"Overall, we had a great stay at the Warwick Allerton and would definitely stay here again. For the price, the location and quality of the room were hard to beat. The location is excellent, right on the Magnificent Mile and about a 10-minute walk from both the Grand and Chicago Red Line stations. It made a great base for exploring the city, and it was easy to come back to the hotel whenever we wanted to rest during the day. We arrived around 11 AM, well before the 4 PM check-in time, hoping to store our luggage. There is a luggage storage area near the entrance for $2 per piece. Unfortunately, this was probably the most frustrating part of our stay. We waited about five minutes for an attendant, who then directed us upstairs to see if we could check in early. Early check-in was available for around $30 if a room was ready, but since we already had plans, we decided to just store our bags. We were sent back downstairs, where the attendant was gone again, and we waited about 15 minutes along with several other guests before someone returned. Given how many guests arrive before check-in, I wish the luggage storage process were a little more efficient. When we returned around 4:30 PM, however, check-in was quick and seamless. The employees were friendly and efficient, and retrieving our luggage was surprisingly fast as well. Our room was on the 22nd floor and was lovely—clean, bright and comfortable, with a great view of the surrounding city blocks. We booked a king room, and it was a genuinely large king-size bed, which was definitely worth the upgrade. The bedding was especially soft and luxurious. The pillows were decent, although a couple were slightly lumpy, and the bed frame was a little squeaky. There was plenty of lighting and conveniently placed power outlets throughout the room. The bathroom was small but stylish and made good use of the space. The shower had decent water pressure, and the water could get VERY hot, which I appreciated. There were a few minor downsides. Our room was directly across from the elevators, so we could sometimes hear them arriving and people getting on and off. There are five main elevators serving a large hotel, and we occasionally had to wait a few minutes for one, especially during busier times. Street noise could also be surprisingly noticeable from the 22nd floor when particularly loud motorcycles or cars went by. The AC worked well enough and kept the room comfortable, but it seemed to bottom out around 68°F. I personally like my hotel rooms absolutely freezing, so I supplemented it with a portable fan. Housekeeping was great throughout our stay. They made the bed, replaced towels daily and were always friendly. Despite those relatively minor complaints, this was a very comfortable and cozy stay. We actually ended up spending quite a bit of time relaxing in the room because it was such a pleasant place to come back to after exploring Chicago. Between the comfortable room, friendly staff, fantastic location and very reasonable price, I thought the Warwick Allerton offered excellent value. I would happily stay here again."

"This hotel is absolutely perfect! The cleanliness is excellent, and they even provide a kettle for boiling water. The surroundings are beautiful. My only gripe is the incredibly high parking fee. The cost of parking, plus taxes and tips, nearly equals the price of the room itself."

"The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. Check-in and check-out were quick. The accessibility to major tourist attractions is really good. Don't expect too much from the breakfast, but the coffee was delicious! Water isn't provided as standard, so buy some when you check in. There's a supermarket right nearby."

Plus, there's a large shopping mall and plenty of restaurants just across the street. Cleanliness: The hotel maintains good hygiene standards. Facilities: Unlike hotels in China, you'll need to provide your own slippers, toiletries, and drinking water in the room."

"Amazing hostel. Literally the best hostel I’ve ever visited (I tried 5). The location is amazing. Theres no deposit. They provide 2 rltowels, 2 sheets, warm blanket. Im 162 tall and there was enough space for me. There’re shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Room for 10 girls was spacious! The kitchen has fridge and freezer. Also, there’s a water fountain for a clean water. They also have wending machines. They also can receive a package for you for an additional charge. Another cool thing is that they can keep docs and money safe in the lobby. No breakfasts. Hostel offers so many activities. I felt really comfy to travel as girl. There’re some homeless dudes sleeping not far from the hotel, but they don’t bother others. I walked once at 8 pm and I wouldn’t recommend to repeat such experience. District is good, like it’s literally the city center, but it comes dark, there’re very weird dudes on the street."

"The environment is top-notch, with a rich sense of history, making for an excellent stay. Most importantly, it feels incredibly safe, which really put my mind at ease. Dining options nearby are super convenient; a food street is right outside, making life incredibly easy. Definitely great value for money!"

"The hotel accommodated our party of 11 people super well and divided the rooms up nicely! Parking was open even at night. The lobby is a great place to chat or work. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned. We enjoyed our stay! I would book again."

"The hotel, as other reviews mentioned, is quite new and comes fully equipped with a kitchen, dishwasher, pots, pans, and dishes, though it lacks a kettle. Both the room and bathroom are spacious. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the Magnificent Mile. It's also very clean. My only dissatisfaction was that they don't use duvet covers, and the two sheets provided weren't very large. So, if you're planning on two people sharing one bed, the covers can easily get messy. My child ended up getting cold and even developed a low-grade fever. Therefore, if you're going to the US and aren't used to this bedding style, you might consider bringing your own duvet cover. I brought a 220*240 one and it was great throughout the trip. But I only brought one; next time, if there are more people, I'd consider bringing two."

"Right by the subway, so getting around and finding places to eat and shop was super convenient. The service was quite attentive. Breakfast was a bit plain, but generally okay. No issues with cleanliness – it was spotless and cleaned daily."

The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The free Wi-Fi is stable, and there's a well-equipped indoor pool and gym. The front desk staff are warm and efficient, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It offers fantastic value for money. Overall, it's quiet and safe with thoughtful service, making it perfect for exploring, dining, and sightseeing. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Chicago!"
