Guest UserThe environment is excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay. The window offers a great view, the room is spacious, and the ceiling height is good. I looked forward to coming back to the hotel every day. I visited Universal Studios for two consecutive days. The hotel is right by the JR station, offering a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area.

The room was compact but very comfortable, and impeccably clean. Its location is fantastic, being close to both the subway station and a bustling shopping street. The rooftop features a communal bathing area and an open-air hot spring. It was a thoughtful touch to be able to choose from over a dozen types of shampoos and conditioners, which made the bathing experience incredibly relaxing.

Kate DzThat was my second stay at the Candeo chain but this one I loved more for location and better reception guys and girls who make you feel a special guest or even a friend, not just doing their job. I really appreciate that.
Wanna say huge thanks to everyone who work there, I cannot skip to mention an English speaking guy (I don’t wanna post his name for his privacy), his friendliness, kindness and sense of humor made me smile every time.
And for sure I’m gonna back to this hotel only, don’t even wanna look for another one for my next trip to Osaka.
Thank you, guys, you’re the best! You all are sunshine!
P.S. The hotel located literally in the middle of everything you need. Don’t even think, just book it and you’ll be satisfied at maximum, I swear.

WuyoudidiWe took the Kintetsu train from Nagoya, then transferred to the subway. It's super convenient, just a 100-meter walk from the exit. Getting to the airport was also easy, taking the subway to the Nankai Line. The room was spacious and had a hot spring bath. Both breakfast and the late-night snack were delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!

Guest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Hanshin Osaka during my trip to Osaka, and overall it was a very satisfying experience, especially for a first-time solo traveler visiting the city.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is definitely its excellent location. The hotel is conveniently connected to transportation, making it extremely easy to travel to many of Osaka’s famous attractions and shopping areas. Whether I wanted to visit Dotonbori, Umeda, Osaka Castle, or even take day trips to nearby cities, getting around was smooth and stress-free. For someone traveling alone and unfamiliar with Osaka, staying here made the entire trip feel much more comfortable and convenient.
Another thing that impressed me was the service provided by the hotel staff. The front desk employees were always polite, professional, and welcoming. They greeted guests with genuine smiles and were very helpful whenever I had questions. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, they still tried their best to assist me, which made me feel appreciated as a guest. Good hospitality can really affect the overall travel experience, and this hotel certainly delivered in that aspect.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained. Although the room size was slightly small, which is quite common in Japan, the facilities inside were surprisingly complete and thoughtfully arranged. Everything I needed was provided, and the layout was efficient enough that I still felt comfortable during my stay. The in-room hot spring bath was also a very enjoyable feature. After spending long hours walking around Osaka every day, being able to relax in the warm bath at night was incredibly refreshing and helped me recover from fatigue.
If I had to mention one downside, it would only be the limited room space. However, considering the location, service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, I still think this hotel offers great value overall.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka for the first time, especially solo travelers who want a convenient, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.

MingmingshitianshiThe room was good. Although small, it was enough for a family of three. I booked a twin room, but it didn't have a bathtub. The hotel switched me to a room with a tub. The bed was smaller, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. After soaking in the hot spring every day, there were free ice cream sticks to enjoy to your heart's content, and Yakult in the morning. For this alone, it deserves a full 5 stars. The only downside was that the hotel had too many tour groups, all Koreans, and their etiquette was quite poor. In the hot spring area, I saw an elderly Korean woman scrubbing dirt off herself in the pool, and some people spitting... My goodness! 🤦♀️

Lady BenzLocation of this hotel is insane, the service is good, the hotel lobby can connect to Lawson without going out to the street. But! I think Namba is a little bit chaos, normally I always stayed at Yodoyabashi, Shin Osaka and Umeda district, I think these three districts are quieter, I stayed here and hear 🚨 every night which effect my sleep quality. Anyway, the onsen is very relax and natural, and there are plenty of ice creams for free, night time ramen for free, and two massage bed for free (lots of people queues here, so be hurry!). And the room has some brown watermark on the wall so not much clean, but don’t expect much because it’s budget hotel, with all these free amenity I appreciate it so much and I couldn’t complain much. Thanks

Guest UserLoved our stay at City Plaza Osaka! We used Osaka as a base for our trip, going on multiple short day-trips followed by a longer stay in Tokyo, with one final night in Osaka before heading home. First room was clean and cozy, second room was HUGE and perfect for repacking our checked bag. Both rooms were comfortable and clean with excellent water pressure in the shower. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby, so didn’t try the hotel breakfast, but highly recommend Osaka Engine (has gluten free ramen options!) for a delicious meal! The FamilyMart downstairs was very convenient, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the onsen was the cherry on top. The hotel location was great, easy walking distance to various metro stations and sights like Osaka Castle. 10/10 would stay again!

The place is really awesome. Super convenient as its right in the heart of do to ori and only 3 mins from the station. Very easy to move around and there's a few 7 eleven, family mart, mcdonald's nearby. GU and uniqlo is also nearby for shopping. Rooms are very spacious and decently clean. Tried the insen twice as well and it's quite the experience.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby.
The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, ”Your public bath is way too good to be the one of a hotel, it should be a private public bath.” The quality is superb, and the amenities are fully equipped with everything you have in your own bathroom: hair spray, shampoo, hair conditioner, sponge, razor, nail clipper, nourishing cream, toothbrush, toothpaste and woww a lot. You put heart in every detail. It was my first experience with a Japanese public bath, and it was the best.
The staff are super friendly but still uphold guests’ privacy. Having a lot of guests, it was surprisingly enough to sleep.
Just one quick recommendation: The hostel requires a daily check-in even when you book consecutive days. For us, it was no problem sorting out and communicating with staffs. But some foreign guests seemed a bit confused by the process. If they could clarify that for non-Japanese speakers better, the place would be beyond perfect! Thanks for the excellent experience!
