The room's cleanliness was, as always, excellent, and it was quite spacious. We booked a twin room, and the beds could be pushed together. However, the bathroom was exceptionally small, making it difficult to place toiletries, including cups and razors, freely.

There's a self-service laundry room and an ice machine. The room only provides two bottles of water, and there's no water purifier. Although the bathroom sign indicates the water is drinkable, it actually has a strong chlorine smell, which persists even after boiling. This isn't very practical for those accustomed to bottled mineral water or water purifiers in their home country.

All toiletries were provided, but I have two main complaints: the toothpaste came in a tiny 2x1 cm paper sachet, which was incredibly inconvenient – small, hard to tear open, and difficult to squeeze out. It was quite an experience! Secondly, unlike the first hotel we stayed at, there were no bath salts provided.

Transportation is extremely convenient, with Kyoto Station directly across the street.

Check-in was also easy, and our luggage was automatically stored by the front desk upon arrival.

If I come to Kyoto again, I'll definitely book Kyoto Good Nature! It was my husband's birthday on the day we checked in, which we hadn't mentioned beforehand. An expatriate man, possibly Indian, helped us check in. There was a slight communication barrier; he kept pointing at the room number and repeating things, and we just kept saying 'okay.' It wasn't until we got to the room after checking in that we realized he had upgraded us for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. It was late by then, and when I went back to the front desk to look for him, he was already gone. I really wanted to thank him for giving us the most beautiful room on this trip. The room was also very clean, and it's super convenient to get to Takashimaya. The public transportation nearby is excellent too. Honestly, there's not a single downside; I highly recommend it!

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The rooms are much more spacious than those in Tokyo and Osaka, with twin beds available. Each room has plenty of charging ports and the central air conditioning works great, providing strong cooling. The soundproofing is decent, and the cleanliness is excellent. A mini-fridge and a safe are also provided. The staff service is very good.

The hotel is conveniently located directly across from JR Kyoto Station, making it super easy to find. The room size was decent, especially for the king-size bed I booked, which I really liked. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, particularly for JR lines – no need to rush at all. The absolute highlight was the breakfast! There was such a wide variety, including sushi 🍣, various alcoholic beverages, cheese, salads, and grilled meats. The restaurant faces the station, so I highly recommend opting for breakfast – it's excellent value, and the sushi was delicious. The service was great too, and the lobby offers complimentary water and even Sekkisei cosmetics, which was an amazing bonus!

I booked this hotel near Kyoto Station, about a 15-minute train ride from the venue, to watch the fireworks show at Lake Biwa!

Needless to say, it's in a superb location, right across from the central ticket gate, past the bus terminal. It was a huge relief not to have to drag my suitcase around in the hot Kyoto summer!

After the fireworks, I got a bit lost in the crowded Kyoto Station trying to find the hotel. I asked a volunteer who was helping with crowd control, and they immediately pointed me in the right direction, telling me it was near Kyoto Tower!

The room was a bit small, but it had enough depth that I could still open my suitcase without a problem.

Plus, there are lockers to store your luggage even after check-out, so you can leave your bags there, enjoy your sightseeing comfortably, and pick them up before heading home.

The convenient location and not having to carry my luggage around too much made for a very comfortable stay. I'd definitely like to stay here again next time I visit Kyoto!

Extremely satisfied with this hotel. Traveling with elderly parents and children, we landed in Osaka and headed straight to Kyoto, so we chose a hotel within walking distance from the station, making it easy to manage our luggage. It's only a three-minute walk from the train station (you can see it right after exiting and turning right). The room, while not huge, was incredibly cozy and didn't feel cheap like some budget hotels. The staff were very friendly; my partner loves tea and would ask for extra water daily, which they always provided for free. During our stay, we rarely saw other Chinese guests; it was mostly Western and local guests, and breakfast was always quiet. There are tons of restaurants near the hotel (a sushi place within a five-minute walk was super delicious and great value for money). Plus, there's Isetan department store right next to the station for shopping – it couldn't be more convenient! A taxi from the hotel to Kiyomizu-dera Temple cost about 1800 JPY, and to Takashimaya, it was roughly the same price. At 9 PM, you can enter the station and take the escalator to the top for a free panoramic view of Kyoto's nightscape. All in all, I'm very satisfied and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex boasts an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, with spacious, modern-designed rooms, perfect for independent travelers. The staff are friendly and professional, and check-in and check-out processes are quick and smooth. With a plethora of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping facilities nearby, it's incredibly easy to visit major Kyoto attractions or embark on a Kansai trip. It's truly an accommodation option that offers both comfort and convenience.

Great location right next to Kyoto station. Very beautiful lobby and huge room. No view as it is in a small street to the side of Kyoto station. Very convenient and next to taxi station. The hotel believes in sustainability so all your amenities like toothbrush and paste, shavers etc need to be requested on the iPad or asked at reception. There is a Lawson and 711 within a minute from the hotel.

