Temporary itinerary, so it was more than seven o'clock in the evening that day, and arrived before nine o'clock. Because it was a homestay, I needed to check in by myself. At that time, the store did not reply to the information in time. I contacted the small housekeeper directly. The response was quite timely and gave praise ～.
The environment is good, the health is also very good, the bed is very big, I belong to the higher sleep requirements, the living environment gives full marks!
A little distance from the University Town of Coimbra, but it is very convenient to take a taxi. Overall, I am very satisfied with ～.

The hotel is very ceremonial and needs to ring the doorbell to open the door. The breakfast was very rich, the room was large and the service was very thoughtful. The garden is worth a visit, with the iconic 12th century arch and a tears spring with a sad love story. There are antique paintings in the corridor, one step at a time.

Just a minute walk from Coimbra University and the new church, I sent peach sparkling wine and cakes as soon as I checked in.
The building is optimized for nearly 200 years of architecture, and there are small details and the homeowner's thoughts everywhere.
The hostess is very enthusiastic about how to use it, etc., and also presented homemade butterfly dumplings before leaving!
If you come by car. Remember that the location of the intersection can be parked for free (we are very lucky to stop to one, a total of 2 cars should be parked on each side, remember that you can't block the door of others, you can't block the passing vehicles)

While the soundproofing was a bit lacking, I was generally satisfied. The front desk staff were friendly and proficient in English, which was a plus. However, be careful as water tends to splash out of the shower stall during a shower (the drainage isn't great). I regret not using the pool facilities, as the water was surprisingly clean. There's a spacious paid parking area with electric vehicle charging available.

The hotel reception was poor, no effort was made to inform us of the hotel’s amenities or location of the amenities. The port wine at the reception was on display but was never offered to us or the other guests. The cleaning staff were very friendly, congratulations. The heating unit was located outside near the window of the room and was surprisingly loud. The worst of all was a male guest using the sauna and steam room while completely *****! Shocking lack of hygiene!!!

I stayed at The Luggage for just one night, but it left such a wonderful impression that I would absolutely choose to stay here again without a second thought.
The hotel itself is located in a beautiful, historic building that perfectly blends traditional charm with excellent interior design. The high ceilings and massive windows give the rooms an incredibly spacious and airy feel, making the stay feel extra special.
Beyond the gorgeous architecture, the service was top-notch. The receptionist spoke excellent English, was extremely welcoming, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Overall, this hotel truly elevated my experience and left me with the best memories of Coimbra. Highly recommended!
