Hot Springs Hotels in Osaka

Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Great location down to Universal Studios, only about 15 minutes walk. Quiet because of the distance. The staff were incredibly helpful, I checked some luggage for storage before check in and when I returned found they'd already taken it to my room for me and even hung up the jacket I left. There was a great deal of care taken. Even my booking request for a quiet room away from the lifts was noted and actioned and the rooms had every little thing you might need or have forgotten available. My only complaint is that I couldn't include more nights there in my trip. It was perfect.

This trip was specifically for Universal Studios, and I had already picked out this hotel on a previous visit. It's right next to the main entrance of Universal Studios, which is great because after a long day of playing, you don't want to walk far or take the subway. It offers good value for money; the price isn't high, and the room size is ample for three of us. The breakfast is more Japanese-style, but across from the hotel entrance, in CITY WALK, there's a udon restaurant. Their fried sweet potato 🍠 is delicious – I make sure to visit it every time I come!

★★★★★ 5/5 Had a wonderful stay at CANDEO HOTELS Osaka Shinsaibashi and would happily return again. The location is honestly one of the biggest highlights — incredibly convenient. The hotel is directly connected to the lively Shinsaibashi area, with shopping and food everywhere around you. Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is right nearby and leads all the way towards Dotonbori, making it perfect for exploring on foot. Daimaru and many well-known shopping malls are also within easy walking distance. One thing that made this hotel feel unique was the atmosphere around the rooftop Sky Spa. The rooftop bath area feels peaceful and calming despite being in the middle of the city, especially at night after a full day of shopping and walking. Such a beautiful way to unwind. The hotel itself was very clean, modern and surprisingly spacious for Osaka standards. We never felt cramped and had enough room to settle in comfortably. Another fun surprise — MiPig Cafe is only a short walk away across the area (around a few minutes), which we really enjoyed visiting. We also tried the in-room massage service after a long shopping day and it was amazing. Pricing felt reasonable and it was honestly one of the best decisions after walking so much. Excellent location, comfortable stay, relaxing bath experience and thoughtful facilities — definitely a 5-star experience for us and would stay again next trip to Osaka ❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay – Best Value, Hot Springs, and Free Food in Osaka!I had an amazing stay at Dormy Inn Premium in Osaka. The location is excellent, making it incredibly easy to access public transit, shopping districts, and local restaurants.What I loved:The Onsen (Hot Spring): The indoor and outdoor public baths are top-tier. It is the perfect way to unwind after walking 20,000 steps around Osaka. The saunas and cold plunges are a huge bonus.Free Perks: The signature free Yonaki Soba (soy sauce ramen) served every night is delicious. They also provide free ice cream after your bath in the evening and Yakult drinks in the morning.The Breakfast: Do not skip the buffet! The spread is incredible, featuring fresh local specialties, seafood, and western options.Rooms: While typical Japanese hotel rooms can be small, the ”Premium” lineup feels modern, functional, and spotlessly clean.Minor things to note:The elevators and bath areas can get quite busy during peak check-in and breakfast hours, but the staff manages it very well.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka. The amenities make it feel like a luxury ryokan experience at a reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Fukushima Station. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, guiding me through the self-check-in kiosk and storing my luggage after checkout. If you arrive by airport limousine bus, you can get off at the final stop and walk about 15–20 minutes to the hotel. The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I fell asleep right away. I also appreciated the free ice machine on our floor, which was great for enjoying cold drinks. The housekeeping staff were wonderful as well—even though they spoke limited English, they kindly used translation devices to communicate with us. Overall, it’s great value at HKD 655 per night (note: there is an additional HKD 145 hot spring tax payable at the hotel).

Great facilities, well located in Namba district, walking distance to the shopping area. Rooms are comfortable and spacious for Japanese standard. Noodles from 21:30 to 23:00 , ice cream from 15:00 to 02:00 and probiotics from 05:00 to 10:00 ia a plus.  The negative side is the Chinese tourists ! They don’t know the onsen protocols and behave like ducks, spreading Water everywhere , loud, and not courteous . They also don’t shower before getting in the water and keep changing baths without soaking thr body.

Loved our stay at City Plaza Osaka! We used Osaka as a base for our trip, going on multiple short day-trips followed by a longer stay in Tokyo, with one final night in Osaka before heading home. First room was clean and cozy, second room was HUGE and perfect for repacking our checked bag. Both rooms were comfortable and clean with excellent water pressure in the shower. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby, so didn’t try the hotel breakfast, but highly recommend Osaka Engine (has gluten free ramen options!) for a delicious meal! The FamilyMart downstairs was very convenient, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the onsen was the cherry on top. The hotel location was great, easy walking distance to various metro stations and sights like Osaka Castle. 10/10 would stay again!

Booked for just over 300 a night, I can only say that this price is an absolute steal! The location is great, making it super convenient to get to nearby tourist spots. There's a supermarket right across the street where you can grab snacks and drinks. The hot springs were very relaxing too.

Simply the best onsen I’ve ever been. There is a huge sauna theatre and many smaller ones with some differences. Many individual tubs for those who wants to enjoy by themselves. It’s amazing and I would definitely come again. Location is not the most popular ones but it’s just two stations away so it’s not a problem. Breakfast is ok.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby. The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, ”Your public bath is way too good to be the one of a hotel, it should be a private public bath.” The quality is superb, and the amenities are fully equipped with everything you have in your own bathroom: hair spray, shampoo, hair conditioner, sponge, razor, nail clipper, nourishing cream, toothbrush, toothpaste and woww a lot. You put heart in every detail. It was my first experience with a Japanese public bath, and it was the best. The staff are super friendly but still uphold guests’ privacy. Having a lot of guests, it was surprisingly enough to sleep. Just one quick recommendation: The hostel requires a daily check-in even when you book consecutive days. For us, it was no problem sorting out and communicating with staffs. But some foreign guests seemed a bit confused by the process. If they could clarify that for non-Japanese speakers better, the place would be beyond perfect! Thanks for the excellent experience!