The reception area is huge, with a simple yet elegant design, highlighted by a beautiful staircase that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The dining area is also quite simple, but the food selection was sufficient to give us enough energy for a fun and exciting day at Universal Studios Japan (USJ). The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day. The toilet and shower area were very clean, although there was a slight odor whenever the water was turned on or the toilet was flushed. I'm not sure what caused it, but we experienced the same issue at our previous hotel as well. Fortunately, Keihan provided a toilet deodorizing spray, which was a thoughtful touch. One of my favorite features was the hair dryer and hair straightener provided in the room. They were of excellent quality and very convenient to use. The hotel's location is fantastic. It has its own direct access to Universal CityWalk and is also very convenient for reaching USJ. I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The staff were easy to communicate with, friendly, and all spoke English, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was the steam bath on the 31st floor, which requires an additional fee. Personally, I think this should be included as part of the hotel's amenities and made complimentary for all guests.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, excellent facilities, and outstanding location near USJ.

The hygiene was excellent, but the triple room was very cramped, making it impossible to open large suitcases. The separate toilet and shower room were good, much more comfortable than combined bathrooms. My biggest complaint was the breakfast, which was Italian cold cuts with no Japanese options at all. Across the street, there's a mall with Uniqlo, Muji, stationery, and a drug store, but the selection isn't huge, so you'll still need to go to larger department stores for serious shopping. The subway directly across the street goes straight to Kyoto, and the airport bus stop is also nearby, but you need to reserve seats in advance. If you plan to take it, go to the platform beforehand to check it out and scan the QR code to book your seat.

The location is pretty good. From Kansai Airport, you take the Nankai line directly to Namba, and then it's about a 10-minute walk. That 10-minute walk actually takes you through Namba City, so every time you come and go, you're essentially doing a bit of shopping. It's not super close, but not too far either, and on days with pleasant weather, the walk is no big deal. Walking to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi is also not far, around 20 minutes. The hotel lobby offers complimentary soft drinks, Starbucks coffee, cocoa, and more. Toiletries, including Sekkisei products, are available for self-service next to the front desk, and they even provide hair ties, coffee, and tea bags, which is a nice, thoughtful touch. A liter box of drinking water is provided in the room daily. The bathroom has excellent wet and dry separation, which is a huge plus for this price point and location – no need to stand in the tub to shower!

I stayed at this hotel a few days before coming to Osaka, and then again on my last day before heading back. The best part is its proximity to the subway station; JR and Hankyu Kyobashi stations are right downstairs. It's not a very touristy area, which means you can find some fantastic deals at second-hand shops – for example, I snagged a Descente windbreaker for about 400 RMB. It's also a direct, 2-minute ride to the Kadoma Outlet. Plus, there are drugstores and Don Quijote branches nearby that aren't packed with tourists. That white suitcase in the picture? It's a Japanese brand I got for almost 300 RMB after a 60% discount – an absolute steal! The hotel itself is very clean, and they were kind enough to store my luggage for four days, which was incredibly thoughtful. I'll definitely be back next time.

The hotel is located in a quiet business district with a Family Mart, Lawson, and a small pub nearby. It's close to the subway exit, but you do have to walk a bit underground. It took me a while to find it on the first day, but exit 21 is indeed the closest. The room was clean and tidy, though a bit small – you can only fully open one large suitcase. Water and toiletries are available in the lobby. Check-in is self-service, but the front desk staff are happy to help if needed. It's also within walking distance of Nakanoshima. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money.

I was a bit worried seeing the mixed reviews online for this hotel, but I booked it anyway because the price was really good – a single room for less than 300 RMB a night.

Turns out, the location is super convenient. Tenmabashi Station has two subway lines and the Keihan Railway, which can take you directly to central Kyoto. You can also take the Keihan Railway to visit Nakanoshima in Osaka. Apparently, there's even a direct train from Kansai Airport, but I didn't catch it because the timing didn't work out.

The hotel entrance has some steps, but you can call staff for help with your luggage. Toiletries are self-serve, and the best part is the free water available – that's a nice touch. The room facilities are pretty standard for a Japanese business hotel. The room felt a bit dry, and I couldn't find a humidifier in the common areas.

the location is convenient with just a corner away from the metro exit with a lift for luggage. theres lawson FM and 7-11 and supermarket in the area all within 1-2 corners. it is walkable to tsukiji market and ginza area with lots of shopping food and coffee. staff was friendly and lobby was inviting. the room is cleaned everyday. n

I stayed at the Keihan Hotel Tokyo Asakusa for 4 days, and overall, it was a great experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, being very close to both the subway and bus stops, which made getting around incredibly convenient.

There are plenty of convenience stores and various shops nearby, making daily errands and dining very easy.

The room was clean, tidy, and brightly lit, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also delicious with a good selection.

The only minor drawback was the absence of an ice machine, which made getting ice a bit inconvenient.

Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for visitors exploring Asakusa. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Shinjuku, and the breakfast is pretty good too. The room layout and space are well-designed and practical, and it's fully equipped with everything you need. You can pick up toiletries from the first floor if you need them. It's super convenient for getting to places like Ginza.
