Beach Hotels in Pattaya

I stayed here 10 years ago and loved it. This time, I brought my daughter to experience it, and the front desk service was excellent. For the buffet dinner, if you can read Chinese, **DO NOT EAT THERE! DO NOT EAT THERE! DO NOT EAT THERE!** The only seafood available was large river prawns, and they weren't fresh. We chose the mid-priced option, which was about 400 HKD. The oysters were not fresh, and surprisingly, breakfast had more food options than dinner. After eating, both my husband and I got gastroenteritis, and the restaurant staff had a bad attitude! For the deposit, I used a credit card, but the front desk didn't mention it when I checked out. I had to remember to ask about it afterwards, and they couldn't process an immediate refund!!!! The quality has declined significantly, the facilities are old, and it's not as good as it used to be.

This must be my third time at this hotel. I'm not sure if it's due to cost-cutting, but now they only provide one room key. A year ago, even when I was alone, I received two cards. However, the hotel's service is still excellent; any issue you have will be resolved immediately. The hotel is located right next to the Pattaya Immigration Office, making it easy to find. It's also close to the beach and the night market, and a new McDonald's has opened nearby, so the amenities are great.

I stayed at Cape Dara Resort Hotel Pattaya for 4 days and 3 nights. Every staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant and pool, was incredibly attentive, professional, and polite. The room was spotlessly clean and offered panoramic views of Pattaya Beach and the pool. The environment was clean and quiet, making for a very comfortable vacation. The bathtub in the room faced the beach and sea, providing a peaceful and relaxing soak with a beautiful view. The balcony also offered stunning sea views, perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. The room was exceptionally clean, the surroundings were serene, and I slept wonderfully at night. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant offered a wide and varied selection, and dining with the beach and sea view was delightful. This resort-style hotel is very spacious, featuring a gym, two pools right by the beach, a spa, and free shuttle services to the city center and Pattaya Beach Road Walking Street. It's incredibly convenient for guests. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the large Terminal 21 shopping mall and many nearby restaurants. I had a very enjoyable stay.

After an upgrade, the room was decent, but I wouldn't recommend booking the basic room type at this hotel. We originally booked the 'Deluxe King Room' because we planned to be out all day. However, the room was old and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, a family member got a fever and needed to stay in the room, so we asked the front desk to switch us to the same room type on a higher floor, which was noticeably better in all aspects. * The staff were all very friendly and always helpful. * The facilities are excellent, with several swimming pools, including one with a small waterslide. The adult pool almost connects to the beach. * Just across the street from the hotel, you'll find Terminal 21 and a night market, making it convenient for dining and shopping. * Ctrip was fantastic! I was unhappy with the old room and contacted Ctrip to negotiate a refund for one night. Although the hotel didn't agree, they offered another solution, which was a pleasant surprise and ultimately helped us achieve the relaxation and enjoyment we wanted from our vacation. * Rooms with sea views and balconies are definitely worth it! The balconies are spacious and comfortable. * The breakfast is extensive, featuring live grilled meats, sushi, Cantonese dim sum (siew mai, custard buns, and char siu buns), yogurt, ice cream scoops, and more, with daily variations.

Right downstairs is the newly opened Pattaya Plane & Ferris Wheel Night Market. The beach is a 2-minute walk away, where you can paraglide. The hotel has two buildings, and the pool is absolutely fantastic – huge, perfect for swimming whether it's sunny or not, and there's a splash area for kids too. Breakfast is also great!!

The room was decent, and the cleanliness was good, pretty much as others have mentioned – a bit old-fashioned. However, the unbeatable ocean view from the balcony made up for everything. Facilities: Good, all complete, with a bathtub and shower. Environment: Absolutely fantastic. Service: Average. The shower gel ran out and wasn't refilled promptly. I had to go to the front desk to get more myself, as no one brought it to the room. The upside is how incredibly close it is to the sea.

I got exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a hotel with a distinct Thai character. The hotel is clean and has nice rooms. We used the pool with all its beautiful plants daily. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. We used the restaurant multiple times in the afternoons and were satisfied. It was important to me to be away from the intense hustle and bustle. The flaws mentioned multiple times here are ridiculous. On one hand, the wooden pool surround is badly damaged, and on the other hand, the coffee machine is completely broken. I knew both of these things beforehand and actually found them amusing. Such minor details have nothing to do with money, but rather with Thai management. Overall, it's good value for money. I would happily come back.

We had an excellent stay at Pullman Pattaya Hotel G. It is a wonderful choice for a family holiday. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, comfortable rooms, great pools and a lovely beachfront area. Everything is well maintained and very convenient. A special mention goes to the staff — everyone was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The service was excellent throughout our visit. We stayed for more than a week and truly felt comfortable and relaxed. The whole family enjoyed the hotel, and we would definitely choose Pullman Pattaya Hotel G again on our next trip to Pattaya. Highly recommended!

Pros: Quiet location, good service from staff. The swimming pool is clean, and the water doesn't cause itching. It has a private beach from which you can walk to the Sanctuary of Truth. The balcony is very spacious but there's no fan or tap. In-room snacks are free. The air conditioning is cold. There's Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. The bathroom is large with a bathtub. You can paddle a boat at the beach. Cons: The entrance road is rough and inconvenient. Food options are far away. During holidays, parking is difficult, though there is a shuttle service, which is good. Buildings right by the sea are good for staying. Buildings not by the sea have many issues. On higher floors, the water pressure in the bathroom is low. The swimming pool has no playground equipment, so children don't enjoy it much. The sea water isn't inviting for swimming. Food is a bit expensive. The sound of dragging items can be heard loudly throughout the room. Overall, it's good value for money. If you come, prepare a cooler and bring your own food, as it's hard to find and you'll have to go out to buy it. Then, upon returning, there's no parking. It's suitable for those who like peace and quiet. Those who prefer convenience and proximity to tourist attractions might find it less ideal.

Great location and reasonable price! It's right by the seafront, which makes it easy to get around. Plus, it's super convenient to catch the coastal songthaew. The room is spacious, and the AC works wonderfully, keeping it nice and cool. If you're a light sleeper, the music from the nearby entertainment area might bother you, but then again, isn't that part of the Pattaya experience? You probably have to consider both the hotel's location and Pattaya's overall vibe. As a heavy sleeper myself, I slept like a baby! They take a 1000 baht cash deposit which is returned upon check-out. There are 7-Elevens everywhere – front, side, and back – making it easy to grab anything you need. Thanks to this place, I had a fantastic time in Pattaya. I'll definitely be back! 🤗
