Hotel Sigiriya
"The moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with a refreshing juice and walked us to a viewpoint — the sight of Sigiriya Rock was absolutely mesmerizing. The room is incredibly cozy with beautiful, interesting wooden decor that gives such a warm local feel. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit and great coffee. A perfect stay for exploring the ancient rock fortress!"
Eden Grand
"It's a little far from the city center, about 100 meters from the main road. I was using Google Maps to get there, but I took a wrong turn and had to ask a local for directions. Looking again, there's a hotel sign on a utility pole at the corner, so please refer to that. In terms of facilities, it's equipped with a kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, and air conditioner, and the TV has good picture quality. Coffee, tea, and two bottles of water are also provided, making it well worth the price. (It's probably a new building, so there are few gaps, and hardly any flies or ants got in.) As for the food, breakfast is a mix of Sri Lankan and English style, with good taste and quantity. Combined with the facilities, it offers better value than other hotels in the same price range, so I recommend it. The owner's family was also very kind. ka"
Jetwing Lake
"Jetwing Yala is a remarkable hotel that seamlessly blends luxury with the breathtaking natural beauty of its surroundings. Nestled in close proximity to Yala National Park in Sri Lanka, the hotel offers an unparalleled wildlife experience, allowing guests to witness majestic creatures like leopards and elephants in their natural habitat. With its modern amenities, impeccable service, and eco-friendly practices, Jetwing Yala stands as a testament to a truly unforgettable and sustainable hospitality experience."
Heritance Kandalama
"The scenery was lovely. Rooms were clean. However the whole hotel was quite dated and not worth the price paid. Service was average at best with them being generally being slow at meal times and long waits for food (had ala carte for dinner ) The breakfast buffet had a good spread but there were flies around the fruit station - very off putting"
The Paradise Dambulla
"I stayed at Paradise Dambulla for one full week, and honestly, I can say this property’s biggest strength is its people. I have travelled quite a bit, but the warmth, kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care shown by the staff here is something very special. It never felt artificial or forced. Every single day, the team made the experience comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. Special thanks to Nikesha, Waruna, and Feros from the Front Office Department, Tharusha from Housekeeping, and the amazing F&B team including Damith, Lahiru, Thanuja and Dhanushka. Each of them created such a positive impression during my stay. A very special mention must go to Ranga, the F&B Manager. He is truly an asset to the hotel. Had a lovely small talk. An all rounder, highly professional, always attentive, and at the same time a genuinely kind gentleman who seems to support every department whenever needed. You can clearly see the teamwork among the staff, and I believe that is one of the main success stories behind this hotel. The rooms were excellent, the atmosphere peaceful, and the location itself is beautiful and relaxing. During the entire week, I genuinely could not point out a single bad experience. Paradise Dambulla should be proud of its people because they are the real highlight of this property and the reason guests will return again and again. Most definitely visiting again soon. Highly recommended!"
Hotel Sigiriyaaya - Jetwing Select
"The hotel environment is very good, clean and sanitary, and the staff are very enthusiastic. The dinner is delicious. The hotel is a bit remote and the road to the hotel is not easy to walk, but overall it is good."
Pelwehera Village Resort
"Had a pleasant family vacation here. The service was good and the staff were very courteous and friendly. The Restaurant staff especially were very keen on providing the best possible service to all guests. Special mention must be made of Senerath and all the other Restaurant staff who served us. The food was great and there was a good variety of dishes for each meal. All in all we had a memorable time and this hotel can be recommended to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday in a scenic location."
Sigiriya Forest Edge By Marino Leisure
"I have to say, this hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Sri Lanka. It's only been open for 3 years, so everything is new. The hotel is in the form of a tree house, which is very unique, but there is no need to worry about safety issues. There are CCTVs everywhere in the hotel, and the hotel will ensure your safety. The hotel is very private, with only ten rooms in total, so it doesn't feel crowded or noisy at all, which is very suitable for vacation. The swimming pool is also very clean and the night view is beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to any friend who is going to Sri Lanka. Although it is not the most expensive hotel in my trip, it is the best and most impressive hotel. It’s really a treasure hotel~ I hope its business will get better and better^btw The breakfast is a set menu, which is delicious and rich~"
Sigiriya Village
"The hotel was super nice, with big spacious room and a small terrace outside. We really enjoyed our stay there"

Jetwing Vil Uyana, A Luxury Reserve
"Lucky enough to secure a villa with a private pool. If you’re after unwinding, relaxing and exceptionally hospitality this is the place to go. The villa was like glamping on steroids with the largest bed I think I have slept in a hotel. The shower gave the feel of being in the outdoors and the breakfast / dinner were unbelievable. I’d highly recommend booking the elephant safari from the hotel. The safari host from the hotel made the 4 hrs a very enjoyable experience - not to mention packed lunch! Our butler Prasanna topped of our stay and couldn’t do enough for us. 11 out of 10 stars"
Amba Yaalu - Thema Collection "The First Women-LED Hotel in Sri Lanka"
"A quiet hotel with a mango orchard. The food is varied, from tasty to very spicy, so be careful. Don't bother with the spa; they don't know how to give massages at all. Monkeys were running around on the roof at night, making some noise. We didn't see any elephants. Otherwise, everything was great."
