The room's cleanliness was, as always, excellent, and it was quite spacious. We booked a twin room, and the beds could be pushed together. However, the bathroom was exceptionally small, making it difficult to place toiletries, including cups and razors, freely.

There's a self-service laundry room and an ice machine. The room only provides two bottles of water, and there's no water purifier. Although the bathroom sign indicates the water is drinkable, it actually has a strong chlorine smell, which persists even after boiling. This isn't very practical for those accustomed to bottled mineral water or water purifiers in their home country.

All toiletries were provided, but I have two main complaints: the toothpaste came in a tiny 2x1 cm paper sachet, which was incredibly inconvenient – small, hard to tear open, and difficult to squeeze out. It was quite an experience! Secondly, unlike the first hotel we stayed at, there were no bath salts provided.

Transportation is extremely convenient, with Kyoto Station directly across the street.

Check-in was also easy, and our luggage was automatically stored by the front desk upon arrival.

If I come to Kyoto again, I'll definitely book Kyoto Good Nature! It was my husband's birthday on the day we checked in, which we hadn't mentioned beforehand. An expatriate man, possibly Indian, helped us check in. There was a slight communication barrier; he kept pointing at the room number and repeating things, and we just kept saying 'okay.' It wasn't until we got to the room after checking in that we realized he had upgraded us for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. It was late by then, and when I went back to the front desk to look for him, he was already gone. I really wanted to thank him for giving us the most beautiful room on this trip. The room was also very clean, and it's super convenient to get to Takashimaya. The public transportation nearby is excellent too. Honestly, there's not a single downside; I highly recommend it!

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The rooms are much more spacious than those in Tokyo and Osaka, with twin beds available. Each room has plenty of charging ports and the central air conditioning works great, providing strong cooling. The soundproofing is decent, and the cleanliness is excellent. A mini-fridge and a safe are also provided. The staff service is very good.

This hotel is located right opposite Kyoto Station, making it incredibly convenient for taking the subway, JR, or buses to various attractions. The front desk is on the 8th floor, and the top floor is the 9th. The room was very quiet, the air conditioning was sufficient, the water pressure was good, and the fridge was cold enough. There's a laundry room on the 7th floor, and it's cleaned daily.

The hotel is conveniently located directly across from JR Kyoto Station, making it super easy to find. The room size was decent, especially for the king-size bed I booked, which I really liked. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, particularly for JR lines – no need to rush at all. The absolute highlight was the breakfast! There was such a wide variety, including sushi 🍣, various alcoholic beverages, cheese, salads, and grilled meats. The restaurant faces the station, so I highly recommend opting for breakfast – it's excellent value, and the sushi was delicious. The service was great too, and the lobby offers complimentary water and even Sekkisei cosmetics, which was an amazing bonus!

Kyoto Century Hotel was one of our favorite hotels during our trip to Japan. We upgraded to one of the Kyoto-style rooms, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was incredibly spacious—especially by Japan standards—and beautifully designed with traditional touches.
One of our favorite features was the enormous king-size bed. It felt exceptionally large and was incredibly comfortable. The room also featured a tatami living area, so we removed our shoes before entering, which made the space feel authentic, cozy, and relaxing.
The bathroom was another highlight. It was much larger than we expected, with plenty of room to move around, making it feel more like a luxury hotel than a typical city hotel.
The breakfast buffet was good, though not the highlight of our stay. There was a decent variety of options, the coffee was very good, and it was a nice way to start the day.
The location is another major advantage, with Kyoto Station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city and travel to other destinations.
Overall, I highly recommend Kyoto Century Hotel, especially if you're able to upgrade to one of the Kyoto-style rooms. The spacious accommodations, traditional design, comfortable bed, and convenient location made it a memorable stay.

The Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex boasts an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, with spacious, modern-designed rooms, perfect for independent travelers. The staff are friendly and professional, and check-in and check-out processes are quick and smooth. With a plethora of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping facilities nearby, it's incredibly easy to visit major Kyoto attractions or embark on a Kansai trip. It's truly an accommodation option that offers both comfort and convenience.

This hotel is conveniently located not far from the right side of Kyoto Station, and the environment is excellent. For breakfast, they offer both Western and Japanese options, both of which are very good. The entire decor is quite unique, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.

The reception area is huge, with a simple yet elegant design, highlighted by a beautiful staircase that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The dining area is also quite simple, but the food selection was sufficient to give us enough energy for a fun and exciting day at Universal Studios Japan (USJ). The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day. The toilet and shower area were very clean, although there was a slight odor whenever the water was turned on or the toilet was flushed. I'm not sure what caused it, but we experienced the same issue at our previous hotel as well. Fortunately, Keihan provided a toilet deodorizing spray, which was a thoughtful touch. One of my favorite features was the hair dryer and hair straightener provided in the room. They were of excellent quality and very convenient to use. The hotel's location is fantastic. It has its own direct access to Universal CityWalk and is also very convenient for reaching USJ. I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The staff were easy to communicate with, friendly, and all spoke English, which made our stay even more enjoyable. 

