"We were upgraded to a river view room for free. The front desk also proactively gave us breakfast vouchers for our child when we checked in. The river view from the room was absolutely stunning, especially on a rainy day – watching the boats glide on the river was incredibly relaxing. For breakfast, I recommend going early to snag a window seat in the restaurant. The hotel is also very close to Yaolin Road, a popular 'influencer street'. In the evenings, around 7 pm, there's a small night market and even a public square dance right below the hotel, which gives it a lovely, vibrant local feel. Thumbs up!"

"The hotel's location and environment are excellent, a natural oxygen bar. The service from [Housekeeper Xiao Ye] was also very thoughtful. We received a large and varied fruit platter as a welcome gift and a thoughtful farewell gift. They even gave us bar drink vouchers. (I suggest the hotel switch the farewell gift to a children's toy given at check-in. The mountain-view rooms are a bit plain, and kids might get bored in the evening. Perhaps they could take a cue from Macau hotels and offer small coloring books and crayons). airport shuttle bus was very responsive; a car was usually waiting shortly after I called. The hotel breakfast was unique and delicious. The industrial-style hot spring was very distinctive, and the kids loved it (remember to bring swimsuits!). The lounge had a wide variety of drinks, but the snacks were limited (only grilled sausages, and one per person). After the hot springs, you tend to get hungry, so I suggest offering more food options, even just small cookies, cakes, or popcorn. Since the hotel is far from town, food delivery is either unavailable or takes over 1.5 hours, and room service isn't an option. More snacks in the hot spring area and mini-bar would be greatly appreciated."

"The environment was excellent, exceeding my expectations. I was expecting just a standard river-view room, but the view was surprisingly expansive; I was immediately struck by its beauty upon opening the door. They even provided plenty of drinks (it would have been even better if the railing hadn't been there). The breakfast was decent, with a fairly varied selection. Overall, I was very satisfied."

"This place offers incredible value for money! It's super close to the entrance of Heartbeat Park, and the room was really clean and tidy. The owner was also very welcoming. My only suggestion would be to remove the wooden incense sticks from the room. At first, I thought there was a smoke smell, and even after opening the window for ages, it wouldn't go away. Then I found one of those sticks, and after I threw it in the bathroom, it was much better – quite a misunderstanding!"

"The hotel's location is excellent; it's about a five-minute drive straight from the Tonglu highway exit. The front desk service was great; they even offered to add me on WeChat so I could contact them anytime if I needed anything. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good, and in the evening, they even offered white fungus stewed with red dates at the front desk. Thumbs up to the hotel! 👍"

"My girlfriend and I both agree this hotel is vastly superior to Alila Wuzhen. We were incredibly satisfied with every aspect, from the service to the environmental hygiene. We'd love to come back! We were here for a rafting trip, and staying at this resort was just fantastic. It happened to be our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a cake – it was unexpectedly beautiful and huge, I honestly thought it would be some small, half-hearted gesture. What's more, all the hotel staff were incredibly kind and polite, with one exception: a cleaning gentleman who completely ignored me when we passed in the corridor, which I found a bit off-putting. But Conrad Tonglu, I've truly fallen in love with you! With everything you offer, I don't know how many more times I'll have to come and stay. One night wasn't enough this time; next time, I'll definitely book two."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel when I visited Tonglu. First off, the check-in process was seamless and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They escorted us all the way to our room and even provided a welcome gift. **Facilities:** Since the hotel is brand new, all the designs are very well-thought-out and practical, making everything super convenient. I particularly liked the bathroom design, where the toilet and shower are separate, and there's even a retractable clothesline. **Hygiene:** The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. **Service:** The service was excellent. Any requests were handled promptly, and they even delivered snacks on the second day. When we checked out, they gave us a traditional intangible cultural heritage paper-cut as a parting gift. **Breakfast:** The hotel's breakfast is highly recommended. It's on par with what you'd find at SPG, Hilton, or InterContinental. Tonglu Hotel's breakfast truly stands out with its local specialties. The presentation was exquisite and thoughtful, and dishes were replenished quickly. They had unique items like 'dongfen' (jelly noodles) and brown sugar eggs, and the offerings were different each of the two days we stayed. **Parking:** The concierge service could use some improvement, specifically regarding the parking guidance upon arrival and the vehicle license plate registration upon departure. These aspects could be enhanced."
