The room was spacious with a window, and being on the 14th floor, the view was fantastic. You needed to use your card to operate the elevator, which made me feel very secure. Right opposite the hotel is Cuihu Park, which is free to enter, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The hotel is located in the city center. To the right of the hotel is Huangdong Street, a vibrant area, especially when the jacaranda trees are in bloom, with many small cafes for visitors to relax in. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with high-quality offerings. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was also excellent; the dishes tasted great, the prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. I had all three meals at the hotel every day, which was clean and hygienic, with beautiful views of Cuihu Park from the window! This hotel is quite popular, and rooms book up quickly. I booked a week in advance and couldn't even extend my stay for an extra night. If you get a city view room, you can catch the sunrise. The most sought-after rooms are the lake view ones, which overlook Cuihu Park and offer stunning sunset views. If you want one, make sure to book well in advance! This hotel definitely deserves a 100/100 score!

Cleanliness: This was a highlight, truly spotless.
Environment: Excellent location, very convenient for getting around. Easy access to Kunming Old Street, Nanqiang Night Market, and shopping centers.
Service: Warm and efficient, with great attention to detail, showing a high level of professionalism. For instance, the elevators clearly indicate the floor, and the guest rooms even provide useful items like nail clippers.

I rarely leave reviews on Trip.com, but Kunming Haitian Hotel truly deserves a detailed one!

**Location:** The hotel is located right in the heart of Kunming, at the intersection of Tuodong Road and Beijing Road, near Tangzixiang Metro Station exits E and F (Lines 2 and 6). Exit E is just a short turn downstairs from the hotel, and Exit F is directly across the street. Whether by metro, taxi, or bus, getting around is incredibly convenient. Wujing Road, right next to the hotel, is a residential area with a variety of eateries and a small market. The strawberries and blueberries there were delicious and even better value than those at Donghua. There's also a great restaurant called 'Metro Exit Restaurant' near Exit F, serving good food – we ate there several times. The hotel is opposite the Kunming Public Security Bureau and behind either a police station or traffic police brigade, giving you a strong sense of security!

**Environment:** The lobby is elegant and grand, offering complimentary hot tea and water, and even has a designated indoor smoking area. The festive New Year's decorations were lovely, with horse-themed mini-games and DIY craft activities in the lobby, which were a big hit with the kids staying at the hotel. My daughter basically wanted to stay in the lobby doing crafts every day and didn't want to go back to the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym, both accessible with your room card. Drinking water is provided in both areas, and the gym even has clean towels – a very thoughtful touch.

**Cleanliness:** We booked a family twin room, which was spotless and tidy. The two 1.3-meter beds, pushed together, were perfectly spacious for two adults and two children. The bedding felt clean and fresh. The bathroom was family-friendly; the sink and toilet heights were just right for kids, and the faucet had a cute pink elephant attachment that prevented splashes. While the bathroom size was a bit compact, it was impeccably clean.

**Service:** Ex! Ce! Llent! The moment we stepped into the hotel, a young man quickly came forward to help us with our luggage. While checking in, a friendly young lady offered us hot tea. A special thank you to the Assistant Lobby Manager, who proactively helped us coordinate shuttle bus seats to Haigeng when our itinerary unexpectedly changed! Thanks to Mr. Kuang Hao, who promptly found an extension cord and brought it to our room, accompanied the children doing crafts every day, carefully looked after them, and politely declined my sincere New Year's red packet. My daughter specifically told me to give him a five-star review! And thanks to the driver who took us to Haigeng on the morning of the 21st – he enthusiastically recommended many routes to us; he was so warm and friendly. Thank you to every staff member we encountered during our six-day stay; each interaction was met with a smile, polite treatment, and a willingness to help with anything we needed.

This trip to Kunming was enjoyable and unforgettable, partly because we chose Haitian Hotel. Back to work tomorrow, but we'll try to see you again this summer!!

Nice hotel with a very good service..I would like to give compliment to Om Kumar who provide very good service to us..Breakfast has a wide variety and good combination of western and Chinese foods..only downside abt this hotel is the location which is quite far from the metro station. Walking to West Lake is also very far and around 40 minutes..not like what was mentioned around 20 minutes..

Booked this hotel for a Jay Chou concert in Hangzhou. The location is fantastic – the Metro Line 1 entrance is just 50 meters away, and Hangzhou Station is only 200 meters, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. Even though the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are very well-maintained, and the bedding is quite comfortable. It even has a swimming pool and a gym, so it offers good value for money.

I was very satisfied with my stay, especially with the warm pear juice prepared by Ms. Wang Panpan and Ms. Dou Liqun, which really helped soothe my sore throat. They also brought fresh fruit platters, the service was very thoughtful. The breakfast and buffet had a great variety of options; I tried Jinan's Bazirou (braised pork) and had Tianmo (a savory porridge).
