The hotel is stunned, in all its manifestations, breakfast 5 stars, insecurity on the roof did not use but are sure of the number of occupied tables near there everything is good, visited in spa, area on 5 service on 5, massage level of guys forgive 3 points, Crete would recommend? Stayed here 1 night as an extra night due to late flight arrival times so we didn’t burn a day at our all inclusive. Hotel is brand new, clean, comfortable and very well located. As a family of 4 we had a double joining room. Staff were absolutely brilliant and went out their way to be so friendly and nice. It had a small gym but all good equipment, perfect for a short stay, breakfast buffet was decent for a short stay… Would highly recommend if you want a modern, clean and nice hotel. We spent the part of the day exploring Heraklion before heading to Panormos to our all inclusive. A+

Excellent quality hotel with a large and beautiful swimming pool, very comfortable rooms and professional and attentive staff. A true 5* hotel, a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Heraklion. This is not our first stay and we are never disappointed. The price-quality ratio is absolutely correct.

The hotel is pretty clean and modern. We found the beds to be very comfy and the hotel's location was pretty convenient near the old town and port areas. The rooms are well appointed with a couple of chairs, a work area, a coffee/tea station, big TV and a large bathroom. There were enough plugs around the room and many switches with light settings to get it just right. We appreciated the balcony and the view outside but there were some cars that drove by with very loud music each night. The only significant complaint we had was that the bathroom shower leaked very easily in our rooms and got the floor wet near the toilet. The breakfast at the hotel was pretty good with a variety of Crete foods like cheese and pastries. There was fresh scrambled eggs and a very good sausage available as well. The breakfast also had a large variety of preserved fruits that paired well with the Greek yoghurt and included oranges, cherries, grapes and figs. We appreciated that the hotel had inexpensive parking nearby at Central Parking which was 7 Euros per day with unlimited in/out privileges as long as we got a stamp when we got in. The hotel also had a restaurant that offered room service and there was a popular cafe just across the street. This hotel was a good base for exploring Crete with a convenient location near the airport and the price was very fair for us.

We recently stayed at the Metropole and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

Enjoyed the stay at the hostel. The people (Volunteers) at the desk were very helpful. The rooftop is a good place to hangout and meet fellow travellers. Location is in close proximity to main shopping areas of Heraklion. Also has a 24 hour convenience store within a 5 minute walk. Overall, it was a very good experience.

A very well-located hotel with very clean, well-decorated, and modern rooms furnished with comfortable furniture. The icing on the cake is the generous breakfast offering good quality food. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was a small supermarket in the lobby. In particular, the front desk staff was very warm and friendly, and gave us handwritten bus routes and bus stop names. The bus stop was not far from the hotel, which was very helpful for us to visit the city (the bus driver did not understand English).

The Hotel Irakion is right in the centre of te Cretan capital. Excellent position to visit all attractions, museum, Lion Square etc or to just wander around taking in the atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants nearby. An open grill opposite the hotel was perfect to get a souvlaki to take back at night and eat it on the balcony with ouzo from the small 24 hour shop opposite hotel. The hotel itself I well run, clean. Has 24 hour reception. The room offered everything needed, hot shower, toiletries, plenty of loo roll towels and a fridge. Comfy large beds. Balcony with table and chairs. They also provided a decent hot and cold buffet to suit almost all tastes. The breakfast sets you up for the day of whatever you're doing next. Enjoy Greece 🇬🇷
