Beach Hotels in Pattaya

The downside is the view from the window isn't great and the hotel is a bit dated, but the location is excellent.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The hotel's surroundings are very convenient, with 7-Eleven stores on both sides when you step out. You can also take a songthaew towards the beach, and there are plenty of food options and massage places. Walking along the beach is also very relaxing. If you're looking to unwind, this is a great choice.

The rooms aren't luxurious but they are renovated. I'd read online that the air conditioning was notoriously loud, so I mentally prepared myself and brought earplugs. Turns out it wasn't as loud as I'd imagined. The bedding was comfortable, the curtains blocked out all light, and I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or the next room. We pushed the two queen-sized beds together to make a super king-sized bed, so we slept really well. The water play was incredible! There were multiple interconnected pools, including big and small slides, some of which were quite thrilling. There was a diving pool, a lazy river, a pool for basketball, a swim-up bar, a splash area for toddlers, and you could even go into the sea to play in the waves. It catered to everyone's needs. Oh, and the gym was huge, well-equipped, and not crowded at all! The kids' club is great for toddlers. My 6-year-old son also enjoyed playing with the younger kids there. You can drop them off for an hour at a time, and it's free! Lost World is also a fantastic place for kids. The half-day ticket gives you four hours from when you first enter, and we managed two rounds on the zip line. It was a bit of a shame that the trampoline area was under maintenance. There's an indoor arcade and a movie area with free popcorn and slushies, which is a lifesaver for parents. The breakfast was pretty good, with a rich variety of options that changed slightly every day, catering to different tastes. Plus, you could eat until 11 AM. This is a highly recommended place for a family vacation.

I extended my stay for two more days, and I'm very satisfied with this hotel. Before coming, I compared several major platforms, and many reviews mentioned the hotel was old, which made me quite worried. However, after looking at many other hotels, considering the location (on Pattaya Beach, near Terminal 21), the hotel environment (pool, beach, especially having its own private beach so you don't have to cross the road), and the room rate, I still chose this place. I felt it still had that resort hotel vibe. A Ferrari is still a Ferrari, even when it's old, and I made the right choice. When I extended my stay, I found out that my previous room had actually been upgraded, and after some coordination, I was able to stay in the same room. The front desk staff was very nice, the room was clean, the sea view was beautiful, and it was peaceful despite being in a lively area. The street noise in Thailand can be quite intense, but I rested very comfortably here.

The hotel is in a very busy area. At night, the noise from the shops down the alley is really loud, but surprisingly, the room itself was quieter than I expected – I couldn't hear any noise from downstairs. The room always had a faint, pleasant scent. It was spacious, and the bathroom was large with a comfortable bathtub for soaking. You could also see a distant sea view. The breakfast offered a lot of variety; some dishes were delicious, some were just okay, and some weren't very good. The downsides were that the hairdryer was incredibly weak (only 1200W, and even on setting 3, the airflow was very low). Also, I couldn't adjust the air conditioning; I'm not sure if it was actually adjustable. Overall, it was very good.

We got a promotional price of only 987 baht, including a buffet breakfast, which was excellent value for money considering everything we received 💸✨. 📍 The location is great, right by Dongtan Beach. You just cross the road to reach the sea. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. 🍜 Food options are also very convenient. There are many restaurants, cafes, and street food stalls to choose from. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven close to the hotel, making it easy to buy necessities or snacks. 🚍 From the front of the hotel, you can walk to catch a songthaew (shared taxi) for 15 baht all the way to Jomtien Beach to walk around and find food. It's very convenient and doesn't take long. 🍽️ Breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:00. Even when it's busy, you might have to wait a bit for a table, but the staff constantly replenishes the food, ensuring there's always plenty. The taste was surprisingly good, with a wide variety of options. Definitely worth the price. 🏊‍♀️ The facilities are comprehensive, including a large swimming pool suitable for children and families. The kids had a lot of fun. There's also a Kids Club, Playground, and a fitness room available, catering to both children and adults, ensuring a complete and enjoyable stay for all ages. 💡 A few minor suggestions: • The towels in the room had a slight musty smell. If you're sensitive to smells, it's advisable to bring your own towels. • There weren't enough pool towels when it was crowded, so we sometimes had to wait for staff to restock them. • In the early evening, you can hear tables or chairs being dragged from the room above, as the floor is wooden. However, it gets quiet at night, and we slept soundly throughout the night 😴. ❤️ Overall, I was very impressed. For 987 baht, we got a beachfront accommodation with buffet breakfast, a spacious room, comprehensive facilities, a great location, easy access to food, and a nearby 7-Eleven. It's perfect for families with children on vacation. It's definitely more than worth the price, and we would certainly stay here again.

I got exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a hotel with a distinct Thai character. The hotel is clean and has nice rooms. We used the pool with all its beautiful plants daily. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. We used the restaurant multiple times in the afternoons and were satisfied. It was important to me to be away from the intense hustle and bustle. The flaws mentioned multiple times here are ridiculous. On one hand, the wooden pool surround is badly damaged, and on the other hand, the coffee machine is completely broken. I knew both of these things beforehand and actually found them amusing. Such minor details have nothing to do with money, but rather with Thai management. Overall, it's good value for money. I would happily come back.

I recently stayed at D Varee Jomtien Beach and had a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel’s location right on Jomtien Beach is fantastic — waking up to ocean views from my private balcony was a highlight of the trip. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after exploring Pattaya. The facilities are impressive, with multiple swimming pools, a rooftop bar perfect for sunsets, and several dining options offering both Thai and international cuisine. I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar — the atmosphere and views were unforgettable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, combining beachfront convenience, good amenities, and warm hospitality. I would happily recommend D Varee Jomtien Beach to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Pattaya.

Great location and reasonable price! It's right by the seafront, which makes it easy to get around. Plus, it's super convenient to catch the coastal songthaew. The room is spacious, and the AC works wonderfully, keeping it nice and cool. If you're a light sleeper, the music from the nearby entertainment area might bother you, but then again, isn't that part of the Pattaya experience? You probably have to consider both the hotel's location and Pattaya's overall vibe. As a heavy sleeper myself, I slept like a baby! They take a 1000 baht cash deposit which is returned upon check-out. There are 7-Elevens everywhere – front, side, and back – making it easy to grab anything you need. Thanks to this place, I had a fantastic time in Pattaya. I'll definitely be back! 🤗
