Guest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. While the location is a bit out of the way, it's perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. You can ask the front desk for help renting a scooter. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, the staff are very enthusiastic, and the hygiene conditions are excellent.

I've wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time, and it truly is 100% family-friendly, a perfect place to unwind, relax, zone out, and enjoy easy parenting ❤️. Although it's a bit far from Hua Hin city center, there's a market, night market, and supermarket within a 5-10 minute walk behind the hotel. They also have a shuttle bus to department stores and the downtown night market, and Grab taxis are convenient and affordable. The water park is right across from the hotel, which really saves a lot of hassle with kids and all their gear, not to mention showers and getting ready. It's fantastic to just go straight back to the hotel for a shower and rest after playing! The hotel also has a kids' play area and provides game tokens to use the facilities. In conclusion: If you're coming to Hua Hin for a family vacation with kids, this is the place to be! 🥰

Guest UserHighly recommend this hotel for families with parents and young children. The hotel's private beach is lovely (there's a popular cafe next door for photos). The hotel environment is fantastic – not crowded, quiet, and offers various activities. We really enjoyed just relaxing and reading a book here without going anywhere else. The guest rooms have been renovated, though the air conditioning at 27 degrees felt surprisingly cold. If you walk left out of the hotel, there are two night markets that are definitely worth checking out.

Anonymous UserThe accommodation is great, the room is clean, and the bed is super soft and comfortable. There are two types of pillows, both soft and comfortable to sleep on. Personally, I really loved the bed, pillows, and blanket – I slept very soundly. It's perfect for a relaxing stay.
Transportation is convenient, close to various attractions, cafes, and a night market, all within easy reach.
The restaurant is good; there's a variety of food, though not a huge selection, but plenty of drink options. The food taste is average. Overall, it's considered good.

Guest UserThis hotel, built 103 years ago, boasts a rich history, beautifully maintained gardens, and a traditional ambiance that creates a unique service experience. This is a significant advantage that no newly built hotel can replicate in a short period of time. Although I booked a standard room, I received an upgrade and was satisfied with everything. My only regret was that the main pool wing and a part of the hotel were undergoing renovations, causing some inconvenience and preventing me from fully enjoying the hotel's complete atmosphere.

DSP 1964This is the 8th or 9th time we've been in the last 3 years! Although the Wora Bura might not match the luxury of the Intercontinental or general high standards of the Marriott, the location right next to the Ko Takiab beach, as well as the very attractive colonial-style buildings and value for money, makes this a special hotel which offers spacious and very comfortable rooms, all with a lovely view of the gardens, statues, and fountains. The breakfast provides a wide range of Thai and international food, and there's a Buy 1 Get 1 free happy hour for a selection of drinks which is actually from 3pm to 8pm!
We've already booked for October, but we'll try to get back before if we can.

JdxThe room is great, clean when we entered, and very spacious. There’s no phone in the room so the only way to connect with reception is via WhatsApp. The tv lags on the first night probably due to connection, but the following days were fine.
One thing to feedback is the breakfast, I am shocked at the breakfast they have in the hotel. Highly Recommend do not recommend to purchase the breakfast, which we did for all 3 days, we only went for 1 day to dine in, and another day just to get coffee.
This is by far the worse breakfast set up I’ve seen in all hotels I’ve been to, I’m surprised because this is such a nice hotel.
Varieties are way too little and pathetic, as you can see from my ala carte American breakfast, can’t even fill half the plate.
When travelling, we really look forward to starting our day having a good breakfast in the hotel so this was a huge disappointment.
Nonetheless, the pool did not disappoint, it was beautiful as the photos you see online, we actually spent half a day at the pool just chilling.
Pool snacks are not fantastic too, really need to improve on the food part, sweet potatoes fries and onion rings are bad, I don’t recommend to order that.
We like the curly fries however~
Most of the staff are helpful and friendly.
All in all we did enjoyed our stay here, and the location is good, not too far off from market areas and places we went.

Guest UserAt first we didn’t liked the hotel that much.
But we warmed up to it and in the end we didn’t want to leave
It seems like it’s very out of the way of everything, but actually there is a lot to do close by
Lots of good places to eat
The beach may not be as nice as others in Thailand but is super peaceful
All in all the hotel was good, good service and clean
Only issue is that we asked for an extra bed cover and they charged us 50bht
Which is highly unusual
The breakfast was also kind of lackluster so we didn’t have it everyday
And I don’t love the bathroom setting as it lacks privacy
The pool is nice and it has a great view
But it is very small and has not services such a spool bar or changing room/toilets
Usually there was no one there
So all in all is a quaint little hotel in a quaint little beach perfect dor those who prefer peace and quiet and not to much fuss

Guest UserWe stayed one night in a standard room, which was quite large, including a spacious shower room. The room features a TV, mini fridge, coffee and tea facilities, a desk, a table with two chairs, a wardrobe with hangers, and a balcony.
The property is very quiet at night and provides a large carpark. They offer a helpful van transfer to the nearby train station, which is convenient when carrying luggage. The resort is located right on the beach, offering direct access with an outdoor swimming pool and a beach bar restaurant. Note that check-in is at or after 3 PM

For this price, I do not think you are going to this close to the beach with a very large pool and absolutely wide open view to the ocean. For the price, there are some very big pluses to this place. I already mentioned the proximity to the beach. The view from the pool area is amazing and you can see the ocean wide open, no buildings. They have a lovely massage area right at the edge facing the beach. Yes, the hotel is a bit old, but I love it when there is character to the furnishings. I loved the tiling in the bathroom and it reminded me of an older more simpler time. Did I mention that you are walking distance to two of the best night markets in town? Oh wow, this was very convenient.
Another review mentioned that there was no kettle in the room and I ran into this issue, but they have one for public use in the lobby. And the cleaning staff may do your room late. Mine was made after 3 p.m. everyday, but this was no issue to me. I love swimming, and the incredibly large pool was perfect for this. It is an older pool, but some people would call it character. The only mildly sour experience I had was that on the third day of me swimming there, the attendant at the pool bar was a little stern and asked questioningly if I was staying at the hotel. I gave him my room number and he left me alone. But I think there is a nicer way to do it. He could've said something else like ”hello sir, I hope you are enjoying your stay at the hotel. May I ask your name and room number to sign you into the pool area? And please let me know if you'd like something from the bar...”. But, I love all Thai people so much that I forgot instantly that he was a little stern, and I would love to come back here one day!
