"I asked for rooms to be nextdoor to each other when I booked. They put me and my daughter on the 6th floor, and put my husband and two boys on the 4th floor. Went to Reception Monday morning, it took them two days to make a change. The room my daughter and I had changed to, had little wall-lamps; one of them was hanging off, with wires poking out. And had a smell in the bathroom. Complained about the issues, nothing was done. Night before checkout, we asked about keeping a room for an hour on the day of checkout, and also about using a courtesy-room too. They told us to come back in the morning. On checkout day, before we even checked out of the rooms; they turned off the water so none of us could have a shower or brush our teeth. We asked about keeping one of our rooms on for another hour, we got told 'No' because the hotel was fully booked. We left our luggage in a luggage-room, then went in the town for some hours. When we got back, we asked about the courtesy-room again, we got told 'No'; that we had to make a booking for a room at 6:00PM. They never told us we had to book it at 6:00PM. As well, the food wasn't great. The staff weren't helpful either."

"We’ve just returned from our 3rd holiday at this hotel & it was just as wonderful as the previous stays. Located right near Poniente Beach, the sea view rooms offer beautiful views of the beach & Benidorm’s skyline. The rooms are spacious as are the balconies, got to love a balcony, it’s a must! The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The Torre Dorada is a smaller hotel in comparison to its neighbouring hotel, however, this, to us only adds to its appeal. The friendly welcome when you arrive, the relaxed atmosphere, there’s no rushing, no stressing. The staff are wonderful. Vincenta at the restaurant, so delightful, we were pleased to see her again. The restaurant staff always on hand to deliver the best service. The food is, delicious, and of good variety . It’s no good being on a diet, the puddings are just too good to miss! The animation team do a great job keeping kids & adults entertained, great job guys🤗 There is some construction works happening in the surrounding area of the hotel but we never heard anything. The hotel location is also far away from the new town, so you’re unlikely to hear any roudy drunk people or groups about, we never have. It’s also situated on a slight incline/hill, so if you have mobility issues you may struggle. Finestrat is another lovely little place, about a 5-10 min walk from the hotel, it has a smaller beach and some shops, bars & restaurants, well worth a visit. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, the pool is big & there are always plenty of sunbeds so none of that sunbeds fiasco that you hear of at some places. We’ll be back!!"

"I had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I asked for a room with a sea view, and they kindly upgraded me to a room on the 35th floor with a stunning panoramic view of both the sea and the entire city. During a city-wide power outage that lasted the whole day, the hotel continued to operate as usual with full electricity, while other hotels were left completely in the dark. I was truly impressed and very satisfied with my stay!"

"Last night tonight home tomorrow, hotel lovely and clean very efficient staff very help full can’t do enough for you Great location 5 minutes away from shops in old town 2 minutes away from local bus service and at 2 euro no matter how far you travel Nice friendly atmosphere in hotel food very nice drinks good price (only no free water at dinner or evening meal) unless you are all inclusive Rooms cleaned daily general cleanliness of hotel excellent always staff around cleaning to keep everything ship shape Noise level very good for saying a lot of people stay here Would well recommend for anybody wanting a good value for money holiday We are in room 1205 overlooking pool and distant sea view 12th floor plenty of lifts no long waits really enjoyed our holiday well done to all the staff here"

"Although this is possibly the most beautiful hotel I have seen with beautiful bedrooms, pools, food & charming staff there is one thing I cannot fathom. Why is there no music in the evening ? Every night I had to leave the hotel after dinner (when I didn't want to leave the hotel) to find some entertainment. I know the ethos is zen but if children screaming can pierce the tranquility then surely a classy singer in a corner of the site would only enhance the stay. Also the hotel shut for a conference while I was there cutting our trip short, very frustrating. That said an almost perfect hotel let down by the dull evenings where only one bar on the massive site opened & no music/ents were an option"
