KKyaraMeru_If you're traveling to Linfen, Shanxi, I genuinely recommend Gu Cheng Da Yuan. It's not a hotel in the usual sense; it's more like staying in a living piece of history.
The moment you push open the heavy wooden door, the city's hustle and bustle are shut out. It's a genuine old house, not some 'faux-ancient' style.
🛏️ The stay was more comfortable than I expected. The room was spacious, antique in style, but not at all dark.
✔ Underfloor heating + central air conditioning throughout, so no fear of the cold in winter.
✔ Turn on the projector and binge-watching shows in bed at night was incredibly satisfying 📽️.
✔ Welcome fruit, tea, coffee, cocktails 🍹, and afternoon tea 🫖 were all prepared.
✔ 24-hour butler service, always responsive.
✔ Takeout can be delivered directly to the room – super friendly for lazy people.
🥟 The attention to detail was a real bonus. On the Winter Solstice, I actually got to eat dumplings handmade by the hotel, and I suddenly felt 'cared for'. The breakfast menu changes daily, so you don't get tired of it.
💆♀️ This was a truly relaxing, 'lie-flat' vacation. This time, I also tried the newly introduced sound bowl healing at the hotel, which made me so relaxed I didn't want to talk throughout the session. Even if I didn't leave all day, just soaking up the sun, reading, and daydreaming in the courtyard felt completely worth it.
📸 Every corner is picture-perfect. Carved window lattices, grey brick corridors – every spot is Instagrammable.
If you're looking for a trip where you don't have to rush your itinerary or exert yourself, but simply want to stay somewhere excellent and peaceful, then Gu Cheng Da Yuan is truly a place to just lie back and relax 🤎.

YYitiaoxiaoweibadelvyoushijieEnvironment: The hotel is located within a scenic area. Just show your booking confirmation and you can drive directly in. It's built into the hillside, and the air is wonderfully fresh.
Facilities: The room only had a toothbrush and toothpaste; nothing else was provided. I suggest improving this aspect.
Service: The service was very enthusiastic. Initially, I chose a room with a balcony, but it was quite small. They immediately switched me to one with a bathtub, which made the space feel much larger.
Hygiene: Overall, it was very clean.
I recommend staying here; it offers good value for money.

The front desk processing speed is very fast, the reservation information is reported, and the room card is obtained in 5 minutes. The first feeling of entering the room is ”standard” - the white sheets are covered with clean, no obvious stains; the air conditioner is fast, and it will be cool after adjusting 24 degrees; The desk is big enough, the laptop and files are not crowded, the Wi-Fi is stable, and the video conference has not been carded. The most practical thing is that the bathroom has enough water pressure, hot water is out in seconds, and it is very comfortable to take a shower after a tired day.
But there are also obvious shortcomings: the room is soundproof, you can listen to the sound of the cleaning car pushing in the corridor at night, and the movement of the door next door. If you sleep lightly, you have to wear earplugs; the bed is a bit hard, and the waist is a bit sour on the first day of sleep; breakfast is self-service
The whole is ”no problem but no bright spot”, as a place to stay temporarily on business trips, there is no problem to meet the basic needs of sleeping and office work. If you want to pursue a little living texture, it may almost mean it.

GGuest UserEverything was very good and above our expectation in a small city in China. Roomy and clean room. Water flow of the shower was also good. 2 Laundry machines and dryer were available and even during breakfast time, we we able to wash our clothing within an hour. Every efficient! This hotel is located in the heart of Hongdong city and walking distance to a shopping mall and there are many restaurants around. Although breakfast is basically Chinese only, at least coffee was available.
Highly recommended for foreigners visiting Guangsheng temple! Thank you!!

The breakfast variety was the standard of Huazhu. The front desk also presented small food and apples, and also helped recommend the restaurant next door, the Yellow River big carp, tastes good, the restaurant's food is great

MM860276****After a long journey, what I look forward to most is finding a warm and comfortable sanctuary to rest in. This time, I stumbled upon Zefei Hotel, and it truly showed me what it means to be an 'extraordinary presence on a journey.'
Stepping into the lobby, the vintage 'Maillard' colored walls, the European-style fireplace area, and the walls lined with books instantly transported me into an artistic space, making the fatigue of my long travels disappear. When checking in, the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. Not only did they quickly process my check-in, but they also thoughtfully introduced the hotel facilities and interesting places nearby. Their service truly warmed my heart!
Entering the room, the solid wood furniture paired with a Zinus mattress and star-rated bedding made lying down feel like being gently enveloped by clouds – pure comfort. The room also thoughtfully provided a coffee corner, and the aroma of pour-over coffee filled the air, allowing me to enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility even in this unfamiliar city.
The hotel's public areas are also fantastic. The 24-hour café, with its rich coffee aroma, is perfect whether you want to start your morning full of energy or relax in the evening with a cup of coffee. In my free time, I enjoyed picking out a favorite book in the book bar and immersing myself in a sea of knowledge; time just seemed to slow down.
Moreover, the hotel's location is excellent, with shopping malls and food streets all around, and transportation is very convenient. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, Zefei Hotel is an excellent choice. I genuinely recommend it to everyone; come here and start your wonderful journey!

As soon as I entered the door, the staff smiled and handed over the hot towel, and instantly washed away the fatigue of the journey. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the living was particularly relaxed, and there was a warm feeling of going home. The whole service is delicate and thoughtful, and I can always think of the guests in front of me to take the initiative to help with luggage, patiently introduce the surrounding area, and timely replenishment of supplies. I really do what the customer thinks, simple and warm. I also noticed that the banner presented by other guests read ”Do your best to find lost things” and ”See the truth in the late night emergency”, which shows that this hotel has always been anxious. highly recommended!

CcutaThis is the best and highest-rated hotel in Jixian. We made a last-minute detour to stay here for a night after taking a wrong turn on the way to Hukou Waterfall. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, quiet, and comfortable. The staff are also very nice, and the breakfast is substantial. Highly recommended!

There are also many local snacks nearby, and the view from halfway up the mountain is particularly beautiful. Traveling during the off-season, this is the best choice.
