My absolute favorite was the window. Mornings brought mist hovering over the river like a delicate veil, while at night, stars seemed to tumble into the deep, inky mountains. Sitting quietly by the window, listening to the wind whisper through the bamboo and watching water birds glide over the emerald ripples, I suddenly understood why ancient scholars always sought to 'steal moments of leisure' – the sublime beauty of nature is, after all, the most priceless of gifts. The home-cooked meals prepared by Auntie carried the warmth of the earth itself. Bamboo shoots, freshly dug from the back mountain that very morning, and fish, caught straight from the river, were simply prepared. Yet, their exquisite freshness transported me back to my grandmother's kitchen in childhood. Each bite felt like a gentle blessing from the mountains and waters. The staff always greeted us with a smile, striking the perfect balance, like old friends. There was no need to ask; they had already quietly anticipated and prepared everything. The establishment was incredibly thoughtful. They helped upgrade our room, and when they heard our friend had to rush for a train and would miss breakfast, they kindly packed some fruit for them to eat on the go. A bright window embedded in the yellow mud wall brings the green mountains caressed by the flowing clouds into view. Oh, isn't this lying in the Fuchun Mountain Residence? The architectural body and interior design of Liuyun Country Villa are impeccable, bright and simple but with everything you need, everything you need but just right. The yellow of the yellow mud is the basic color, the color of the earth, the color of the countryside, blending between the green plants and the shelter of the mountains, like the skin color of a beautiful woman showing her clothes. There is a row of narrow windows between the preserved warehouse wall and the wooden beam roof. Through it, you can see the stars at night and the shadows of the clouds reflected by the moon when you lie on the bed. And it is also the morning call to wake you up in the morning. The housekeeper is a self-deprecating boy who is a little fat. He is polite and enthusiastic, and is simply a warm man. He arranged everything very considerately for us who just arrived, and reminded us of things that we may not have noticed, which made us feel like spring breeze. The environment is quiet and comfortable, the room is clean and tidy, the layout is warm, the daily necessities are complete, and the living is particularly safe. The key point must be to praise the boss, the people are super kind and enthusiastic, especially take care of the family with the baby, and are on call if necessary. They also intimately recommend places and local food suitable for children to play. Be sincere and easy-going, get along with people is particularly comfortable, just like family. Shanmeisu, the decoration aesthetic is online, the furniture is specially purchased from Thailand by the boss, the wood is very special, like it. The rooms are fully equipped and the wooden ceiling is original. The balcony room has a mountain view. Wake up in the morning as if you are in a cloud and mist. The natural oxygen bar is especially suitable for us who have been living in the city for a long time to relax and charge. In summer, you can also have an infinity pool, and there is a bath room in winter. Very suitable for group building and friends gathering!

We brought our dog to OMG Heartbeat Park and booked this guesthouse, which is super close, only a 10-minute drive from the park. The guesthouse's design style is very minimalist and elegant, and the room is spacious, clean, and tidy. I especially loved the bathroom! Just remember to bring your own disposables (like toothpaste and toothbrushes). The garden's night view is also incredibly beautiful. The owners are extremely warm and hospitable. They even turned on the air conditioning for us before we arrived. We ordered dinner and had breakfast, both of which were excellent – delicious and generous portions. We were all very satisfied; it's the kind of place we'd definitely want to stay at again if we visit Tonglu. Since we were traveling with a small dog, it was hard to find a pet-friendly guesthouse or hotel, but this one is very accommodating to pets. They even have a cute and handsome little greeter dog, a Bichon named July, haha, though he's a little bit aloof~

The room was great, and the bathtub was a nice touch. The flowers outside the entrance were the prettiest on the whole street, making for a lovely spot to relax. The reception area had a big projector that played cartoons, which instantly quieted the kids down. Breakfast was delicious, and they even offered sweet or savory zongzi depending on whether guests were from the north or south, which was incredibly thoughtful! The owners were so welcoming and enthusiastic. They gave us excellent directions, offered great tips on where to go and what to see, and recommended fantastic places to eat. All their suggestions felt genuine and helpful, with no ulterior motives. Highly recommend!

The suite we stayed in this time was excellent, with a great, unobstructed view and very quiet. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge. It's surrounded by villages, and the nearest takeout is 10 kilometers away, so we ate all our meals at the hotel. The Chinese food was better than the Western options. The hotel offers a good range of activities like tennis, pickleball, and swimming. The pool has a nice view, making it perfect for a purely relaxing, stay-at-the-hotel trip. Jane at the front desk was very thoughtful with her service. She added us on WeChat early on to ask about our room preferences and was always responsive when we needed to call for the shuttle within the hotel. Special commendation for her!

Holidays are hidden in the clouds. The room is on the first floor, with an exclusive view of the mountain. There is even a shallow stream that you can wade down from the side door, which is quite a surprise. When working in the city, you look up and see the ceiling and the lights that never go out day or night. In the mountains, there is sunlight and birds singing during the day, and darkness and insects chirping when the sun goes down. The day and night are clearly distinguished, and the perception that had been confused by deadlines and to-do lists is restored. People walk during the day and rest at night. They should have day and night just like flowers, plants and trees. When I first arrived and parked the car, two store owners came down the steps to greet me, just like a cheerful younger brother at home bringing his younger sister out to pick you up. It was very different from the mechanical courtesy hidden behind the front desk of other hotels when checking in. The breakfast was simple but appetizing. I ate it slowly under the tree branches, with the morning sun shining on my neck, feeling leisurely and comfortable. Yesterday's breakfast was still a bagel I grabbed before going out, and I ate a few bites while switching between brakes and accelerators in the traffic jam on Beizhai Elevated Road. Out of habit, I asked the shop owner for a cup of coffee. He made it for me while we were chatting. It was really good. The entire homestay consists of three buildings distributed on two slopes. The public areas are all outdoors, with plenty of lounge chairs, tables and benches, which can be placed anywhere for lying down or sitting. The dinner was clean and refreshing, and I must mention the plates, bowls, cups and dishes of the restaurant. The Nebula pottery was rough and elegant, showing the thoughtfulness of the restaurant. The pity is that the stay was short after all. After we returned to the B&B during the day, the temperature in the mountains dropped as night fell. Otherwise, it would have been so pleasant to drink a pot of black tea in the evening breeze. It is recommended to experience it in person.

The weather has been very good recently. I took advantage of the end of the holiday to bring my family to Tonglu. The hotel environment is great with mountains and water, and the view from the room is also top-notch. The hotel's public area is very large, occupying a hilltop. The children had a lot of fun playing on the lawn. There are also cafes, gyms and swimming pools so they won't be bored. The next day I went to OMG Heartbeat Park, which is not far from the hotel by car for about 20 minutes. I recommend it.

This time I chose a homestay without stepping on thunder! From the moment I entered the door, I was warmed to the natural temperature of the wood decoration. The room layout was as comfortable as home, the bedding was soft, and the small garden was outside the window. I could hear the birds calling in the morning. The boss is very enthusiastic, not only helped plan the surrounding tour route, but also sent his own sour plum soup at night.