Liyya Water Villas
"First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"
Amaya Lake Dambulla
"It was such a wonderful hotel that I would like to stay there again. The grounds were spacious, with cottages surrounded by greenery, and there were monkeys and birds. It's along the lake, so the scenery is beautiful. The bathtub valve was broken so the hot water ran out quickly, the food took a long time to arrive, and there was not much variety in breakfast, but they prepared lunch boxes for us early in the morning when we asked, which was very helpful, and the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very kind. There was also a group of Japanese guests there."
Freedom Village
"Everything was perfect; the hotel was very relaxing and away from the noise of the city. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring! I highly recommend it for a getaway to Dambulla."
Pahana Village Sigiriya
"Beautiful, relaxing, cozi, in the middle of the nature, clean and very friendly owners, modern bungalow, but also traditional furniture, great fresch made breakfast, delicious rice and mango honey heart, 💞 loved it . thanks for your help with my gluten and dairy issues! Certainly a place to raccomand!🫶🫶"
Sigiriya Melrose Villas
"The room is spacious, the environment in the yard is very good, and the service is warm and thoughtful. I am very satisfied!"
Fresco Water Villa by Oak Ray
"Us the property need a large amount of maintenance Firstly the internet would not connect and after about 2 hours it seemed to work from there on in Secondly the air conditioner would not blow cold air and the remote seemed to be broken thank goodness there was a fan Thirdly the toilet would not fill and maintained advised the float was broken but if you pushed it it would work so most of the time the cistern top was off so we could make sure the toilet would flush The grounds were great and the pool good but the complex needs to have some maintenance done"
Hotel Eden Garden
"We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The view from all rooms were absolutely breathtaking and made our stay feel very special. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the room is spotless, fresh and very comfortable and all the common areas were kept in amazing condition. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was delicious, with great variety of fresh, flavourful dishes catered to different tastes. What made the experience even more memorable was the friendliness of the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, professional and always ready to help with a smile. Their outstanding hospitality made our stay very enjoyable and is valued. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, scenic and memorable getaway."
Amaara Forest Hotel Sigiriya
"The path from the cottages to the front desk and restaurant is dirt, so it is difficult to walk. I think they need to improve it a bit."
Camellia Resort and Spa -Sigiriya
"Excellent staff and food. Point to note - the hotel is literally in the jungle. It’s remote. You’ll feel bugs and insects, so walk with a repellent, but I think it is a wonderful experience."
Kalundewa Retreat
"Whereas the hotel grounds and rooms need a little loving care, the staff were out of this world -- so thoughtful and accommodating and wanting to please. The food was very good; enjoyed the cook's attention to our requests. Nice hotel at mid-range, good location and friendly ambiance."
Amron Resort Sigiriya
"During our road trip, I had the pleasure of staying at the Amron Resort Sigiriya. The owner and her family were welcoming, the room was cozy, and the location was convenient for visiting Sigiriya & Pidurangala. It was a perfect stop along my journey. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
Hôtel Niyagala Lodge Sigiriya
"The owner was very nice and friendly; he immediately brought us medicine when my friend said he wasn't feeling well."
Green Senz - Tourist Board Approved Hotel & Hostel - Sigiriya
"GreenSenz was our home for our 3 days during our stay in Dambulla. Our Team of friends from Dubai wanted to experience the beauty, nature and the village life in Sri Lanka for during our holiday. We absolutely have no regrets of choosing GreenSenz. The staff were hospitable and the facilities and the ambience were homely. We highly recommend GreenSenz and definitely GreenSenz will be in our next itinerary as well."
Arika Villa
"Luxury hotel in a very peaceful setting. Very friendly considerate staff who made us feel really special. Beautifully furnished and comfortable room, lovely pool and poolside restaurant serving great food. Well worth a stay and I hope we go back some day!"
