Minshan Xingzhe Muxin Wangqinda Hotel (Dege Yinjing Yuan Branch)
"The location couldn't be better! It's directly opposite the Derge Printing Press, offering incredible views of the sunrise and sunset over the building. From here, you can also witness pilgrims performing prostrations in the morning light and observe people spinning prayer wheels as night falls. The street leading into the main town area is quite a steep incline, flanked by a variety of exquisite Buddhist artifact shops. All the town's dining options and cafes are within easy walking distance. There's even a nearby Nepali restaurant that serves exceptionally good hand-eaten rice dishes. The hotel's breakfast was quite basic, but it came with lovely views. We chose instead to venture out and try some local specialties. Parking is available in an underground garage, though spaces can occasionally be tight. Fortunately, the front desk staff are usually very helpful in finding a solution. Derge is a truly delightful and surprising small town, remarkably peaceful and steeped in devotion."

"great hotel and convenient location "
Yulong Hotel
"We are extremely angry!!! We checked into the Dege Yulong Hotel on February 12th. Since we are two girls and had never been to Ganzi before, we called the hotel in advance (the front desk answered) to ask for a driver to pick us up from the airport. The hotel front desk gave us a phone number, and the driver's brother was the one who picked us up. It cost 150 yuan. There were no problems on the first day, so we added each other on WeChat to make it easier to call a car in the future. The next day, we wanted to go to Ganzi County, so we asked my brother about the price for a one-way and round-trip trip. He said it was 300 yuan one way, and 600 yuan for a same-day round trip or if he waited for us there for a day (this was from a voice message he sent; we have the chat history). Since we didn't know the exact price, and we figured the driver recommended by the hotel should be fine, on the 13th, the driver and my brother took us to Ganzi (I don't know why two people took us). We paid 600 yuan for a same-day round trip. Later, because the hotel was only open until the 15th (because you were on holiday), we checked out on the 15th and went to Ganzi County. The night before, we arranged a pick-up time with my brother, and I even asked him if it was the original price. He said yes, so I didn't think too much about it. He picked me up at noon on the 15th. There were two of us (the driver and his father). When we arrived at our destination, I paid 300 yuan. The driver was very aggressive, asking why I had only paid 300. We were stunned. We tried calling his brother, but he didn't answer. We texted him saying he had told me it would be 600 (which he never did). Because of the high altitude, my friend and I were experiencing altitude sickness. We are women, and we were in another city, near the Chinese New Year. Although we were angry, we still paid the remaining 300 (we have proof of payment). Later, we took a taxi in Ganzi County. The taxi driver said that the fare from the Yulong Hotel to the Wangfu Hotel in Ganzi County would be at most 170 or 180 yuan. Even if the driver picked us up from the Yulong Hotel in Ganzi County and took us to the Wangfu Hotel, that would be the same price; it's a fixed rate. (We spent 600 yuan, and in total, we spent 1200 yuan). We also learned that the driver recommended by the hotel receptionist was her brother-in-law! Are they treating us Han Chinese like dirt? Another thing is that my friend left his earphone case in the car. I texted his brother to ask him to mail it to us, and he said he'd see if anyone could bring it to us the next day. The next day, there was absolutely no sound. I asked my brother, and he said, "No one's here, what should we do?" It feels like they're trying to scam us. They haven't shown any intention of returning it. I'm so angry! I demand a reasonable explanation from the hotel!!! The actions of the hotel's front desk staff and the driver's family seem premeditated, like a setup!! And in such a sacred place!!!"
Dege Executive Hotel
"Everyone can close their eyes and rush! It’s such a surprise to be able to stay in such a hotel in Tibet at this price! Parking is convenient, the hotel is brand new, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities are also new. The location is convenient. There are Sichuan snacks downstairs. The front desk speaks Chinese very well and is very welcoming. Free luggage storage is also provided. The price-performance ratio is very high."
Dege Yunjia Hotel
"The hotel must be given a five-star staff service is particularly warm, take the initiative to help with luggage when arriving, and also intimately inform the surrounding food and travel routes. The room is full of details, with sufficient charging ports, hangers, tea, toiletries, and even drinking water. The environment is quiet and not noisy, the hygiene standards are very high, and the cleaning is meticulous every day. The price is online, whether it is a business trip or a trip, it is very suitable, feel at home, it is worth buying back!"
