The surrounding area is beautifully autumnal, offering good views of the sunrise and stargazing. It is hoped that the hotel will provide sufficient food for breakfast when there are large groups of monks dining (we encountered approximately 50 monks), to prevent guests staying at the hotel from going hungry, even for eggs."

The interior is modernly decorated and fully equipped with oxygen generation, humidification, underfloor heating, and air conditioning. I've never seen such a well-equipped hotel at high altitude."

The service was excellent; the staff were friendly and took us to visit the Thangka painting academy and Buddha statue workshop. The food was exceptionally delicious and good value for money, a rare find on the 317 highway. As a new hotel with a Thangka and Buddha statue theme, it's definitely worth experiencing."
