Mandarin Island Hotel Boracay

Great hotel with excellent service, perfect location in the center of Station 2. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, own beach are with sun beds. I'd recommend taking 2nd or higher floor rooms, as ground floor with doors opening to the pool get little sunshine and feel very humid. Perfect service, amazing team that really takes care of the guests. Highly recommend. Aslo recommend booking a hotel transfer, it's so fast and efficient, they pick you closer to the return flight so you don't have to spend hours in that hangar of an airport.

We were truly blown away by La Bella Casa de Boracay! It exceeded our expectations for its price—super worth it, very clean, good food and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, nag-enjoy talaga kami even my kids. Thank you so much! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Boracay and will gladly recommend it to others. šŸ„°šŸ¤—ā™„ļø

My husband and I were extremely happy with our stay at this accommodation in Boracay. From the very beginning, we felt genuinely welcomed, and the hospitality we received was outstanding. The location is exactly as described – very quiet and peaceful, and equipped with all the facilities presented in the listing. The room was spacious, spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a lovely fresh smell. There was no trace of any damp or musty odour; it was clearly well-ventilated and thoroughly cleaned. Everything was impeccable. Each room also has a minibar, which is very convenient if you would like to enjoy drinks or local snacks (available at an additional cost). Breakfast was very tasty, with only a few limitations. You can choose one menu and one drink per person, and not all beverages from the drinks list are included in the complimentary breakfast, but you can order extra items for an additional charge if you wish. We also had lunch at the hotel (paid separately), and the food was delicious and very fresh. The service was excellent, and the reception staff were always available and willing to help. At one point, I got sunburnt, and they kindly offered me after-sun cream free of charge to soothe my skin, which was a truly thoughtful gesture. Overall, everything was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend this place. We were genuinely disappointed that we could not find availability for more nights, as we would have loved to stay longer. The only downside was the sea directly in front of the property, as that area tends to gather a lot of seaweed, making swimming difficult. However, this is easily solved by walking a few minutes towards Station 2, where the water is much clearer and perfect for swimming.

They went beyond my expectations. I thought it was going to be like a family run inn but I was so wrong. Upon arrival, they will offer some refreshments and hand towel which is a nice touch. Room was really cute! Attic room but it didnt feel hot. Nice bed and pillows-had a good night’s sleep here. The soundproofing is non-existent however. You can hear the families on the other rooms if they are on the hallways. Also, if people are smoking in the general areas, the smoke smell can get it your room which pissed me off. Nonetheless, would come back for sure.

I expected more, especially knowing that this is a 5-star hotel. The linens had visible stains, and there were some cleanliness issues that were overlooked. I reported these to the front desk for future reference. They acknowledged my concern, but they didn't offer to change the linens or send housekeeping to check the room. (I'm not expecting any compensation. It would've just been a nice gesture if they were more proactive.) Room 308 also needs some maintenance. The AC was leaking and wasn't cooling that well. The shower heater wasn't working properly, the vanity chair was broken and almost detached, and the luggage rack near the TV was already worn out and had stains. (These issues didn't really affect my stay that much, but I think they should still be addressed. If another guest, especially a foreigner, stays here, they would definitely complain.) I didn't report these issues, even during checkout, because after my first concern, I honestly felt like they would just be ignored. During checkout, I called ahead and requested for someone to inspect the room so the process would be faster. Unfortunately, it seemed like no one was sent. I waited longer than expected—it was supposed to take around 5 minutes, but it took about 8 minutes. They also didn't give me any update. (I think if I hadn't asked for a follow-up, I would've waited even longer.) On the positive side, the breakfast was good. The Lagoon Bar was also great, especially the server there. (I forgot his name, but he's been working there for about 3 years. šŸ˜…) Overall, my stay was good. Hoping my next stay feels more like a true 5-star experience. The hotel has great potential, but I think being more proactive with guest concerns, cleanliness, and room maintenance would make a big difference.

The beach is great, and the service is top-notch – they really pamper you. Breakfast, however, wasn't very tasty. There were a lot of baked goods, the fruit wasn't very good, and the beef wasn't flavorful. Chicken and pork were just okay. While there was a large selection, I found it to be pretty mediocre overall. Even the cappuccino machine didn't make a great coffee. It's not a 'wow' or premium breakfast; I'd rate it 3 out of 5. It's acceptable though, and the main thing is the beach, which is not crowded, only hotel guests. The grounds are well-maintained, nice but not 'wow' – 3 out of 5.

Excellent beachfront location with very friendly and responsive staff. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the location and service more than make up for it. There's no currency exchange at the front desk, and a 1000 peso deposit is required at check-in. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. There's a cafe and bar in the hotel courtyard offering various breakfast options and easy snacks. The hotel also provides sun loungers and beach towels. Highly recommend ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø. I also strongly suggest having lunch or dinner at the Villa Caemilla hotel restaurant (just 30-50 meters from this hotel, towards the port). The service and cuisine there are among the best in Boracay, and it's only slightly more expensive than other places.

The space is remarkably spacious and features a lovely terrace. I also loved the complimentary pineapple juice. It offers excellent value for the price, and I am glad I booked it on Trip.com.
