My stay at Hilton Changshu Longteng was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changshu. The hotel is beautifully situated by Qinhu Lake, with its unique cruise ship-like architecture making it instantly recognizable. My lake view room was spacious and bright, featuring panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony. Watching the sunset over the lake in the evening was incredibly therapeutic and relaxing. The room was well-appointed with smart devices that were easy to use, and the bathroom had separate wet and dry areas with branded toiletries – every detail was meticulously thought out. Breakfast, served on the 11th floor, offered a wide variety of dishes, including authentic freshly made Suzhou-style noodles, all enjoyed with a fantastic view. Xiao Yue provided gentle and professional service. I arrived early, and my original room wasn't ready yet. Xiao Yue patiently discussed room options with me and proactively upgraded me to a lake view balcony room. During check-in, she clearly and understandably explained everything regarding the deposit, minibar, and checkout expenses. She was responsive and thoughtful throughout. Whether it was in-person reception or online inquiries, she was always enthusiastic and patient. The hotel's environment, dining, and facilities are impeccable, but Xiao Yue's meticulous and warm service truly made the experience exceptional. My stay was fantastic, and I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Changshu. I recommend everyone to stay here and ask for Xiao Yue!

I booked two rooms for two nights, each including breakfast and a meal at the cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style cafe) daily. The hotel is conveniently located; you can take a bus directly from the high-speed rail station, which takes about 20 minutes, and it's just a short walk from the bus stop. I informed them in advance that it was my sister's birthday, so one of the rooms was decorated and came with a fruit platter, which made my sister very happy. Last night, we received complimentary mung bean soup and a fan, but it seems there was nothing tonight. The swimming pool is outsourced, so even non-guests with a membership can use it. However, the smoke smell was far too strong. I ended up opening a few windows and staying for only half an hour before leaving because I couldn't stand the secondhand smoke. There were also people smoking in the hallways and elevators; a strong smell of smoke hit you as soon as you entered. I hope the hotel can implement stricter controls regarding this. The service, however, was excellent. The rooms provided small bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and lotion. Since we were hiking and swimming, we showered two or three times a day, and with long hair, we used a lot. I called several times for refills, and they were always promptly delivered.

This is a brand-new Atour hotel, and its location is excellent. It's super convenient whether you're heading to Yushan, Shanghu, or the pedestrian street. What's even more impressive is their service; it truly feels human-centered throughout. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Changshu.

Even though the weather was uncooperative, with endless rain dampening our spirits a bit, the service at Elegant QinChuan Residence still made me feel right at home. From a warm cup of tea upon arrival to a friendly greeting when leaving, and even quick solutions for minor issues, everyone at the hotel tried their best to help. A special shout-out to Dong Lamei at the front desk – not only did she upgrade our room and send welcome fruit for me and my child, but she also thoughtfully prepared contingency plans for a temporary power outage due to line maintenance, anticipating potential inconvenience for guests.

常熟星城這家居然是2025年新開的星程，整體質感比預想的好太多。 家庭房佈局很貼心，娃睡小床我們倆睡大床互不幹擾，三人住一間比開兩間房划算不少，性價比在連鎖裏算能打的。硬件是新店的紅利——淋浴+浴缸雙配置，能泡澡真的加分，隔音和布草也對得起價格。前台接待人員禮貌客氣，服務周到，值得讚揚。 位置也得誇一句：離虞山城牆、方塔園這些老城園林都不遠，想去爬山逛園子自行開車或打車十分便捷；晚上遛彎到通江路吃宵夜也近。外賣是機器人送到房門口，帶娃懶得下樓很省心。整體乾淨、新、位置佳，家庭出行住這家酒店體驗舒服，下次來常熟應該還會入住。

The hotel has underground parking, which is very convenient. The staff were warm and provided excellent service. The room was quite spacious, but the window was small, leading to poor ventilation. The bedding and cleanliness were decent. However, the soundproofing in the room was terrible; I could hear normal conversations from next door clearly. Plus, there's a music restaurant downstairs that was blasting music late into the night, I could even make out the lyrics while lying in bed... 😭

The room was great. The bedside table had a wireless phone charger, the gym had relatively extensive facilities, and the laundry room had a washing machine that automatically added detergent, and the dryer was also very powerful. The breakfast was good! The downside was that the room was a bit cramped.

The hotel's exterior environment is very good, and the rooms are generally nice, with clean bath towels. The fitness facilities at the partner venue are quite comprehensive. I rarely write negative reviews, but the service during this stay definitely needs improvement. The hotel can verify all my statements with surveillance footage. I checked in around 7 PM and asked the front desk if there was a gym and how to get there. They told me there was a skywalk on the third floor. I changed into my workout clothes and went there around 7:50 PM, but my key card didn't work. I went back to the front desk, and they said all the new cards they just got were faulty and wouldn't work. So, why did they give me a non-working card when they knew I was going to the gym? I finished my workout around 8:58 PM and shivered my way back to my room through the cold wind on the third floor (it was the rooftop, not the skywalk). Then, both of my key cards wouldn't open the door. I had to go back to the front desk again to get new cards. I hope they can improve their service in the future.

Went to Changshu for a visit and chose this hotel. Overall, I was very satisfied, so I booked another day. Let’s talk about the location first. It is right in the city center, very close to Yushan Mountain and Fangta Garden, and can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. It is also very close to Yushan City Wall, only 2 bus stops away. As for the facilities, they are a bit old-fashioned, but the furniture in the room is made of good quality wood, and feels like furniture bought at home. There are two rooms in the house, each with a 1.5-meter bed, suitable for family travel. The bathroom is large and has a bathtub. It is very comfortable to take a bath when you come back at night. There was no smell in the room at all, which was a pleasant surprise, probably because of the good ventilation. The room faces east and has two large floor-to-ceiling windows. When you open the curtains in the morning, sunlight comes in and you can see the square tower by the window. The windows can also be opened slightly for ventilation. The surrounding is very quiet and I slept well at night. You can park in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helped us store our luggage. The hotel breakfast is pretty average, mainly consisting of carbohydrate staples such as steamed buns, dumplings, and steamed cakes. There are eggs, tea eggs, and soy milk, but no coffee or milk (but it may be because I went late and didn't get to eat them). However, a buffet breakfast only costs 20 yuan, and there was no price increase during the Spring Festival, which is already very conscience. I was very satisfied with this trip to Changshu and will stay in this hotel again in the future.
