This is a well-established five-star hotel with an excellent location. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is friendly. It offers good value for money and is always my top choice when I visit Kunming.

It's very convenient for food, accommodation, and getting around. It's just a short walk to Kunming Oriental Plaza, Spring City 66 (the twin towers), Nanqiang Street, Nanping Street, Kunming Old Street, and Shuncheng Shopping Center. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and I highly recommend their flower cakes and 'Crossing the Bridge' noodles – they're delicious! 👍

Having stayed in numerous five-star hotels, both domestic and international, this one definitely has its highlights, but also some noticeable flaws:

1) **Location:** Extremely convenient. It's super easy to get anywhere from here.

2) **Ambiance:** It's right across from Cuihu Park, with beautiful lotus flowers, playful squirrels, and egrets returning to their nests in the evening. The hotel is also right by the famous Huang Gong Dong Street, which attracts many people for photos. The hotel rooms are very quiet, but on Huang Gong Dong Street, there are many paid photography services that hog the spots, making it hard to get a good photo yourself.

3) **Service:** Excellent. Everyone greets guests proactively, and the housekeeping staff are particularly friendly and helpful.

4) **Cleanliness:** Acceptable.

5) **Breakfast:** Quite varied, and the staff were quick to clear used dishes.

6) **Facilities:** This is where the significant flaws lie. The hotel rooms don't have a separate shower, only a bathtub. The bathtub looks quite old, and the showerhead attached to it was completely dysfunctional – no matter how I adjusted it, the water flow was all wrong. I ended up having to shower under a few strong, erratic jets, feeling like I was showering under a fountain for two days – quite a traumatic experience! 😅

7) **Overall:** If they could just replace that faulty showerhead with one that works properly, I would definitely stay here again. Also, while most five-star hotels don't typically have self-service laundry rooms, many guests here are tourists. Having a self-service laundry facility would be a huge plus!

I rarely leave reviews on Trip.com, but Kunming Haitian Hotel truly deserves a detailed one!

**Location:** The hotel is located right in the heart of Kunming, at the intersection of Tuodong Road and Beijing Road, near Tangzixiang Metro Station exits E and F (Lines 2 and 6). Exit E is just a short turn downstairs from the hotel, and Exit F is directly across the street. Whether by metro, taxi, or bus, getting around is incredibly convenient. Wujing Road, right next to the hotel, is a residential area with a variety of eateries and a small market. The strawberries and blueberries there were delicious and even better value than those at Donghua. There's also a great restaurant called 'Metro Exit Restaurant' near Exit F, serving good food – we ate there several times. The hotel is opposite the Kunming Public Security Bureau and behind either a police station or traffic police brigade, giving you a strong sense of security!

**Environment:** The lobby is elegant and grand, offering complimentary hot tea and water, and even has a designated indoor smoking area. The festive New Year's decorations were lovely, with horse-themed mini-games and DIY craft activities in the lobby, which were a big hit with the kids staying at the hotel. My daughter basically wanted to stay in the lobby doing crafts every day and didn't want to go back to the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym, both accessible with your room card. Drinking water is provided in both areas, and the gym even has clean towels – a very thoughtful touch.

**Cleanliness:** We booked a family twin room, which was spotless and tidy. The two 1.3-meter beds, pushed together, were perfectly spacious for two adults and two children. The bedding felt clean and fresh. The bathroom was family-friendly; the sink and toilet heights were just right for kids, and the faucet had a cute pink elephant attachment that prevented splashes. While the bathroom size was a bit compact, it was impeccably clean.

**Service:** Ex! Ce! Llent! The moment we stepped into the hotel, a young man quickly came forward to help us with our luggage. While checking in, a friendly young lady offered us hot tea. A special thank you to the Assistant Lobby Manager, who proactively helped us coordinate shuttle bus seats to Haigeng when our itinerary unexpectedly changed! Thanks to Mr. Kuang Hao, who promptly found an extension cord and brought it to our room, accompanied the children doing crafts every day, carefully looked after them, and politely declined my sincere New Year's red packet. My daughter specifically told me to give him a five-star review! And thanks to the driver who took us to Haigeng on the morning of the 21st – he enthusiastically recommended many routes to us; he was so warm and friendly. Thank you to every staff member we encountered during our six-day stay; each interaction was met with a smile, polite treatment, and a willingness to help with anything we needed.

This trip to Kunming was enjoyable and unforgettable, partly because we chose Haitian Hotel. Back to work tomorrow, but we'll try to see you again this summer!!

The room was spotless and well-maintained, feeling very new. It's super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to Metro Line 5. You can easily stroll to famous old restaurants like Kuiyuan Hall and Zhiweiyuan, and even walk to West Lake Scenic Area. It's a great choice whether you're traveling for leisure or business. Plus, the breakfast had a wide variety and tasted delicious!

We stayed at this hotel during the May Day holiday and were very satisfied. The suite was huge, with two bedrooms, a living room, and three bathrooms – the kids absolutely loved it. The cleaning staff were very proactive and kept the room spotless. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Hangzhou Railway Station, making transportation very convenient. The entrances to Metro Line 1 and Line 5 are within 100 meters, and it's also a short walk to attractions like Hu Xueyan's Former Residence. However, the seafood buffet dinner wasn't great; we went at 7 PM, and many dishes were already gone, with no refills. If you plan to go, I'd recommend getting there early. Overall, our stay was a very good experience.

I booked a smart king room, and the front desk staff upgraded me to a newly renovated suite from a few years ago. Since it was recently renovated, it was very clean – excellent! I always stay at Zhonghao when I go to Jinan; the environment is really good. Both the floor staff and front desk staff are very friendly. The breakfast offers a good variety, but it's not as good as before. The cleanliness of the tables really needs improvement; they were sticky and had oil stains.
