Staff was friendly and quick to assist whenever we approached them for help or queries. The breakfast buffet spread includes both continental choices and Chinese dishes to cater to different tastes.
Overall, great value for money considering its central location and coupled with the friendly service rendered to us by the attentive staff, it was a very positive 5- night stay at Park Plaza Wangfujing Beijing indeed."

"First time and definitely impressed.. better than many well known 5 star hotels in the city centre.. service, cleanliness, comfort, breakfast everything was fantastic. Highly recommend anyone looking to have a transit to stay here.. super convenient too.. go to the first level and 2nd lane outside of door 5 and look out for a white shuttle bus which shows cordis and Hilton on it. 5 min ride and you will be there at the hotel."

The most bizarre thing, though, is that you have to pick up your own food deliveries; staff can't do it for you, and there are no robots either. "Perfect hotel for an overnight layover in Daxing. Check-in was quick and easy, and no deposit was required. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location is extremely convenient thanks to the hotel’s airport transfer service. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. Special thanks to Nancy and Alen.
There are several restaurants and a grocery store on the hotel’s B1 floor, as well as a coffee machine and a drinks vending machine in the lobby. Breakfast was tasty, with a good variety of options from porridge and steamed buns to noodles and fried chicken.
The room was perfectly quiet, and the air conditioning worked great. I had a peaceful night’s sleep and easily got back to the airport in the morning. The hotel is very comfortable and absolutely worth the price."

"Staying at the Regent Beijing was definitely a highlight of my trip. The hotel's location on Jinbao Street is unbeatable, just a short walk to the Forbidden City, and very close to Dengshikou Station on Metro Line 5. It's incredibly convenient for exploring historical sites or shopping at Wangfujing – truly a perfect location!
The views from the high-floor rooms were absolutely stunning. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Forbidden City's red walls and golden roofs like a natural painting. The imperial charm of the city at dawn and dusk was simply captivating. The room decor beautifully blends traditional Chinese elegance with modern comfort, featuring warm wooden furniture and a marble bathroom. Every detail exuded quality, and the complimentary first-round minibar and laundry service were thoughtful touches.
The service truly made us feel welcome. The experience consultant, who we communicated with in advance, not only reserved a restaurant table but also arranged welcome desserts and champagne in our room. When we called late at night to request an extra bed, it arrived within minutes. Even toiletries we accidentally left behind were safely kept for us. This level of attentiveness far exceeded our expectations.
The dining experience was equally impressive. The steaks at the Italian steakhouse on the second floor were perfectly seared and juicy. The 'East of the Forbidden City' themed afternoon tea transformed elements like dragon patterns and blue-and-white porcelain into exquisite pastries. Enjoying them with the sunlight streaming through the windows was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
The hotel perfectly combines the heritage of a long-standing luxury brand with thoughtful service. It's undoubtedly a top choice for accommodation in Beijing."

"I rarely write reviews, even for business trips, but I really have to give this hotel a proper review. The location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by its luxurious and grand atmosphere. A wooden automatic door opens to a huge fish tank filled with large koi. The lobby is spacious and bright, elegantly decorated, and full of artistic flair, with master-level calligraphy and paintings hanging everywhere. The room's layout is cozy and comfortable; though small, it has everything you need. The international brand King Koil mattress is very comfortable, and the Panasonic PM2.5 fresh air system keeps the room air fresh. It's a loft style with a patented retractable staircase. Every detail is meticulously handled, making you feel incredibly at ease. The hotel's facilities are also comprehensive, with a gym and swimming pool, allowing me to enjoy leisure time even while traveling. Oh, and I heard the infinity pool looks especially beautiful in summer. The front desk service is excellent. The butler service is warm, attentive, and professional, always solving my problems promptly. In short, this is an impeccable hotel that every traveler should choose!"

