the mobile phone can't turn on the flashlight, the whole environment is dark (affecting the stay experience), after the power is turned on, there is a hotel staff to come over to send a small gift to apologize, overall, the price is OK!

The room was clean, and the hotel environment lived up to its price and the Kaiyuan brand. However, the breakfast service left me dissatisfied. After we finished eating, I grabbed a yogurt and a pastry for my child, only to be told at the exit that we couldn't take food out of the restaurant. Take out? It was just a carton of yogurt and one pastry! My child couldn't even eat them while walking? This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel where they said yogurt and pastries couldn't be taken out of the restaurant! Hotel prices were already ridiculously inflated during the National Day holiday, and after spending so much on a hotel, who cares about your tiny bit of yogurt and pastry! It felt like we were being treated like cheapskates trying to take advantage of them, being stopped at the exit! Ridiculous! I suggest replacing the breakfast service staff! Don't let them tarnish the Kaiyuan brand!

This hotel is really great. The location is excellent, with a river view from the window. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, and I felt very safe staying there. Located in the Haining Commercial Center, across from Yintai Department Store, this hotel is partly converted from an old office building. The hardware and appliances are excellent, and the shower has a temperature display. However, the so-called smart toilet is a bit basic. The restaurant, shared with another hotel, is on the 19th floor. It's small, with only a few items on offer, so there's no need to buy anything unless it's free. Parking is available in the underground garage, but the main hotel only provides a 24-hour voucher, so you have to pay for any unused items.

The room was booked as a parent-child room, so it was very big, clean and tidy👍, and there was bath water. It's very big, the mattress is comfortable and big, especially my daughter is so happy to jump around I don’t comment much on the breakfast because it is provided. If you have some requirements, I think you should not go there🤭. The milk is too sweet🌚There are no noodles and wontons🤦♂️The blueberry sauce and butter are melted and frozen🙄, look at my last one You can tell from the photo.
