GGuest UserGreat little hotel in a terrible location. The hotel is in a now dead pedestrian shopping area that is under reconstruction. No escalator working, entering through the parking garage in the dark to take the elevator up. When I left even that access was blocked by trucks and steel. Horrible. Not a safe location and was one of the few times in China I have felt uncomfortable as a solo female traveler.
The room was lovely and very quiet. Good laundry facilities, comfortable bed, coffee available. The staff was nice. For now, however, this place is not recommended. Maybe when the construction is finished along the river.

DDeirstarA very comfortable hotel and a helpful and friendly staff. The free breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. There are blackout curtains and you can easily turn off all the little lights that hotel rooms always have. Bus G3 goes from the high speed train station to the hotel and bus 65 goes from the same bus stop to Shenhai Well and the Dinosaur museum. The lovely botanic gardens are only a bus ride away and you can walk through a tunnel and across the bridge to the older part of the city and the Salt museum, or you could just get a bus. The hotel is on a busy road but the hotel was surprisingly quiet.

The TV in the room couldn't cast to our devices; the front desk said it was due to network restrictions. Isn't Hanting supposed to be standardized? How can a basic feature like casting not work?
The breakfast tasted pretty good, typical Sichuan flavor. But there were no noodles! 😧

GGuest UserThis hotel is the best choice for visiting the Lantern Festival during Chinese New Year. It's a 15-minute walk to the venue, and there's a home-style restaurant and a bubble tea shop downstairs. Getting to the high-speed rail station by ride-sharing app takes less than 15 minutes. While prices are generally high during Chinese New Year, the service here was exceptionally warm and friendly. They offered complimentary snacks in the room, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the flavorful noodles with chili. The only downside is that the platform in the room is a bit easy to trip on. Oh, and they even gave us a souvenir when we checked out – Zigong salt, a lantern, and a small horse pendant!

GGuest UserThis stay was great! The exterior of the hotel is atmospheric and the lobby is elegant. The rooms are well lit, the sanitary corners are clean and the quality of toiletries is online. The front desk service is patient and meticulous, and problems can be solved in time. Travel is also very convenient, whether it is to play or work is very suitable, I really recommend everyone to choose.

AAnne-Marie BoyeldieuGood location, as it's a 5-minute walk from the bus terminal, which serves all the city's attractions, as well as the train station (bus G1).
I didn't see the hotel's name sign on the facade, but the photos of the reception area shown on the booking website make it easy to identify when you arrive.
The staff doesn't speak any English, not even at reception. However, everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful, and Google Translate is a perfect tool.
The room was very spacious, comfortable, and very clean. It matched the photos. However, there was no designated luggage area.
The bedding was excellent. The bed was very large. There was a sitting area (sofa and coffee table). Outlets were usable without an adapter (for European devices). The Wi-Fi was adequate.
The bathroom was large and very clean. A minor drawback was that the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel weren't always refilled. But if you ask, they'll do it without any problem. A hairdryer was available.
Daily housekeeping.
Bottled water was provided daily. Electric kettle provided. Space intended for a small refrigerator... but unfortunately not available.
Quiet environment.
Breakfast buffet. A perfectly satisfactory selection, but potentially limited for those who prefer non-Asian options. The staff was very attentive, providing me with cutlery every morning.
Bonus: Free self-service washing machine (and detergent). Dryer also available. Super convenient!

GGuest UserEverything about this hotel was fantastic, from check-in to our room and then check-out – the whole experience was a pleasure. First off, the front desk staff at check-in were so welcoming, and their voices were so sweet. Seeing that we had a child with us, they proactively upgraded us to a larger room and even gave our little one a special souvenir: a Zigong lantern, which is quite memorable. There's so much delicious food in Zigong, it's definitely worth a visit! The hotel offers free parking, and a special shout-out to the cleanliness of the rooms – even the laundry room was spotless. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Zigong! Truly, we had such a satisfying stay, highly recommend!

GGuest UserIn short, extremely satisfied. We spent the whole day at Fantawild Adventure, and it was only a few minutes' walk to the hotel at 8 pm – the huge parking lot in front was very convenient. Check-in was smooth, but when we got to the room, we thought we'd gone to the wrong one, since we'd booked a twin room for younger children. It was such a large family room! The staff must have upgraded us; and if they upgraded, they made it so luxurious. The room type is exactly as pictured and described, and the kids loved it. The breakfast the next day was also plentiful, and the kids didn't want to leave until after 11 am before we had to check out! A wonderful trip! The family-friendly hotel made for a perfect ending.

GGuest UserA huge contrast in my experience over the two nights. I arrived at 9:30pm and went to my room to find chaos on the corridor; other guests with no conscience or respect for others who think it is good to have groups of people in one room with the doors open between their adjoining rooms and televisions blaring and children running and screaming in the corridor with parents shouting after them, which continued until after 11:30pm. The breakfast was also exceptionally busy and noisy.
However when I returned to the hotel later in the day the majority of people had gone and the hotel took on a completely different feel. It's rural location and large landscaped grounds helped to give it the serenity of which it was deserving. The staff worked incredibly hard to clean all of the rooms and yet still had time to bring small gifts to my room which I found when I returned. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and the room was large and comfortable with a nice view of greenery. Great location for the dinosaurs and also easy to obtain a Didi to get to the centre of Zigong. . Also walking distance to the Qinglong Reservoir which has a 13 mile circuit for cycling and annual half marathon running race.

MMaotoumaThe hotel is on a hill. Parking is very convenient. It has its own garden landscape. The environment is beautiful and quiet, which is very suitable for morning jogging. The breakfast is rich in content, and the dishes change every day. The taste is also very good. The waiter Zhang Xia is warm and thoughtful, and will answer any questions. Must answer, make people feel at home. If I have the chance to come to Ligong next time, I will choose Tanmulin Hotel.