EElzyataThe location was good. Taxi stops completely not so far away from the hotel. The walk was Ok even with 4 luggages. Breakfast was good (seafood, chicken, pork with veggies, dumplings, croissants, mooncakes, coffee, tea, yogurt). Though, like almost everywhere in China, the taste of fried pork was in all dishes (I guess the oil that is used in cooking is the thing). The territory is nice, the rooms are pretty as well. But be aware that it’s very cold in winter. It was even impossible to take a shower. On the second day the staff increased the temperature till 30*. It was still very very cold, we slept dressed in sweaters😅. It’s worth mentioning that we always returned late and fatigue so we forgot to complain upon the room temperature. So, maybe it could be solved. I guess it should be warmer if you stay in the main building. In the summer the stay must be way better.

It's just a few minutes' walk to both the subway and high-speed train, making it perfect for getting around central Beijing. The service was excellent, and the room was very clean. I stayed for 4 consecutive days, and the housekeeper cleaned it daily, which was great. On my birthday, they even sent a card, fruit, and yogurt – very thoughtful!

The front desk lady and the manager were incredibly kind; they upgraded me to a huge, spotless room. I was extremely satisfied, and they even thoughtfully provided a space heater. I'll definitely book the China Southern Pearl Hotel again for my next trip!

There is food shops and banks within walking distance. I was happy to find a print shop on the corner across from the hotel to make copies. That made the negative experience at the hotel a little petter as I paid ¥20 to get a copy of my passport bio
Page and my fiancée ID card in black and white. The pictures were not in visible. Do yourself a favor just walk across the street to the print shop. It was on ¥5 to get the two copies front and back and in color. . I was disappointed in their lack of knowledge of the area when looking for a bank close by as well. Parking was a little confusing when we first got out in the underground parking location. There are two entrances and the signs are small, we almost got lost because of this but were able to backtrack out steps.

AAnonymous UserI booked this hotel as it's very well located between the two airports and very well deserved by the tube in a very nice neighbourhood where you can truly see the everyday life of lovely Chinese people. Following the initial booking for a very nice room, there was an issue and tye management were so professional that they upgraded me for free to the executive suits which was absolutely stunning and beautiful and outstanding views of the whole city at the top floor. The room was spacious, and bathrooms were breathtaking. The management were very nice to me every time and even though they didn't speak English they were always trying to help. The hotel is located around many shops, restaurants and two Hugh malls located around changyiang metro which is direct to forbidden city and tianmen Square. I must admit that I stayed in the last few days but I ended up staying over 5 days because all the rooms are very large, with beautiful views and the breakfast is also very good. The overall impression is that Chinese management is always trying to help you. So, like me, if you are from Europe, do not book a Western brand and be courageous to book a Chinese hotel and experience their kindness and good hearth. I will give top grading to this hotel and will recommend it highly to all my European tourists.

GGuest UserSo, I stayed at the Dongsi Hotel, and the location near Wangfujing is seriously perfect for hitting the sights in Beijing. I’m giving it a strong 4 out of 5 stars, and honestly, that score is all thanks to the amazing people working there, because the room itself was a totally different story.
Seriously, the staff were rockstars. They were warm, super helpful, and quick with everything I needed. They gave great local tips, helped out with my luggage, and just made me feel welcome every time I walked by. They are definitely the best thing about this place, and they worked hard to make up for the room's issues.
The room, though? Big letdown. It felt genuinely old and tired, and maintenance is clearly overdue. The biggest problem was this gross, musty smell that just hung around all day, no matter how much I tried to air the place out. It made relaxing tough. Worse, there was a section of the wall that had obvious water stains and visible dampness—it looked like it was starting to leak, which is a major worry. Everything felt old, from the furniture to the general wear, and it’s clear these rooms need a total overhaul.
Basically, the Dongsi Hotel is a mixed bag. The location is killer and the staff deserve all the praise. If you just need a place to crash and really value great service over having a pristine room, you’ll probably be fine. Just be ready for the older look, the chronic damp smell, and maybe checking the walls for spots. Fix those infrastructure issues, and this place would easily be five stars.
