Xiji County is about an hour's drive from downtown Guyuan. Since we planned to visit Huoshizhai and Xumi Mountain in one day, staying in Xiji County was more convenient. Our twin room was spacious, and the hotel thoughtfully joined the two beds, perfectly accommodating our family of two adults and one child. The front desk provided thoughtful touches like dental floss and eye masks. While the overall service was average, considering the value for money, it was still a good choice. It's also worth mentioning that the Xiji County Market is across from the hotel, offering a wide variety of affordable breakfast snacks that are more local than hotel breakfasts. This allows for flexible travel options, depending on your budget.

Find a quiet place to relax on the weekend. I found it unexpectedly. It was raining outside. The room was a transparent glass room. It was really romantic and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family run guesthouse. There is a lovely courtyard where you can relax and meet other guests. The breakfast was delicious. The decorations around the property are beautiful. The room was large, clean and well equipped. Our lovely host helped organise our taxi to the forest park, as well as our onward bus journey to Pingliang. We highly recommend this homestay.
