"The air conditioning in the room took ages to warm up. The electric heater in the bathroom, however, was a real lifesaver, especially since it had just snowed when we visited. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, but it was so cold that we didn't even dare to try the hot springs. Out of all the hotels I've stayed at, this is the only one that charged an extra fee for a room upgrade."

The hotel is designed by Dr. Cha Xiang from JSA Jishun Architectural Design Office in Singapore, and the interior design is led by Huang Quan, the chief designer of WJID Weiji Design. The designer combines the interior and exterior organically using natural materials and simple lines, with a unique style, luxury and fashion.
"I recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand Hot Spring Resort in Liyang, and I had high expectations given its excellent rating on Ctrip.
Upon arriving at the hotel parking lot, a butler promptly met us with a shuttle to take us to check-in. The service was fantastic and very thoughtful, with every staff member greeting us with a smile.
Since the hotel is relatively new, the facilities are great, and I was impressed to find Guerlain toiletries provided.
While the hotel features an alpaca farm and Dinosaur Valley, which are perfect for younger children, the kids' club was a bit small and underwhelming, which was a slight letdown.
My favorite part was definitely the infinity pool and hot springs located on the cliff top. They offer a fantastic ambiance during 'blue hour' and the views are stunning. It was incredibly comfortable, even on a summer evening, as it wasn't too hot.
The breakfast was also excellent. I'd definitely consider a second stay here, especially if checking in on a Friday when it's less crowded for an even better experience. [Proud R]"

However, the package is very good value for money, and overall I would recommend it."

"The room was spacious, and there was even a splash pool for the kids to enjoy. It was also very convenient to go out for breakfast or activities, as the shuttle bus was available on-call. They even provided a bed rail, toilet seat, and bathtub for the little ones. We played in the Hape toy room, and our butler, Allie, provided excellent service, always checking on our needs."

"For the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, we chose Hantian Yangxin Valley. To sum up our stay, the overall environment was tranquil and elegant, and the private villas offered excellent privacy. The views of the mountains, forests, and lake within the resort were outstanding. The wellness programs, like standing meditation and tea ceremonies, were quite unique and definitely worth experiencing for those seeking peace and relaxation. The butler service was very responsive, and the room was spotless. I particularly loved the sandalwood incense provided in the room, which smelled wonderful. The meals included with the stay were also impressive, with fresh ingredients and a delightfully light flavor. There are many walking paths within the resort, making it a pleasant and comfortable place to stroll around when the weather is good."

"The room in Building 8 is not bad. Stayed for three nights.
I would like to comment on the breakfast in particular. There are a wide variety of dishes and they are rotated every day. The taste is also good. I tried the black rice, which is soft, glutinous and sweet. The large intestine noodles are delicious. The cold dishes are different every day and are refreshing and tasty. The breakfast is very cost-effective. Many five-star hotels cannot reach this category. I hope the quality will continue to be maintained. Huang Fang in the restaurant is very warm and considerate, making me feel at home. I stayed for another night. Thank you Huang Fang.
Zhao Zhuhua at the front desk answered all questions and provided enthusiastic service.
Although Liyang is a niche city, it is clean and quiet and suitable for citywalk. Liyang Hotel is convenient for travel. The surrounding Gaojing Park is small and beautiful, and Yanshan Park is large and beautiful with flowers blooming in the garden. Yanhu Park is very suitable for walking.
Jinling Liyang Hotel is the first choice when you come to Liyang again."

This resort has hosted major events for corporations such as Siemens and the Ambrosetti Forum and has been designated the permanent venue for the China-European Economic Forum.
"The lake view from the room is great, and while the facilities are a bit old, they are very clean. There are plenty of activities for all ages and seasons, making a three-day, two-night stay perfect. The hotel staff are all warm and polite and interact well with children. The hot springs are a highlight, with over thirty open, so it never feels crowded, and there are many staff members attending to them.
However, the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant was a huge disappointment. A la carte options are expensive, and the set menus are limited, too salty, and the bamboo shoots were tough and unappetizing. It's definitely not suitable for two adults and one child; the only decent thing on the set menu was a fried fish roll. Furthermore, the service was abysmal. No one greeted us upon entering, and after our meal, no one asked for feedback, offered a small snack, or called a shuttle. There was absolutely no service to speak of, a stark contrast to the Hong Kong-style restaurants we've experienced. My rating is for the hotel; if it were just for Fisherman's Wharf, I'd give it only one star for the ambiance."

"The 3-day, 2-night package from Ctrip was a great deal, including dinner at the executive lounge. A big thank you to Mixian for the complimentary room upgrade and the WeChat butler service; the snacks they sent were delicious too. The hotel is very close to Liyang Museum, and this was my second visit after three years! I've been to Liyang many times, but this was my first stay at a Marriott, and overall I was quite satisfied. Most of the staff were proactively friendly and smiled. Just one suggestion: the lighting in the dry sauna of the women's changing room at the pool was too dim, not even as bright as candlelight. It was so dark I didn't dare use it. I've already mentioned this to Mixian, and I hope it will be improved if I have the chance to stay again."