The only downside was the steam bath on the 31st floor, which requires an additional fee. Personally, I think this should be included as part of the hotel's amenities and made complimentary for all guests.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, excellent facilities, and outstanding location near USJ.

The location is pretty good. From Kansai Airport, you take the Nankai line directly to Namba, and then it's about a 10-minute walk. That 10-minute walk actually takes you through Namba City, so every time you come and go, you're essentially doing a bit of shopping. It's not super close, but not too far either, and on days with pleasant weather, the walk is no big deal. Walking to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi is also not far, around 20 minutes. The hotel lobby offers complimentary soft drinks, Starbucks coffee, cocoa, and more. Toiletries, including Sekkisei products, are available for self-service next to the front desk, and they even provide hair ties, coffee, and tea bags, which is a nice, thoughtful touch. A liter box of drinking water is provided in the room daily. The bathroom has excellent wet and dry separation, which is a huge plus for this price point and location – no need to stand in the tub to shower!

The location is fantastic, making getting around and shopping incredibly convenient. There's a subway station and bus stop right across from the hotel's main entrance, so public transport to anywhere is a breeze. Osaka Castle is within walking distance, and various shopping malls are just across the street from the hotel, making shopping super easy. The room size is generous, quite spacious for a Japanese hotel, so you won't feel cramped during your stay. The only downside is that the hotel's breakfast only offers Western options with no Japanese dishes, which might be a bit disappointing for travelers hoping to experience a traditional Japanese breakfast. Overall, it offers great value for money and is a top choice for accommodation when traveling.

This hotel is really convenient, super close to JR Kyobashi Station, and there's a mall nearby for shopping. They also offer luggage storage and a laundry service for 500 yen (wash and dry). A young male staff member at the front desk (with slightly curly hair) was exceptionally helpful. On the evening of the 28th, I couldn't open a washing machine in the laundry room that had been used by a previous guest. He helped me open it and even showed me how to use it. I'm so grateful to him! The hotel service is excellent, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osaka!

We loved this location so much! 7/11 right underneath, family mart around the corner - we went to 7/11 every morning and night, haha! It is a really nice area to walk around in at night! There is a beautiful bridge over the river. 

The Yodoyabashi subway station (at exit/entrance 19) is a 45 second walk from the hotel. 

They clean the rooms everyday unless you put the do not disturb magnet up! 

(The ONE thing we want to note about this hotel is that the rooms seemingly have very little airflow or capacity for hang drying clothes.)

I was a bit worried seeing the mixed reviews online for this hotel, but I booked it anyway because the price was really good – a single room for less than 300 RMB a night.

Turns out, the location is super convenient. Tenmabashi Station has two subway lines and the Keihan Railway, which can take you directly to central Kyoto. You can also take the Keihan Railway to visit Nakanoshima in Osaka. Apparently, there's even a direct train from Kansai Airport, but I didn't catch it because the timing didn't work out.

The hotel entrance has some steps, but you can call staff for help with your luggage. Toiletries are self-serve, and the best part is the free water available – that's a nice touch. The room facilities are pretty standard for a Japanese business hotel. The room felt a bit dry, and I couldn't find a humidifier in the common areas.

This was our second stay here, and it's super close to Tsukiji subway station – just turn the corner after exiting via 3a. Getting around is really convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and downstairs they provide daily cleaning supplies, including makeup remover, which was a thoughtful touch! There’s a small supermarket right near the hotel, making it easy to pick up daily essentials. It's only a 15-minute walk straight to Ginza. For Akihabara, it's just 5 stops directly on the Hibiya Line. Perfect for us anime fans!

Cons:
1.  We booked a newly renovated room, and the smell was incredibly strong! If you're sensitive to smells, do not book this room.
2.  The initial cleaning was poorly done; there was dust everywhere, and the air conditioning vents blew out dirt.
3.  Our suitcase couldn't be fully opened due to the room's layout, which was a bit impractical, even though the room itself wasn't small.

Pros: The newly renovated Japanese-style room has great potential and is likely to become popular. It's close to the subway station, with Don Quijote and a shopping street behind it, and a 7-Eleven downstairs.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Shinjuku, and the breakfast is pretty good too. The room layout and space are well-designed and practical, and it's fully equipped with everything you need. You can pick up toiletries from the first floor if you need them. It's super convenient for getting to places like Ginza.
