JJitenLoved this hotel. Had everything I needed and the staff were always there to help if anything was needed. Breakfast was superb, as well the choice of lunch and dinner. The beach and pool was great. There is also a hotel bus that runs into the Phan Thiet centre several times a day which was very handy. Would stay again at Sonata Hotel.

ZZhuxiaojie1. The hotel rooms aren't new, but the staff are all incredibly nice. 2. The hotel can help book buses to Ho Chi Minh City and other destinations, which was a huge relief since many drivers don't speak English well enough to pick up guests directly from the hotel. That's a great service. 3. I had a SPA treatment by the sea, listening to the waves. An hour cost about 100 RMB, which is much better value than in Ho Chi Minh City. 4. Overall, the hotel's dining isn't expensive and offers great value for money. I stayed at the resort for four nights and was very satisfied. 5. The hotel has a private beach, so you can head out around 5 AM to watch the sunrise, which was fantastic.

1118167****The service here was truly excellent 👍. We got welcome drinks and a complimentary massage during check-in. Our butler, Hong, was warm and professional! The location is also quite good, and the whole vibe is pretty chill. However, for one of Mui Ne's two best hotels, I found the room facilities a bit dated, and it might not be great value for money during peak season. Even if domestic hotels in China are a lower tier or price point than those in Vietnam, their toothbrushes, combs, razors, hairdryers, bedding, and towels are much better quality. China's manufacturing of these items is truly excellent and inexpensive. While Vietnam's processing industry is booming, it still has a ways to go. Perhaps it's because I didn't book a villa (since I was only staying one night). Compared to the pool villa I stayed in for two nights at Centara, I still prefer Centara's villa types. But Anantara's service is better and more personalized; Centara had too many kids and was too noisy, and the English proficiency wasn't as good as at Anantara.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite good. Some houses are old, some are newer. We stayed in perhaps the oldest: the Private Pool Villa, which is in dire need of renovation. The first disappointment was that Trip.com only allows you to rent this house with breakfast included, and there are only two of us. Upon check-in, after explaining the ”forced overpayment,” the hotel didn't even offer any compliments (a voucher or discount on dinner, a discount on a massage, etc.). In the evening, we turned on a lantern that shone directly into our eyes from the sea. Why not put it on the roof of the house? It would illuminate the area at night and not cause discomfort. The lighting in our pool didn't work. To give it credit, the pool itself is incredibly large! And with a view! I'd also like to point out that the hotel is located on a hill, and to reach the reception, restaurant, or parking lot, you have to navigate stone paths with varying elevations. The beach is currently washed away, the rocks are exposed, there are no sun loungers on the sand, and the sea at high tide comes right up to the path used by strollers from other hotels. After the lawns around the house flooded, mosquitoes began to swarm in the evening. We saw a small green and white snake at our neighbors' house, and then at ours. The water temperature in the pools is the same as the sea; we found it a bit cool. But the pools themselves are clean; ours was cleaned every day. The grounds are large and very green. The breakfasts are good, but they never cook the eggs all the way through! When you fry a regular fried egg, you always end up with a lot of runny whites. A nice touch: at sunset, they brought 3-4 pieces of biscuit to your room with a scroll of some local legend and a goodnight wish. When booking this accommodation, be sure to keep in mind that it's located far from the nearest shops and restaurants, which are a very long walk! We called a taxi or walked a long way along a nearly unlit road.

GGuest UserWe have been to other Southeast Asian countries and have never encountered such thoughtfulness. My father's birthday was on that day, so when we went to the lobby for breakfast in the morning, the waiter specially led us to the best seat by the sea, decorated it thoughtfully, and gave us a birthday cake with birthday wishes, which was a special surprise for us. From this small detail, we can see that the hotel has taken the trouble. Thank you very much for the little surprise the hotel gave us. It is worth staying at this hotel, and the service is also very good. They also helped us book a luxury bus from Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh. We almost couldn't take the bus because I booked it on KLOOK. The order has been pending confirmation. It was the front desk who helped us call for consultation. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserThematically decorated hotel in pirate style which probably kids will be fond of. As for us looked pretty much artificial without some common facilities fr example no big lobby with convenient waiting area. Location is extremely inconvenient in some semi abandoned area. Rooms are high-end decorated and nice. At the same time hotel territory is not big and all the hotel services seems overpriced as for this city and location. Hotel beach is across wide highway, not at the hotel territory. Swimming pools are small and shallow which looked aimed at kids as well.

TTia NikitinaUpon returning from Vung Tau, we stayed at this hotel again. Unfortunately, the room on the 23rd floor was occupied, so they gave us a room in a different building on the 10th floor, also with a sea view. This didn't diminish our impression of the hotel in the slightest.

__WeChat48065****It was very quiet when I checked in at night. I didn't draw the curtains when I went to sleep, and then the sun shone in around 5 a.m. I could watch the sunrise and the sea view from my bed. It was very comfortable. The sunrise was beautiful. The hotel was very large, and the sound of the waves was wonderful!

GGuest UserBefore I start. Let’s be clear, Apec Mandala Mui Ne is the main one that owns the buildings. However a bunch of “Condotels” use the Mandala name so “Mandala Breeze” is one of them. The communication is spot on before the trip. If you use Zalo they message you there and tell you the things you need to know. Also throughout the trip, extremely responsive to any questions I had. CHECK-IN Messaged when arrived and a girl came with the key cards (not the typical check-in style). She showed us to the room and took pictures of our passports. Also, they needed to keep one of the passports for some reason. But got it back at the end. FOOD: The Mandala Bay restaurant was for sure the main one for decent food! There are “lower level” kinds of restaurants around that offer very affordable and yummy food. (Bay Restaurant would be about 1-1.5M VND per meal on average for family of 3-4. Whereas the other more affordable places cost about 500k VND totally). AMENITIES: Swimming pools to the max. Very nicely kept pools and a nice kids playing mini water park was great. All pools have kids pools connected so it’s very family oriented. Didn’t get to check the gym out but looks good. The beach is easily accessible via exiting the hotel and asking the guard to send the golf cart to take you down. Beach is standard and nothing very special. Quite a lot of rubbish around and many crabs (which of course don’t need to worry about as they go down into their holes with any kind of movement from us.) Beach water is a little clear and at this time of the year (May) the water is warm! *Notable* - people were getting stung by what possibly are jelly fish. So, you just get lucky with that kind of thing. KIDS ACTIVITIES: They have a great kids play club. It costs extra and isn’t included in the hotel cost but it’s worth it. Unfortunately quite hot in there though! Kids also have the water park for themselves and the water slide (although the slide might rip your swimsuit a little!) *Notable* - Swimming Pools. If you are staying via one of the condotels then make sure the if your room includes the swimming pools, take the main key card pocket as you won’t be able to get towels to use or even use the pool as that is the part of the actual date you will check-out. The cards themselves have old dates and the lifeguards get confused and say you can’t use the pools so make sure you take the one that has the actual check-out date on it. CHECK-OUT: Simply message 30 minutes before the time and it will be ok. Very simple. All in all it was a great time. A couple of miscommunication issues but that’s to be expected. No real need to go out of the complex as they have everything there.
