## Nestled in Tonglu's Painterly Landscape | A Short Account of Yisongshuling, Lucun Village
As the outside world receded, the invigorating spirit of the landscape washed over me.
Stepping inside, it was immediately clear that the hosts possess a true appreciation for life. It wasn't about ostentatious 'design,' but rather a subtle integration of modern elements into aged wood, pristine white walls, and warm lighting. The room was spacious, and smart home features silently anticipated every need, making it feel like living in a futuristic poem – a poem, nonetheless, that rhymed with the mountains and the moon.
My absolute favorite was the window. Mornings brought mist hovering over the river like a delicate veil, while at night, stars seemed to tumble into the deep, inky mountains. Sitting quietly by the window, listening to the wind whisper through the bamboo and watching water birds glide over the emerald ripples, I suddenly understood why ancient scholars always sought to 'steal moments of leisure' – the sublime beauty of nature is, after all, the most priceless of gifts.
The home-cooked meals prepared by Auntie carried the warmth of the earth itself. Bamboo shoots, freshly dug from the back mountain that very morning, and fish, caught straight from the river, were simply prepared. Yet, their exquisite freshness transported me back to my grandmother's kitchen in childhood. Each bite felt like a gentle blessing from the mountains and waters.
The staff always greeted us with a smile, striking the perfect balance, like old friends. There was no need to ask; they had already quietly anticipated and prepared everything. And if solitude was desired, they would simply leave you with a tranquil, gentle quietude.
Departing felt like waking from a beautiful dream. This wasn't merely accommodation; it was unequivocally a few days spent dwelling in a fairyland. I left imbued with its spiritual essence, and I swear I even 'stole' half a window's worth of its magnificent scenery.
—Perhaps true luxury never needs to flaunt itself; it simply, gently restores you to being one with nature.
### Tips
* **Room types:** Diverse options available; a mountain view room is highly recommended.
* **Must-try dishes:** Auntie's local chicken hotpot and stir-fried wild bamboo shoots. My personal favorite was the freshly made dried vegetable and pork patty – incredibly fragrant!
* **Activities:** Take a stroll along the ancient path beside the guesthouse, where you can walk alongside the Fuchun River, with distant mountains as your backdrop.
* **Nearby attractions:** It's very close to the Mailing Ancient Path, definitely worth a hike.
The establishment was incredibly thoughtful. They helped upgrade our room, and when they heard our friend had to rush for a train and would miss breakfast, they kindly packed some fruit for them to eat on the go. Auntie also kept everything impeccably clean.

A bright window embedded in the yellow mud wall brings the green mountains caressed by the flowing clouds into view. Oh, isn't this lying in the Fuchun Mountain Residence?
The architectural body and interior design of Liuyun Country Villa are impeccable, bright and simple but with everything you need, everything you need but just right. The yellow of the yellow mud is the basic color, the color of the earth, the color of the countryside, blending between the green plants and the shelter of the mountains, like the skin color of a beautiful woman showing her clothes.
There is a row of narrow windows between the preserved warehouse wall and the wooden beam roof. Through it, you can see the stars at night and the shadows of the clouds reflected by the moon when you lie on the bed. And it is also the morning call to wake you up in the morning.
The housekeeper is a self-deprecating boy who is a little fat. He is polite and enthusiastic, and is simply a warm man. He arranged everything very considerately for us who just arrived, and reminded us of things that we may not have noticed, which made us feel like spring breeze.
Looking forward to coming again next time.

This is a treasure inn that I have been thinking about for a long time. After I settled in, it really lived up to my expectations (I immediately decided to stay longer 😂). The renovation of the 200-year-old house, whether it is the design style, decoration materials or the business philosophy of the owner, Sister Liang, is my favorite. Sister Liang's love for the old house is reflected everywhere in the inn. The layout, decoration, furnishings, books, bedding, furniture, and colors are all very thoughtful. Breakfast and dinner (dinner must be booked in advance), most of the ingredients are locally sourced, fresh and authentic, Sister Liang and Auntie's cooking skills are down-to-earth, which makes my sister and I have endless aftertaste! The table is exquisitely laid out, and it is comfortable to look at even if you don't eat. The owner, Sister Liang, is humorous and has the demeanor of a hero. Chatting with her is full of positive energy!

