"I stayed at the State Guesthouse for two nights. The lobby was grand, and the room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. However, I absolutely, absolutely do not recommend swimming in the pool! The water in the pool was murky, and there were so many children soaking in it that they completely packed the lanes. There was no coach or lifeguard to supervise, so it was impossible to swim. Perhaps this pool is purely for kids to play in, which is a shame. Also, at night, you can hear the highway and train sounds, so if you're a light sleeper or have trouble falling asleep, remember to bring earplugs."

It is about 10 minutes' drive from Tongren High-speed Railway Station; 40 minutes' drive from Tongren Airport; 80 minutes' drive from Phoenix Ancient City; and 70 minutes' drive from Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area. The construction area of Nancheng Courtyard is about 2,600 square meters. The rooms are divided into four main courts: east, south, west and north. Each single courtyard, courtyard and stacked room types adopt a multi-form silent style design, highlighting the nobleness of popular fashion and natural return to taste. He stayed in the courtyard of Nancheng but was far away from the hustle and bustle. Nancheng Beiyuan allows you to enjoy a modern and comfortable life, and brings you a good sleepy day and a good place to sleep. As the ancients said, "The song of birds and the mountain is quieter" added some silence to other courtyards. "The environment is great, full of ancient charm. The entire courtyard has a classic, antique feel. However, if you're sensitive to noise when sleeping, I wouldn't recommend it. It's an old wooden house with high ceilings, and even with renovations, it's pretty much soundproof. But the beautiful surroundings and excellent location make it worth overlooking that one flaw. It's just a minute or two's walk from the Zhongnan Archway, making it super convenient whether you want to stroll around the old town or head to Zhonghuan International. Plus, the staff are really enthusiastic and quick to resolve any issues you might have."

"Because our Guizhou trip was quite packed, and we had booked tickets for Fanjing Mountain for both morning and afternoon, we decided to stay two nights in Tongren city for safety reasons. I put a lot of effort into finding a hotel in the city center and after comparing many options, I chose this 5-star Jinjiang Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised! 😀
First, the hotel's location is unbeatable. It's very convenient for transportation and just a stone's throw away from Tongren Ancient City, with bustling surroundings like a blooming garden 🌸😄.
Second, the hotel facilities are comprehensive. There's a parking lot 🅿️, a magnificent lobby, convenient and fast elevators/stairs. The hygiene is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the environment is elegant and quiet. Staying on a high floor, you can see a winding river below and lush green mountains shrouded in mist in the distance – it's absolutely beautiful!
Third, let's talk about the service. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and helpful. We had a lot of luggage, and they efficiently arranged for someone to assist us. Most importantly, the value for money is outstanding, I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍"

"The hotel is located near Tongren Railway Station, just a 15-minute walk from the station, so catching the early bus to Fanjingshan is no problem at all. The room has the same minimalist, natural wood style as the Ji Hotel, clean and cozy. What I loved most was the tea table by the window, complete with the same high-quality tea set as the Ji Hotel's lifestyle store. After climbing Fanjingshan, my back was sore, but brewing a pot of tea and watching the city street scene outside the window instantly relaxed me.
I must commend the front desk service. The ladies were incredibly warm and attentive, giving me a handwritten local food guide. Following their recommendations, I found a hidden gem in Tongren Old Town: roasted pig's trotters. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, each bite burst with juice, sprinkled with Guizhou's unique chili powder—so delicious I couldn't stop eating! In the evening, I also had local barbecue—fresh beef and shrimp with a secret dipping sauce—it was so satisfying!
Knowing I had to catch a flight the next day, the ladies proactively booked a car to the airport for me and even reminded me to pack breakfast in advance. Having stayed at so many chain hotels, the attention to detail and the warmth of this Ji Hotel are truly exceptional. It's clean, comfortable, has a superb location, and offers attentive service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tongren!"

"Pinman Hotel at Tongren Station was a pleasant surprise! I originally booked a family room, but since I was traveling with my father and child, I decided to upgrade to a suite. The decor and ambiance of the suite were perfectly to our taste – very beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and even had books. The two rooms were laid out just right, and despite being right next to Tongren Station, it wasn't noisy at all.
It was incredibly convenient for our high-speed train journey back the next morning; we could walk to the station in just a few minutes. Super, super convenient! The breakfast was also very good.
Because of this stay at Pinman, I now want to choose other hotels in the Pinman series for my future travels. I hope they're all this good!"

"Having stayed in many hotels, this one has the best value for money!
The facilities aren't new, so I wouldn't recommend it for tourists looking for a relaxing vacation. However, I highly recommend it for those on a budget who want a comfortable place to stay.
The room had everything you'd expect. It looked a bit old, but it was just worn, not dirty (as anyone who's stayed in an old house knows). It was cleaned quite well. The shower pipe in my room was slightly broken and leaked, but the hot water was plentiful, so showering wasn't a problem. The breakfast was simple, just a regular breakfast, but definitely not bad! It was much more convenient than finding a breakfast shop in the cold winter mornings. Two days they served porridge, vegetables, and steamed buns, and on the last day they served freshly made noodles and rice noodles. I ate one bowl but wasn't full, so I asked for another. The staff were also very friendly.
The most important thing is! The room was really nice! Large! The bathroom wasn't cramped either! And the mattress was very thick! I stayed for four days, and this spacious room was still the most comfortable. Perhaps because the room was large and far away, there was very little noise. Overall, the stay was good, and even though I'm not a big sleeper, I slept quite well. So far, the only hotels I've stayed in that have been more comfortable than this one are four-star hotels. However, four-star hotels are expensive, so this one is more budget-friendly. Satisfied, five-star review. Wishing the hotel great success."

"So far, this is the 3rd hotel we stayed in Tongren, i would definitely say, this is the best and so far for me and family. This JinJiang hotspring hotel really met international standard in terms of counter service (very polite and good attitude receptionist), and service at hotspring area deserves a thumbs up. The room is very spacious, nice interior and important - clean and neat. The water playground is definitely a good place for kids to have fun during summer holiday.
I told the hotel desk that it was my actual birthday yesterday, guess what, they sent me a plate of grapes, so sweet of them.
I would definitely come to this hotel next time when i am visiting my niece and nephew again."

"I arrived around 9 PM. The parking lot is shared with a mall, and the environment was quite poor. The front desk staff's attitude during check-in was mediocre. I had breakfast included, but they didn't remind me of the breakfast times or location. After driving all day, I was completely out of it and forgot if I had even booked breakfast. It took about 20 to 30 minutes for a robot to deliver a pair of slippers. The showerhead was broken, only the top shower was working. It was too late and I was too tired to bother calling the front desk. When checking out, they didn't mention anything about returning the deposit; I had to ask about it later, and then they promptly returned it.
The pros are that the room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bedding was good. However, the cleanliness was average, the service was mediocre, and the soundproofing in the room was very poor."
