"The hotel is on the mountain, beautiful view. But it needs to be understood that this is not a beach hotel. Formally there is an exit to the beach from the pool, but it is very cool and in the heat to rise from the sea it is a occupation only for physically trained people. And it is wild.
On the sea beach you need to drive 5 minutes Maya Beach, parking + two lying + a umbrella 35 euros a day. Towels are yours.
Breakfast was delicious, but all 4 days were the same.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable.
Far from civilization , there is one on the mountain.
There are lots of parking spaces.
There is a paid transfer to Taormina.
Dinner for 35 euros is normal, but without delight.
In the evening there is a show program."

The hotel is incredibly beautiful and unique, with stunning views that made every moment special. My room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful and peaceful sleep throughout my stay. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who made my experience so memorable—from the team who checked me in to the bellman and doorman who kindly assisted me upon arrival and departure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It is no surprise that this hotel is so famous. You have created such a beautiful memory for my vacation, one that I will always cherish. I truly look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to everyone for such an exceptional experience.

IIka_EllyGreat experience! Everything was really good. We had a room with terass and a view of the sea. It was stunning. Room was very clean and sheets where changed daily, which was nice when you have two dogs that sneak into bed during the night. Location was great. A short distance walk to the town center with shops and restaurants. The parking service was great. They park the car for you and when you need it they will bring the car in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. It will cost you 20€/ night but it's hassle free. Staff is fantastic. We arrived around 6AM (much earlier than expected), and way too early for the normal check-in time. We were absolutely exhausted after a night of driving and our room wasn't ready. But the staff was kind enough to give us a room to sleep in, and at 11AM we could check-in to our booked room. Free of charge! Breakfast was also great and they do packed breakfast if you leave before breakfast time. The hotel doesn't do laundry, but there is a laundry place 800m away.

While the rooms are a bit dated, the pool and beach facilities make this an absolute gem of a resort! The unspoiled views of Isola Bella by the beach and gorgeous view of Mt Etna at the pool are breathtaking. The restaurant also serves impeccable Sicilian food featuring local favorites like anchovies, swordfish, arancini, and cannolo. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to the town center, but we found it more convenient to call taxi when we wanted to move around.

AAntonioOverlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice. The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them. This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Wonderful & romantic location. Friendly and professional staff. Special praise to Miguel and all the catering guys. Nice, efficient and smart. The cleaning ladies and all the staff who manage the sunbeds and the beach area are very kind. Top breakfast & lunch! Congratulations also to Mr. Daniele at reception, very quick in managing problem solving. In the end…we extended our stay.

Everything was good except for the laundry. We paid 40 euros and our laundry came back still somewhat dirty and not smelling clean. All my white clothes were ruined because they didn't separate. Wasted my money and my clothes. Breakfast was good but repetitive. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. We had a sea view room which was beautiful however it felt so stuffy and humid that it prevented us from sleeping and we were unable to turn on the air conditioning. The walls were so thin that we could hear people outside all night, we could hear the people have breakfast in the morning, and we could hear the opera couple streets over. Location was close enough to the bus and to shops and restaraunts.

A fantastic hotel, located within the scenic area, within walking distance of the viewing platform and the grand theater. The town is wonderful at night and worth exploring. It's highly recommended to book a room with a small balcony, as it's excellent.
