Peninsula Hotel Danang

We stayed at Peninsula hotel in Da Nang for 3 nights and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception,  housekeeping, concierge and all staff at the Veranda Restaurant did their best to make our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed. We booked a King room with the ocean view and the room was very spacious, modern, comfortable and quiet. The view from our room is the best ocean view we have ever experienced. The infinity pool on 27th floor is the best  in this hotel. There is a beach located opposite the hotel and it was a bit challenging for us to cross the road due to the busy traffic. The breakfast was excellent at Verandah restaurant, where there are variety of food to choose from and the quality is above average. I like the Asian section of the breakfast the most where you can get a freshly cooked noodles soup like pho, Hue beef noodles soup, steamed white lotus. The hotel is located 20 mins walk to My Khe  Beach where you can find plenty of bbq, seafood restaurants, pub, and cafe etc. We will certainly stay at Peninsula Hotel if we visit Da Nang again.

Firstly, this is not "The Peninsula" luxury brand. This is only a single hotel building named after it. The location and view were perfect tho. However, I had terrible experiences with the receptionists and the F&B breakfast services. On the first day checking in, the receiptionist told us that we could use the Royal Lounge on the top floor. When we arrived there on the next morning, the F&B staff told us that we are not allowed to use the lounge but only the restaurant located on the 3/F. We then spoke to the front desk supervisor that night to clarify the situation. She told us there was a misunderstanding, and we could use the lounge for the next morning before we checkout as a recovery. Disappointingly, we were once again stopped by the staff in the next morning.

For a non-big brand chain hotel, Penisula Hotel is top notch. The view from the sea view rooms are AMAZING! The rooms are huge and clean! All amenities provided. The beach is right across the road. The hotel staffs will even help you cross the road. Hotel breakfast is amazing, they even have afternoon tea. I enjoyed every moment at this hotel. Only cons about the hotel is being situated right next to the road, you do get traffic noise. I will come back again!

Checking in was a breeze. The staffs are friendly and helpful and they spoke good English. Room are clean and the amenities are excellent. Room partially overlooking beach and city. Breathtaking view of the ocean and long stretch of the beach. Breakfast was at premium lounge on the 28th floor and a choice of foot bath or sauna. Located near convenience stores and eateries. Will come back and stay at Peninsula Hotel.
