Beach Hotels in Da Nang

Pros: 1. The hotel's natural environment is excellent, offering sightings of incredibly rare protected animals. They also provide a free wildlife tour, which I highly recommend. It's a fantastic experience to simply walk around the hotel and spot monkeys foraging. 2. The service is outstanding. The hotel staff are attentive and very considerate of guests. The welcome drink was delicious. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and I received a room upgrade with a great view and a spacious layout. 3. The slippers were very comfortable. The breakfast tableware was exquisite. Cons for me: 1. The claim of being the 'most beautiful Intercontinental' is an exaggeration. Some areas even felt [as pictured], though I suppose one could call it 'unique.' Personally, I found it gaudy. 2. I strongly recommend including executive lounge access. If you arrive early, since there's no air conditioning in the public areas, the only cool indoor space to relax is the executive lounge. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting in the hotel lobby, and elderly guests and children need to be careful to avoid heatstroke. 3. The breakfast was delicious, and the fruit quality was high. However, it's baffling why the other restaurants were so bad. After reading reviews that even the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant wasn't great, I booked a package that included dinner. I paid extra to change the dishes, but they were still terrible. It was arguably the worst meal I had in Vietnam. 4. Although the hotel was uncrowded and had a good environment, the beach quality was very average, and the loungers by the sea started closing down every day at 6 PM. In summary, I think this Intercontinental is worth staying at, but don't go in with exceptionally high expectations.

This place is peaceful. We went to Hoi An center and almost turned back because of the crowds. The room is spacious and has a bathtub! Cleaning and water replenishment are done daily. Free bikes are available, it's a 10-minute ride to the sea and a bit longer to Hoi An. There are many cool, quiet spots nearby: rice paddies, coconut villages, and a vegetable garden – ride around as much as you like! There's a pool, spa, and a cafe at the hotel entrance, all very cozy. The breakfasts are excellent, varied, and delicious! Across the road, you can take a coconut boat ride for 100,000 VND (about $4). I recommend it.

A wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Da Nang. When I booked, I thought the room decor looked a bit outdated, but that's not the case at all! The room is fantastic: high ceilings, comfortable mattresses, and solid hardwood furniture. In the evenings, they bring small treats like dried fruit. The breakfasts are incredibly varied, offering both European and traditional Vietnamese dishes, various coffees, and even ice cream. The food at the beach bar is also excellent. The price is high compared to other 4-5 star hotels in Vietnam. Here, you experience tranquility and relaxation, with many areas for unwinding (pools, hammocks, bean bags). There's also a kids' club. If you want to dive into the chaos and vibrant city life, it's about a 15-20 minute drive, and taxis arrive quickly. There are only 16 sun loungers on the beach, but you can always find a spot, as most guests are European and Korean, with few Russian speakers who tend to occupy loungers all day. The spa center is top-notch.

The hotel overall is dated but not old. It has everything that you are looking for but not on a 5 Star level. The service is average, everyone is friendly and helpful and more like a 4 Star rather than a 5 Star level. We stayed at the beachfront deluxe room and it was lovely being close to the ocean. The breakfast was amazing and had a big variety of options. The location is great right by the ocean and about 10 minutes into HoiAn old town. Good value for money!

Service - Great service. Whatsapp group was created where any help can be easily communicated with hotel staff. Room - nice ocean and water park view, decent sized tub. A little odd layout whereby the wardrobe is near entrance, so one coming out of bath need to walk past tv and to the entrance. Free daily beer and pepsi is a nice touch. Food - the room service food is quite nice which we enjoyed. The breakfast buffet is so-so, especially the spare restaurant if the blue restaurant (where the breakfast is) is full. Activities - indoor/outdoor water park is nice, water fountain and sometimes fire show/fireworks are cool, buggy access to beach.

Honestly, this room isn't worth 1600 RMB a night, but since my friend was holding their wedding here, I had no choice but to stay. The pros: The hotel's location is excellent, with a private beach and beautiful gardens – all top-notch facilities. The cons: The room itself is roughly on par with a more upscale Atour Hotel back home. The bathtub leaked, the toilet seat wobbled every time you sat on it, the ceiling fan switch couldn't be turned off, and the space wasn't very big. Even the slippers were like those disposable paper ones you find in a Home Inn. So, in summary, the room itself isn't worth the price, but the exterior scenery is absolutely stunning and definitely worth it. Check-in at the front desk was very slow, but the service attitude was excellent.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is easy to find, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The room had no strange odors when I entered, and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The bed was just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was excellent, so I slept very peacefully at night. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out. They were also very responsive to requests, which showed great attention to detail. For the price, the value for money is outstanding. It’s perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose this place again next time!

The hotel is cleaned and comfortable, breakfast does not meet 5 stars standard and the same food every day. In room facilities is not completed upon request for cloth iron and sewing kit, front desk said not available.

My stay at the Sandy Beach Resort in Đà Nẵng was absolutely wonderful. The room was not only big but also spotlessly clean, and it offered the best view of the sunrise I’ve ever seen—waking up to that every morning was pure magic. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to start the day right. The location is great too: it only takes about 15 minutes to reach the core beach, where you can enjoy jetskiing, parasailing, and other fun water activities. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family, this resort is a fantastic choice. I will definitely revisit!

It is a solid place. The room was nice. Two beds. Nice view from the window. The sheets were clean and smelled nice. Wi-Fi was fast. Drawer is enough for clothes even though there are not enough hangers. There are small insects on the furniture (table) but you can ask for repellent or spray that kills them for a long time. There is a kettle and daily water, tea and coffee. There is also a fridge. Service was great. Any issue and question was resolved speedily. Fun fact. There is special massage on the second floor with the 1.4 million starting price. Btw if your shower hot water does not work, check fuse and turn it on (upwards).
