Cheap Hotels in Osaka

"I've stayed at this hotel for three years in a row, previously booking through an 'A' app. This time, I booked via Ctrip. The location isn't in a bustling commercial district. After arriving at the airport, head to the second floor for the subway station and take the Nankai Rapid Express (don't take the fancy 'Haruka' train; if you accidentally sit in a reserved seat without a ticket, you'll be fined!) to Tengachaya. From Tengachaya, transfer to the Sakaisuji Line to Kitahama. Exit from Exit 3, and the hotel is right across the street. Facilities: The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. I recommend getting a twin room; it's a bit larger and more comfortable, don't skimp out! 😉 Housekeeping: It's clean. For room cleaning or towel changes, you need to decide, then stick a card on the door. To get to Umeda, exit the hotel, turn left 👈🏻 and walk straight for about 10 minutes (I walk slowly) to Yodoyabashi Station, which is one stop away. To get to Shinsaibashi, exit the hotel, turn right 👉🏻, cross the road, and turn left 👈🏻. It's very convenient to catch a train from Kitahama. There are many restaurants nearby. Torikizoku (yakitori/grilled skewers), and Shichirin Yakiniku (Wagyu BBQ) – if you have a group, go for the all-you-can-eat, if not, order à la carte. You can always add more later. The meat is rich and can get a bit greasy. There are convenience stores all along the street, which is handy. If all else fails, exit the hotel, turn right, cross the street, and turn right again 👉🏻. There's a shopping mall with a large supermarket downstairs. They have everything, but they don't accept WeChat Pay or Alipay. Remember to bring cash or cards. It's best to bring your own reusable bags when shopping in Japan; it's not about the money, but everything just gets thrown away in the end, haha! 😃 The hotel has a washing machine on the second floor for 400 JPY, and a dryer for 100 JPY. Ice is free and self-serve. There's a free coffee machine on the first floor, and complimentary toiletries, tea, and daily necessities are plentiful by the elevators."

"Location is perfect. Breakfast was perfect. Lounge would be better with more food varieties but they had a lot of drinks options including sake, champagne, wine and beer on top of the usuals which was great. One thing i didnt like is that their rooms are super tiny. We got a triple room and it was so tight. Next maybe two doubles is required for more space. Another disappointment is that they don't provide lotion which i think is a basic amenity. And that every certain hours of the night 10-ish -2am (everyday) you can hear super noisy motorcycles revving in the main street randomly. (I guess that's not directly their fault buy maybe they could opt for a more soundproof window or something.)"

"Dear Hotel Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately. When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later. If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email. 호텔을 사용하며 불편함은 없었습니다만 2일 동안 호텔을 사용하며 귀중품(목걸이)를 분실했습니다. 호텔 측과 원활한 소통이 되지 않아 글을 남깁니다. 20일 저녁에 책상에 목걸이를 올려두었고 착용하지 않고 21일에 관광지를 돌아다녔습니다. 일행이 목걸이를 챙겼다고 생각하여 체크아웃 이후 챙기지 않은 사실을 알게되어 바로 호텔에 연락했습니다. 호텔 측에서는 확인해본다고 하고 확인해본 결과 없다는 답변 뿐 찾게 되면 따로 연락 준다는 이야기는 받지 못했습니다. 만약 호텔측에서 분실물을 습득하면 제 이메일로 연락주시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다."

"The location is very convenient, close to the station and only a short walk to Dotonbori. However, the soundproofing is not the best, as I could easily hear people talking from outside the room. There is also no official luggage storage service, but they do provide a room where guests can leave their luggage at their own risk. Although the official check-in time is 3 PM, they kindly allowed early check-in when the room was available, which was a really nice touch."

"Fantastic location! Just cross the traffic light and you are right in the heart of Shinsaibashi. Whoever loves Lululemon it is just right opposite the hotel. The room come with washing machine which is great for families. The only thing not good is that the hotel lighting is insufficient. It’s a little bit dim. Definitely will stay again because of its location."

"This stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was so soft I slept incredibly well. The bathroom was clean and sparkling. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and the staff were friendly and patient, responding promptly to any requests. The soundproofing was great; it was very quiet at night, allowing for a fantastic rest. For the price, the value for money is outstanding. "My stay at Hotel Nikko Osaka was excellent. The hotel is directly connected to Shinsaibashi subway station via an underground passage, making transportation incredibly convenient. Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori shopping districts are just a short walk away, which made shopping and sightseeing hassle-free. The room was spotlessly clean, and the mattress was soft and comfortable, allowing me to fully relax after a day of exploring. All room amenities were complete, and the bathroom toiletries were well-stocked. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, and check-in was very efficient. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including both Japanese and Western options, and the ingredients were fresh. The hotel's overall ambiance is elegant, and its location is superb. It's an excellent choice for both leisure travel and short business trips. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Osaka."

"The room was spotless and well-organized, featuring a desk and a sofa. The two beds could be pushed together to create more space. My only minor complaint was the limited number of power outlets, which made charging multiple devices at once a bit tricky for a tourist. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of Chinese, Western, and Japanese options. The grilled wagyu beef and steamed abalone with mushrooms were particularly outstanding. I appreciated that the lobby offered complimentary DHC mini facial cleansing sets, which was a thoughtful touch for guests. All the staff members were friendly and polite. For location, simply find the JR Central Exit, then follow the signs to Daimaru department store. Once you've done it once, it's very easy to find. The lower floors of the building house a shopping mall and a food court with a wide array of cuisines, which is popular even with locals. I didn't hear any subway noise at all; the room was very quiet. The hotel's proximity to the JR station made it incredibly convenient for day trips to places like Himeji Castle and Nara."

"This was my second stay here. The first time, I had a room for two people and it was tiny. This time, I booked a triple room and they upgraded us, which made it much more spacious. The location is super convenient; it's about a 5-6 minute walk from Nihonbashi subway station. Getting to the airport is easy too, as the airport shuttle stop is just a five-minute walk away. Dotonbori is right across the street, and Shinsaibashi is within walking distance. There are also plenty of drugstores nearby for shopping, and a 7-Eleven just a short walk down the street, which is always packed and bustling. The only downside is that the hotel's washing machines are always in use. I tried to use one countless times on my first day, carrying my dirty laundry back and forth, but it was still busy even past 1 AM. I finally managed to use one at 3:30 PM the next day."

"The location is nice, just about 10-15 mins walk to the famous dotonbori. It’s price is affordable. Just bear in mind that for consecutive nights stay, they only clean the room every 3 nights, which may be an issue to some. But overall, the stay was good and food is great!"