Zuoqin Nobu Sangbo Hotel
"The hotel was built this year. It's very clean. The room has a mountain view. Unfortunately, the weather was not very good that day. The boss was very nice and gave me ******* tea. The towels are disposable. I like this 👍"
Dege Qin Chuan No.1 Grand Hotel (Manigango)
"Very new hotel, complete facilities, friendly staff, highly recommended"
kale HOTEL
"Degekale Hotel is located at the Dege Tunnel and G317 Rongdao. There is a parking space at the door. The location is excellent and it is convenient to travel. The hotel is fully equipped, the environment is clean and tidy, the view outside the window of the room is beautiful and quite big, our car just stopped, the front desk lady came to our car to help with the luggage, and also helped us call a taxi, too warm heart, praise her. Next time I pass by Dege, I will choose the Cal Hotel and recommend it to my friends and relatives."
Ganglong Panling Hotel, Dege County
"First of all, the landlady was incredibly welcoming. Even though we arrived late, the hotel staff helped us find a parking spot – we were very grateful. The hotel itself was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. However! The bathroom smelled awful! Although the landlady kindly brought some air freshener, who can understand that pungent, unpleasant odor?! Everything else was excellent. Hopefully, the owner can fix it soon, as cleanliness is paramount for travelers."

Banzhiya Chinese Inn
"The room was spotlessly clean and cozy. The bedding was amazing, and the entire environment was incredibly peaceful. The view from the window was a beautiful grassland, and lying in bed watching the clouds drift over the distant mountains was truly therapeutic 🏔️. The freshly made potato pancakes at breakfast were also super delicious 😋."
DEGE BAGONG HOTEL
"Overall, it's a good place. Parking is difficult near the printing house, but you can park at the Dege government parking lot. The Dege government is very helpful; they open their parking lot to the public for free on holidays."
Dege Red Paradise Theme Culture Hotel
"This hotel was lovely. Literally kind and printing house for the great view and they provide gowns with all amenities very good location and spacious fridge which has floor hunting and also heating in the shower shower is great and hot water was plentiful. The only problem was the breakfast. The staff at breakfast are not attentive and there was very little food available. The breakfast staff should be more helpful."
Mingxiu Hotel
"The room was alright, not bad, and it even came with breakfast."
Dege Cangyang Gyatso Love Song Hotel (Manigango)
"The welcome was exceptional despite the language barrier. This was important for us foreigners. In just a few minutes, they also organized our trip for the next day. The view from the room was magnificent, and the room was clean and tastefully decorated. A few oddities: no terry towels, but some kind of paper towel; luckily, there were two good bathrobes available. The automatic light was a bit annoying when moving around at night, as it woke the other person. These are minor details, though; it's a shame the upstairs neighbor was noisy all night."
Ya'an Hotel (Manigange Town)
"It's great in every way, and it's about a 10-minute drive from the Yulongla Tso scenic area."
Suolang Ethnic Homestay
"The inn is next to Xieqing Temple, and the public area is on the second floor. It has a camping style, which is not bad! Most of the people staying here are Tibetans, and the waiters generally have difficulty communicating in Chinese! However, the noise from the guest rooms on the first and third floors and the second floor lasts until late at night, making it difficult to sleep well! The water heater was hot and cold and I couldn't take a shower. The house was close to the river and the bedding was damp! No breakfast."
Jixiang 21 Homestay
"The hotel is clean and tidy, close to a large underground parking lot, and convenient for restaurants and shopping."
Dapeng Hotel (Chamasha Street)
"The hygiene is very poor. The washstand is very dirty, with the last guest's bloody nose, very dirty, and garbage on the floor. Because it was almost 10 o'clock in the evening when we checked in, we didn't ask the hotel to change the room. There was no mineral water. We booked a deluxe room, but there was no chair. The dog barked for a long time in the middle of the night, and the sound insulation was poor."
Dege Shandi Hotel
"The room was clean and tidy, with a ******* style. The service was good, there was free parking, and the breakfast was simple, but the fried dough sticks and butter tea were good."
Youxingzhe Homestay
"The town actually had an oxygen concentrator; it saved my life at an altitude of 3800 meters."
Dege Nuoyong Homestay
"The boss is very enthusiastic. He will take care of our check-in time in advance. He will also help us with our luggage and help us adjust the parking space. The environment is clean and sanitary. The location is good and quiet. Recommended. Recommended."