A Chinese-style beauty hotel with a sense of design and comfort. The architectural lines are simple and atmospheric, with white walls, logs, and large floor-to-ceiling windows, which combine Chinese style charm with modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, the layout is reasonable, the viewing terrace is excellent, and the mountain view streams are panoramic. The facilities are new and easy to use, the bathroom is dry and wet, the hot water is stable, and the bedding is skin-friendly and breathable. The whole house is clean and odorless, and the public areas are exquisitely maintained. It can be seen that the main person is aesthetically and attentively.

Beautiful hotel in the mountains, with good decoration aesthetics. The furniture was specially purchased by the owner from Thailand. The wood is very distinctive and I like it.
The room is fully equipped and the wooden ceiling is original. The balcony room has a unique mountain view. When you wake up in the morning, you feel like you are in a cloud of mist. It is a natural oxygen bar, especially suitable for us who have lived in the city for a long time to relax and recharge.
You can also have an infinity pool in the summer and a hot spring room in the winter. It is very suitable for team building and gathering with friends!

The view from the room is superb, especially the balcony, facing the Fuchun River, with mountains, trees and roads in the distance.
The boss is very considerate and will prepare fruits, snacks and tea when you go back (ps: the tea is better than outside), which makes you feel like you are home.
There are few shops around, so it is not easy to order takeout at night, but it is convenient to have drinks downstairs.
There are many people in the scenic area during the holidays, so it is also nice to stay downstairs in the homestay and chat with the boss.

Duanduan_latepThe room was great, and the bathtub was a nice touch. The flowers outside the entrance were the prettiest on the whole street, making for a lovely spot to relax. The reception area had a big projector that played cartoons, which instantly quieted the kids down. Breakfast was delicious, and they even offered sweet or savory zongzi depending on whether guests were from the north or south, which was incredibly thoughtful! The owners were so welcoming and enthusiastic. They gave us excellent directions, offered great tips on where to go and what to see, and recommended fantastic places to eat. All their suggestions felt genuine and helpful, with no ulterior motives. Highly recommend!

Anonymous UserBeyond the flat plains lie spring mountains, and the grassy path is nestled within them.
An hour and a half after departing from Yuhang, the car stopped in front of a shop sign. A small gate, hidden by a grassy path, opened to reveal a vast expanse of lush green lawn, like a thick, verdant carpet. On the lawn stood a five-story industrial-style building—the Grassy Path Guesthouse.
The guesthouse's pets were all adorable and friendly: the dogs were domesticated, the cats wild. Dinner at the guesthouse featured a fragrant and sweet hot pot of free-range chicken and vegetables, and flavorful grilled beef and shrimp. Reading, sipping tea, and drinking coffee in the tatami study and tea room—a few relaxing days were truly delightful.
As dawn and dusk passed, every step was met with verdant greenery and the sounds of birds and insects. At sunrise, golden rays pierced the clouds and pierced the forests and mountains; at dusk, countless stars shone brightly against the indigo sky. The tranquility of the mountains and fields could cleanse the dust of the world and soothe the soul.
I would definitely come back to stay.

The weather has been very good recently. I took advantage of the end of the holiday to bring my family to Tonglu. The hotel environment is great with mountains and water, and the view from the room is also top-notch. The hotel's public area is very large, occupying a hilltop. The children had a lot of fun playing on the lawn. There are also cafes, gyms and swimming pools so they won't be bored. The next day I went to OMG Heartbeat Park, which is not far from the hotel by car for about 20 minutes. I recommend it.

The hotel was great! I called ahead before checking in and they had the AC on for me, which was a nice touch. The room was quite spacious and offered excellent value for money. It even came with a small yard. There are plenty of local farm-to-table restaurants nearby, so dining out was very convenient. It's also super close to Xintiao Paradise. Since it was the off-season, there weren't many people around. I only stayed for two days this time, but Tonglu is definitely worth exploring. I'll be sure to stay longer and really enjoy it next time I visit!
