"the room was really clean & aircon was good (able to adjust and actually works when u adjust - not central aircon), housekeeping was done everyday (as long as u place the housekeeping sign on the door) and was up to standards! room was super cosy and even had windows where u could look at the outside! provided many hangers as well (at least 5) and many types of towels! first floor also had many amenities (toothbrush, toothpick, extra towels, shaver etc.) which u could take for free and there was also a vending machine where u could buy drinks / ice cream. there is also a weighing machine for ur luggage if u need! staff were all really friendly and helpful, can help to store luggage before / after check-in and they were all really patient with every request / inquiries i had"

"I've stayed at Hotel Granvia Osaka many times, but this was my first time in a Luxury Double Room. At 35 square meters, the room is indeed spacious for Japan, offering a very open feel and beautiful views from the window. However, to be honest, the room's facilities are quite disappointing. The furniture looks very old with obvious wear and tear, and the air conditioning is a bit loud, especially at night when it's quiet, making the noise unbearable. There was also a bad smell in the bathroom. It looks like there used to be a wall-mounted phone in the bathroom, but after it broke, they just covered it with a board. The wallpaper on the ceiling is peeling, and the wallpaper in the corners is damaged. In short, the hotel's housekeeping manager should seriously inspect the room's facilities to ensure that the 'Luxury Room' truly lives up to its name."

"Hearton Hotel is your typical Japanese chain hotel and the one at Shinsabashi Nagahori has excellent connection to the Metro. It is also within walking distance to Shinsaibashi via the crysta underground shopping street. The Aeon supermarket beside the hotel is a lifesaver! However if you would like more variety, there is also a Life Supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The single room is spacious by Japanese standard and I could open my luggage fully (after moving the table and chair)."

"The hotel's location is truly excellent. Coming out of the north exit of Namba Station on the Nankai Line, you'll find a large plaza. Head right and you'll see two pathways. Take the one on the right, and when you reach a fork, turn right again to find the Don Quijote Sennichimae store. If you go straight left out of the pathway, cross the street, and then turn right, you'll reach the hotel. It's incredibly close to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market, and other popular spots, making shopping and dining exceptionally convenient. Even many day tour meeting points are nearby. The hotel rooms aren't large, but they are very new and come with a full set of toiletries, so you don't need to bring anything. The price is also affordable, and I didn't even have to pay the accommodation tax! Highly recommended!"

"My four-day stay at the Velina Select Hotel (Osaka Nakanoshima East) during my trip to Osaka was absolutely fantastic. The hygiene was impeccable, with thorough cleaning done daily. The room facilities were in great condition, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The hotel environment was quiet and elegant, and its location was superb, making it easy to get to various shopping districts. The staff provided attentive service, and communication was smooth. Even though I was traveling alone, the double room offered more than enough space. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka."

"I booked the largest triple room, but it was still a bit cramped and hard to open our luggage. Plus, the bathroom and toilet doors are sliding doors that face the head of the bed. If you get up at night, opening them makes a lot of noise, which could wake someone up. Also, the cleaning staff only emptied the trash cans. The extra trash I left next to the overflowing bin wasn't taken for two days. However, the location is absolutely unbeatable. It's centrally located for both Hankyu and Lucua, and easily accessible whether you use the underground passages or the skywalks. The only minor drawback is that the shops in this area don't open until 11 AM and start closing around 8 PM."

I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately. When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later. If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email. 호텔을 사용하며 불편함은 없었습니다만 2일 동안 호텔을 사용하며 귀중품(목걸이)를 분실했습니다. 호텔 측과 원활한 소통이 되지 않아 글을 남깁니다. 20일 저녁에 책상에 목걸이를 올려두었고 착용하지 않고 21일에 관광지를 돌아다녔습니다. 일행이 목걸이를 챙겼다고 생각하여 체크아웃 이후 챙기지 않은 사실을 알게되어 바로 호텔에 연락했습니다. 호텔 측에서는 확인해본다고 하고 확인해본 결과 없다는 답변 뿐 찾게 되면 따로 연락 준다는 이야기는 받지 못했습니다. 만약 호텔측에서 분실물을 습득하면 제 이메일로 연락주시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다."

"Before my trip, I was a bit nervous checking into this hotel after reading some negative reviews, but to my surprise, it turned out to be unexpectedly good. First, regarding service, many negative reviews mentioned poor service, but during my check-in, subsequent interactions with the front desk, and final check-out, the staff who assisted me were always polite and smiling. Especially the young women with bangs, their voices were very sweet and they were incredibly patient and helpful. Next, the room layout. For Japan, I actually think the room size isn't small at all. What really blew me away was the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom – that was incredibly convenient! As for cleanliness, it was decent enough; as long as you're not scrutinizing with a magnifying glass, everything else was perfectly acceptable. The hotel amenities were comprehensive. They provided a hairdryer and a flat iron, and in the lobby, there were many free samples of skincare and hair care products available. The in-room amenities were also very complete. The only downside was that the laundry room was always busy, making it difficult to find an available machine. Six machines are definitely not enough. Soundproofing was indeed just average. At night, I could hear some motorcycle gangs speeding by, but I was never woken up once I fell asleep. Footsteps in the hallway were quite loud, but there's a sliding door that separates the bathroom from the hallway, which helps a little with sound insulation. Overall, I'd rate the soundproofing as just average. For transportation, you need to be a bit careful when checking the map. Choosing the wrong exit can lead to a long detour, sometimes even an extra ten minutes. If you pick the right, close exit, it's only a three to four-minute walk. You can even pass a convenience store and grab some essentials on your way back to the hotel (I recommend exit 15, which has an elevator and a convenience store nearby, just a 3-minute walk). Right next to the lobby downstairs is a coffee shop, and I really enjoyed their food – it was very convenient. Overall rating: Absolutely fantastic. After all, it's not a five-star hotel, and my personal expectations for hotels are neither too high nor too low. I stayed during the off-season, and for just over 300 yuan a night, getting a hotel like this was a real surprise. Mainly because the places I'd stayed in Kanto before were all terrible and much more expensive. This review truly comes from the heart; if I were just giving a fake review, I'd never find a good hotel. I honestly believe this hotel deserves my positive review!"

"I booked a premium economy twin room, which at 29 sqm was the largest room I had on this Kansai trip. It was the hotel I stayed at on my last day, and it was such a pleasant surprise! When I booked it, I thought it would be quite old, but it's incredibly well-maintained. The window overlooks the runway, but with double-layered, super thick soundproof glass, it's completely silent! You can't hear any planes taking off or landing! The toiletries provided are all Pola! The hotel is right next to Kansai Airport Terminal 1, accessible via a connected walkway, making early and late flights hassle-free. Mr. Nishikawa (if I remember correctly), the elegant front desk staff, even pronounced my name correctly using pinyin (so touching!) and gave me two sets of skincare samples. After dropping off my luggage, I headed straight to Rinku Town Premium Outlets, one stop before the airport, which is directly accessible via the Namba line. The shopping there is fantastic; I highly recommend dedicating at least an entire afternoon to serious retail therapy."
