"The hotel is almost 30 years old, and it's clear that the interior and furniture are a bit dated, but this only adds to its charm. Pros: 1. Location: The complimentary shuttle will take you to the nearest metro station, from where you can go anywhere in the city. You'll have to wait a long time for a taxi. You can use the taxi drivers waiting at the hotel, but their rate is x2. 2. We stayed on the 57th floor, but guests have the option to go up to the very top for free, where the 360-degree platform offers breathtaking views of the city. 3. There are numerous shopping malls and local markets near the hotel for shopping enthusiasts. Cons: If you plan to dine outside the hotel, you'll need to go into the city, as there's only Indian street food nearby. Overall, I rate my stay at the hotel as positive."

"The hotel's design has a French flair. The lobby is very clean, grand, and stylish. The service is also meticulous and thoughtful, and the check-in process was smooth. The hotel rooms are very clean and refreshing, and the mattress is very comfortable, making for a peaceful sleep. The breakfast spread is also very rich. The surrounding area offers very convenient access to public transportation via the subway. It's only two or three BTS stops to Paragon and CentralWorld, which is very convenient. Plus, the airport link is right in front of the hotel, also very convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit."

"Overall, I had a good stay at Maison Hotel Bangkok. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also convenient, and everything generally went smoothly during my stay. However, I personally don’t feel that the overall experience quite matches a 5-star hotel standard. The room, facilities and overall atmosphere felt quite basic and more comparable to a good 4-star hotel. There wasn’t really that extra level of luxury, attention to detail or premium experience that I would normally expect from a 5-star property. That said, it was still a pleasant and comfortable stay overall, and I would consider staying again if the price is reasonable."

The hotel has a fitness center, although there is no swimming pool. Breakfast was decent but fairly basic, with a limited selection. The buffet included an American breakfast, congee, noodle soup, a few Thai dishes, bread, pastries, and bakery items. Parking was plentiful and convenient. The only area that needs improvement is the service. Compared with other branches, the staff’s hospitality and service mind were noticeably below expectations. With better customer service, the overall experience would be much more impressive."

"Pros: Spacious, clean rooms with great bedding setup. 1.The rooms are noticeably spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with housekeeping provided daily upon request. 2.The bed is large and comfortable. 3.A sofa is available in the room, making it feel more like a serviced apartment than a standard hotel room. 4.A fridge is included, which is a practical touch. Location is excellent 1.The hotel's location is one of its strongest points — conveniently situated in the Silom area with easy access to dining, shopping, and public transport. Staff performance 1.Staff at reception are generally okay and do their job adequately. Cons Deposit policy — outdated and inconvenient. The hotel requires a 2,000 baht cash deposit at check-in, which is a significant drawback in today's travel landscape. Not all tourists carry that much cash, as most travelers now use digital payments or credit cards. Moreover, money exchange rates in the area come with unfavorable charges, making this requirement unnecessarily costly. This policy should be revised. Overly strict check-in time The 2:00 PM check-in restriction is far too rigid — even 5-star hotels are not this strict. This creates an uncomfortable situation for tourists who arrive even slightly earlier than 2:00 PM and are left waiting. Service and hospitality shortcomings Welcome drinks are not proactively offered by reception — you have to ask for them yourself. Reception staff lack initiative and could improve their hospitality communication style. They come across as too robotic and transactional rather than warm and welcoming. I even witnessed reception staff shouting at another guest during check-in over the 2,000 baht deposit issue — a very uncomfortable scene to witness and an unacceptable way to speak to paying customers. Room condition and maintenance issues Walls are too thin — noise from neighboring rooms is clearly audible. Shower water pressure is very weak. The shower handle is broken. Electrical sockets are hard to find and placed at very inconvenient spots. The room door is extremely hard to open, appearing old and broken. Building infrastructure Only one small elevator is available, resulting in long waits to get to or from your room. The building as a whole looks dated and in need of renovation. Overall The i Residence Silom Hotel offers genuinely spacious, clean rooms in an excellent location at what is presumably a reasonable price point. However, the outdated cash deposit policy, overly rigid check-in time, poor hospitality training among front desk staff, and numerous maintenance issues (thin walls, broken shower, weak water pressure, inconvenient outlets, faulty door, single slow elevator) significantly detract from the experience. The building itself feels old and tired. With better staff training and a serious round of renovations, this hotel could live up to the potential its location and room size suggest — but as it stands, the cons may outweigh the pros for many travelers."

"This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the heart of Bangkok's busiest and most central area, with the lobby directly connected to the ASOK BTS skywalk, so you don't have to worry about bad weather. The subway station entrance is just a 20-second walk away, which is incredibly convenient. Downstairs, there are massage parlors and local Thai restaurants, and Terminal 21 shopping mall is directly opposite. Whether you're shopping or just browsing, it's exceptionally convenient – you'll never have to worry about finding things to do, eat, or enjoy! The hotel's facilities are extremely well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The room layout is also elegantly designed and very pleasant, with a Japanese flair. All necessary amenities are provided, from toiletries to slippers and bathrobes, all meticulously prepared and fully meeting the standards of a local four-star hotel. The bathroom features a dry-wet separation design, so the entire space doesn't get soaked when you shower, which is a great user experience. The cleanliness of this place is truly impeccable, extremely clean! The bed is also particularly comfortable, and the hot and cold water supply in the bathroom is plentiful, so you don't have to worry about unstable water temperature while showering. The air conditioning system can be independently controlled, allowing you to set it to any temperature you desire, making your stay exceptionally satisfying. Both check-in and check-out procedures were remarkably fast and efficient, beyond a doubt. Furthermore, the hotel staff are exceptionally polite, genuinely warm, and enthusiastic in assisting guests, making you feel highly valued and greatly enhancing the overall stay experience. I spent 3 nights here."

"Tucked in a one way only street so traveling was inconvenient - but it also meant that the roads were less busy and the noise from cars weren’t loud. Because soundproofing was rather poor, I was assigned a room in the top floor that could connect to the adjacent room. Partially because the guests were loud, partially because the soundproofing was just that bad. When I was in the corridor, I could make out the conversations of the other guests. I was also awoken at 6AM on my third day because it started raining really heavily. But noise cancelling headphones and some music did the trick. Room also had a certain scent — it might be due to the bad ventilation so I had the balcony slightly ajar when out and about. Also had some marks by the walls. But sheets and pillows were all clean. I can attest to this as I have both sensitive and nose. Overall the cleanliness was decent. Location wise, many 7-11s up and down the road as well as nearby hotels and hostels. A great cafe that opens at 9AM was about a 3 minute walk and I basically went there everyday for coffee/matcha. Also had local food open till late in the area. Amenities wise, they provide 2 pairs of toothbrush and toothpaste per day. 2 bottles of water. I think cotton buds and a shower cap. Didn’t provide hotel slippers so there’s that. I think the staff said to help yourself to the ice cream in the freezer by the door but it was late at night when I checked in."

"Excellent location, superb service, and fantastic Halal breakfast! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam! Location: The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Platinum Fashion Mall, CentralWorld, and many other shopping options, as well as top attractions, are right on your doorstep. There are countless places to go out and enjoy delicious food – everything is conveniently within walking distance. Room & Cleanliness: The rooms were very clean and honestly exceeded our expectations. We felt incredibly comfortable from the very first minute. Breakfast (Our Highlight): The main reason for our booking was the breakfast area – and we were not disappointed in the slightest! As a Muslim, I want to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to The Berkeley Hotel for the fantastic and diverse Halal selection. You don't find this kind of offering in many other hotels.
