"El hotel es bonito, aunque nuestra habitación, la número 6 en la planta baja tenia una ventana en el pasillo y siempre tenias que tener la corrina bajada porque te veía todo el mundo al pasar, con lo cual era muy oscura y bastante pequeña, sin tv (aunque yo nunca la utilizo, pero quizás haya gente que si) y sin armario, solo un burro para colgar alguna cosa..
El check in se hace en otro edificio, pero nadie te avisa y no hay ningún cartel que lo señale, cuando llegamos estuvimos mucho tiempo esperando a que apareciese alguien, hasta que finalmente preguntando nos ayudo un chico que pasaba por alli.
Las dos terrazas son preciosas, el sitio para desayunar me encantó.
Nuestra reserva tenía el desayuno incluido, es a la carta y estaba muy bueno, pero solo te dejan elegir un plato por persona, si quieres otro tienes que pagar 150 pesos por plato en efectivo al camarero y no te permite cargarlo a la habitación.
En general disfrutamos de la estancia y repetiríamos."

It was a pity that the hot water in the shower only came out, but it's a small island, so I think it can't be helped there. Because the temperature is not low, it is not cold even in the water and it is bathed .....

FFuentesDannyThe hotel is well, looks relatively new and keeps it in good condition.
The beaches are beautiful but it is a little isolated from the city center where restaurants and shops are, although it has a small shop quite slightly out there and a small mini-super a little farther.
It has two trees but they are always cold, I don't know if they are tolerated in summer, we couldn't get into winter, children and Europeans did not have so much trouble.
As an island, there is no medical service for delicate situations and the nearest is Cancún at two and a half hours on ferry and then on road to get ready.
The staff is very friendly and service.
The worst is the restaurant, food is generally bad, but the worst is breakfast, there are only horrible eggs that seem to make them with water, sauces, fries, chilaquiles and hotcakes. The juice is diluted with water and syrup (we saw it), it is the tail!!! as if they don't charge enough!!! The fatal sweet bread, the poor coffee and they don't serve it on the table. The food bells were always empty because we were too many guests and they were not awaiting. It's so bad that on the third day we decided to go to a neighboring hotel (and pay $1500 for 3 people) with an excellent buffet very abundant and excellent service, all the coffee we wanted and always served us at the table. There were eggs made, but you could also ask for a omelet with different extras at the moment, etc. Generally thousand times better.
The tours that the hotel sells you do not make it clear you are not in season so that the bioluminescent is almost nothing and you have to be moving the water to see something and the one of the 3 islands you don't see a single pink flamenc.
We're not going back to this hotel.

GGuest UserLocation, Good compromise if you want to split time between their beach club and going downtown for dinner, drinks, party.
The downside is that you can hear the music from a club nearby till midnight, it isn't loud at least in my room, but some may have problem sleeping.
If you want a quiet place you should look further from dt.
Service, it's pretty good, staff is friendly and happy to help.
Beach club, nice but small beach, lots of shade, staff can get overwhelmed with the orders, resulting on a bit of chaos. (Beach bar was closed due to a recent storm, so things may be different when open). You can have some of your own drinks and food.
Rooms (at leas mine) rustic construction, be ready to hear some outside noise and other rooms noise. They are kept clean, no insects, well maintained. Bed was firm. Shower was acceptable (variable pressure, takes to figure out how to get the right water temp.). Towels, you'll have to ask to be swapped (you're on a small island and h2o is limited).
How fast is service in Holbox? well not fast, you're in an island in the Caribbean so if you expect fast service it'll be hard to find here.

GGuest UserThe place is amazing and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The helped us with the late checkout, with extra stuff we needed and also booking transportation. Always quick and with a smile. The rooms are large, clean and the AC works super well. It is 2 blocks (2 minutes walk) from the main square and 4 blocks (3/4 minutes walk) from the sea. The check in and checkout was super fast and easy and at night it was very quiet and we had a great rest. I definitely recommend it.
