"The room was spacious, comfortable, and not damp. The bedding was also quite cozy. However, it suffers from a common hotel issue: poor soundproofing. Especially since there's a high-speed rail line right behind the hotel, and we were in the last row of rooms. When the high-speed train passed by, the noise was quite significant, though the hotel did provide earplugs. There aren't many amenities around the hotel, and it's a bit far from the beach, requiring a bike or car to get there. The surf pool was great, and the coaches were patient. The price was reasonable, and it felt very safe for beginners. I'd recommend trying it multiple times."

"You can never go wrong with choosing Sheraton when traveling; the quality and service of this long-standing hotel chain are always guaranteed. The room was comfortable and quite spacious, directly overlooking the pool, with a side view of the beach and ocean – very pleasant. The hotel thoughtfully provided Crocs-style sandals and a drying rack, which was convenient for drying clothes after going to the beach. The room also had a dehumidifier and air purifier, keeping the air fresh, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Our butler, Luna, provided excellent recommendations for local food and attractions. She also advised us to avoid peak times for breakfast and even sent us off with Hainan local specialties after check-out. For breakfast, I recommend sitting outside on the 2nd floor; the sea breeze is wonderfully refreshing. The 4th-floor indoor area is less crowded, and the food selection is the same. It would be even better with more desserts and cakes. The passion fruit was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Hou'an noodles; I had a bowl every day! I also strongly recommend the coconuts from the hotel's convenience store! They're cheaper than outside and incredibly creamy. The mangoes and passion fruit were also super tasty! They can even deliver to your room! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a self-pickup locker cabinet at the entrance. The shuttle bus can take you to the Four Points by Sheraton, and just a short walk further is a commercial street. For young children who want to swim, I recommend the pool at the adjacent Four Points; just mention your room number for access. In short, Sheraton is still Sheraton, and it never disappoints!"

I had originally booked a standard room, but upon arrival, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a Thai-style villa free of charge, which was such a wonderful surprise! "I finally have some time now, so I'll leave a detailed review for everyone's reference. The rooms and facilities are quite complete and relatively new. I saw some comments saying that the parking lot, guest rooms, and breakfast area were scattered and hard to find. I think it's actually fine; as a resort-style hotel with a central courtyard, it's easier to navigate than detached villas. It took about 20 minutes to walk around and get my bearings. The underground parking and restaurant are served by the same elevator. The front desk and concierge service were unremarkable, lacking a bit in smiles, quite bland 😊. Breakfast is served until 10:30 AM, but even at 10:15 AM, dishes were still being refilled, and the variety was quite rich. We didn't want to go out for dinner, so we ordered a set meal. The food was excellent, and the portions were huge; we couldn't finish it all. The service at the Chinese restaurant was very good, with staff consistently demonstrating the professionalism expected of a high-star hotel. Special commendation to the uncle at the outdoor BBQ, who was very enthusiastic and reminded us to watch our step when we passed by at night. There's a hot spring, but I didn't get to experience it. All three swimming pools are great, and the water is very clean, which the kids loved. Overall, if you're tired of ocean views, it's definitely worth staying for two nights."

"Given the 2500+ RMB price per night, we'll judge it by 2500+ RMB standards. The facilities are indeed old. The air conditioning doesn't get cold, no matter how you adjust it. Looking at other reviews, it's a central AC system and can't be adjusted. It showed 29 degrees Celsius in the room, and I wonder how many people staying in a hotel would find that acceptable. Breakfast required queuing, which I don't understand. As an older hotel, surely this isn't a new problem? If there aren't enough dining resources, why not open more restaurants? It's clearly sacrificing guest experience to maximize profits. Another strange policy is that once food delivery arrives, you have to call for it to be sent up. I don't quite understand why it can't just be delivered directly without the guest having to make that call. Perhaps the only good thing I'll remember is that the cleaning lady was very kind. She helped combine the beds, adjusted the dehumidifier, and found a spot to dry clothes. She was a gem. Overall, my feeling is that the staff are good, but the management comes up with these bizarre rules, and I have no idea what they're thinking."

Throughout our stay, her service was incredibly thoughtful and responsive. She went above and beyond, tirelessly answering my requests for the buggy at any hour – truly exceptional attentiveness that brought our trip to a perfect close!. As for the hotel itself, we booked a two-bedroom villa, and contrary to some online comments, it wasn't damp at all, even though it rained during our stay. The cleanliness was also satisfactory. The room was very spacious and perfectly comfortable for our family of five. We also enjoyed a continuous flow of welcome drinks and complimentary fruit platters and cakes upon arrival, which many five-star hotels don't even offer. The only minor drawback was breakfast; it was just too crowded. I had to queue at 9:00 AM on the first day and again at 10:20 AM on the second day. Everything else was absolutely perfect, and I look forward to visiting again!"

"After much deliberation between Shenzhou Peninsula and Riyue Bay, we finally decided on Shenzhou Peninsula, and this hotel truly exceeded our expectations. It's really good and very affordable. Upon arrival, you first check in at Banshan Banhai, and then a shuttle bus takes you to the front desk for check-in and to your room. The service was surprisingly excellent, and the room was spotlessly clean."
