It was almost 8 PM when we got back from Shantou, and the hotel even thoughtfully called to remind us about check-in. The hotel was conveniently located not far from the highway exit. The room layout was well-designed; though not super new, it was perfectly adequate. Soaking in the hot spring tub on the balcony was a great way to wash away the travel fatigue. It's a shame that guests upstairs were still being loud late into the night, but thankfully we're used to going to bed late. In the morning, you can look down from the balcony and see the hot spring pools; there aren't many, but the environment is lovely. Breakfast was decent too. Upon checkout, they even gave us some Longmen local specialties. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a good rest stop during your travels.

SanmuyutianAvoid the family room if you can, the value for money is just too low! Our first night was in a sea-view room, and the experience was really great – with a balcony, sunlight, and an ocean view. On the second and third days, at our child's request, we stayed in a family room. It felt like being kicked from a Hawaiian island straight into a basement. No balcony, no natural light, and the room was dim (since it's on the first floor, and the lobby is on the third). Plus, the sea-view room had a big bathtub in the bathroom, while the family room's bathroom just had a large empty space with nothing in it. The toiletries provided for the two room types were also different: the sea-view room had L'Occitane, while the family room had large bottles of generic brand products. This room type, with its downgraded environment and amenities, was even more expensive. I really can't wrap my head around it. 😮💨

ShuinuanjinwenThis time, I brought my grandma on a trip. I've been to Huizhou many times before and stayed at various hotels, both higher and lower class than this one in Shuangyue Bay, but this hotel had the best service. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff, was excellent. Since we stayed for two nights, the housekeeping auntie proactively came to clean, and she was very thorough. All in all, I was extremely satisfied.

amieangelThe Ctrip package with breakfast and dinner was incredibly good value for money!
The hotel is right on the East River, with the lobby on the 29th floor, offering panoramic views of the murky East River and the picturesque West Lake.
Check-in was quick. There was a 10-minute wait at the front desk during the Dragon Boat Festival, which was acceptable.
The room's highlight was its high floor and expansive views. However, the room felt a bit dated. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy when turned up high, and even on the lowest setting, it was still quite loud. The most unbearable part was how dry it made the air; I was parched all night from the air conditioning. The hairdryer was an old model with weak airflow. The shower pressure wasn't great; it lacked the strong spray you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. If you order takeout, be prepared to pick it up yourself!
They were generous with bottled water. On the first day, I asked for extra and got four bottles. On the second day, they automatically provided four 560ml JingTian bottles. The first day, there were small face towels, but on the second day, only large bath towels were provided.
For the public areas, we mainly used the swimming pool. It's about 10 meters long and ranges from 1.1 to 1.6 meters deep, which isn't ideal for proper swimming. The water quality was clean and it was heated, but it was absolutely packed during the holiday. The pool closes at 9:50 PM, and we managed to squeeze in a swim just before closing on both nights. The gym area seems to be outsourced, and towels aren't allowed upstairs.
The dinner was a pleasant surprise because they didn't charge for children, which immediately made it a great value. If you book in advance, you can get a riverside table with fantastic views for enjoying the night scenery. You can order steak and chicken chop à la carte, which were pretty good. The biggest highlight was the Tom Yum Goong Garoupa fillet, which was very fresh and cooked on the spot by the chef. Though, for some reason, the chef seemed quite stressed and angry throughout. The sashimi was fairly standard, but the salmon and octopus were good. They also had Hainanese chicken; the chili sauce was excellent, but the chicken itself was a bit dry. There were other Southeast Asian specialties, so there was some variety. Overall, the quality was just average compared to similar hotels in Dongguan, but given the price, it still offered good value for money.
Breakfast:
I could honestly just eat one thing: their Hakka pork offal noodle soup – it was delicious! There were three topping options for the noodles at breakfast, which was great. They also had three soup bases: pork offal, chicken, and beef bone. The pork offal soup was incredibly flavorful, just as good as anything you'd find outside. You can definitely get a very filling breakfast here and won't feel hungry until lunchtime.
You can walk to Hualian Tiandi in about 10 minutes. Taking a taxi to West Lake also takes around 10 minutes. Even if you come by car, I'd recommend taking a taxi to West Lake.

The hotel service is very considerate. The front desk guy also patiently introduced the room to me. He also specially processed a new guest VIP, free breakfast and late check-out, which is great! Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong
The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time.
After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!!
The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻
The staff were also so polite and friendly!!
Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were ..
Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining...
Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there.
There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring!
Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings...
I really hope one day I can go again!!
But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

Our stay at the Ramada Huamei Hotel in Xunliao Bay was absolutely wonderful! The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. Check-in was efficient, and they were quick to respond to any questions, which made us feel very comfortable. The hotel's water park is a lot of fun, with plenty of slides and water features, and the water quality was good. It's perfect for kids; ours had an absolute blast. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, offering a wide variety of delicious food options. Our dining experience was excellent. The overall facilities are comprehensive, providing a fantastic resort feel. I highly recommend it for families, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Xunliao Bay!

LIANKAIThe room was very comfortable and the environment was great, facing the sea with an unobstructed view. We could see beautiful fireworks at night 🎆. The service was also excellent and very attentive, especially from Customer Service Manager Lynn Cai (蔡桂娥) who thoughtfully reminded us of various important details 👍. The 31st-floor infinity pool 🏊♀️🏊 offers an unbeatable view 😻. If I come back again, I'll definitely stay at Dusit Thani 😄.

FKYYYWe stayed for three days and had a butler named Xiao Hui who helped us with everything we needed, from dining to activities. The hotel has several restaurants, and the best one is called 'Dongshan Sea Chinese Restaurant.' Their set meals are very affordable; a set for two adults and one child was more than enough food. Our room was on a high floor with a sea view, no strange odors, and excellent hygiene. The facilities weren't old, and there was a small pool on the balcony. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and Aunt Xiu Yan always came to ask if I needed anything. She had a very kind smile and provided great service. There are many pools, but my favorite was the infinity pool, which overlooks the beach and the ocean – absolutely loved it, perfect for photos! The lobby has bubble blowing and a clown making balloons every afternoon, and there's a children's play area on the first floor. The hotel even has a KTV, but no massage services, unfortunately. Outside the hotel, there are many seafood restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, and milk tea shops nearby. If you don't want to walk, you can rent an electric scooter just outside the hotel for a reasonable price. When we left, a staff member named Sister Gao Li from the lobby helped us find our way to the hotel's afternoon tea and even gave us two small gifts. Our trip was so smooth and enjoyable because of all of you!

This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy, with very new and well-equipped facilities. The only minor issue is that it gets quite busy on weekends, especially the elevators and restaurants.
