The overall service, room condition and hotel atmosphere were excellent and it felt like a very good choice for staying in Changshu. As Muslim travelers, one of the biggest blessings for us was that there was a Turkish halal food restaurant nearby in Rainbow Plaza just 15 minutes walk from the hotel. This made our stay much easier and more convenient because most of the other halal food options were around 40–50 minutes away by car. Having a halal restaurant close to the hotel was a huge relief and really improved our overall experience. The hotel location was also convenient and the surrounding area felt nice and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend Grand Rezen Hotel Merryland Changshu to families, business travelers, and especially Muslim travelers who are looking for a comfortable hotel with at least one nearby halal food option"

"Changshu Xingcheng is actually a newly opened starway in 2025, and the overall texture is much better than expected. The layout of the family room is very intimate. The baby sleeps in a small bed. We two sleep in a big bed without interference. The three people live in a room is much more cost-effective than opening two rooms. The price/performance ratio can be considered in the chain. The hardware is the dividend of the new store shower + bathtub double configuration, can take a bath really plus points, sound insulation and linen are also worthy of the price. The reception staff at the front desk are polite and courteous, and the service is thoughtful and commendable. The location also has to be praised: not far from the old city gardens such as Lushan City Wall and Fangta Garden. It is very convenient to go to the mountain to go to the garden by car or take a taxi. It is also close to Tongjiang Road to eat late at night. The takeaway is delivered by the robot to the door of the room, and it is very worry-free to take the baby downstairs. The whole is clean, new, and the location is good. The family travels to this hotel and the experience is comfortable. I should stay in Changshu next time."

"I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Changshu five years ago and had a good impression of the hotel. It may be a bit old now, and there are not many guests staying in the hotel. I think all aspects of the hotel are OK, but it was a bit cold during breakfast. The weather has been several degrees below zero recently, and it is a bit unreasonable that the air conditioner was not turned on."

There was no room service, and despite requesting housekeeping, it never returned all day. I didn't see any front desk staff during my three-day stay. This is the worst guesthouse I've stayed at in this price range recently."

"The photos of Internet celebrities are all photoshopped, and the actual white walls have faded. It is a place for wedding banquets. The experience is extremely poor and there is basically no service at all. If you need anything, you have to go to the front desk and ask yourself. Sound insulation is weak. Checked out after 8 o'clock in the morning and the front desk was not at work yet, so casual. 400 a night without breakfast, not worth the price. Will not be returning."
Yushan Hotel
"The hotel's decor is quite old, and the hallways are dim, revealing the appearance of a former government-run guesthouse. The room's windows face inward, offering no view and being quite dim. The room is spacious, and the bathroom, shower, and bathtub are both large. However, the furniture is noticeably older, with paint peeling from the cabinet doors and hangers. The provided electric kettle was incredibly dirty, with scale lining the inside and the lid stained from not wiping it. I didn't use it for several days; it was so filthy that I decided I wouldn't stay again. Since it was my first stay and my schedule was tight, I planned to eat at the hotel, but there were virtually no dishes suitable for one person. I was later told that the hotel primarily caters to groups, so each dish is usually large, not enough for one person. So, for the next few days, I ordered takeout. I won't comment on the hotel's breakfast buffet."
