The owner, Shan Ge, is a dedicated person who runs this B&B (he owns it, not rents it) with passion and dedication, and treats guests with exceptional care. The B&B is near the God of Wealth Temple and a five-minute drive from the Purple Sky Palace. The courtyard offers stunning views, surrounded by mountains, and is incredibly quiet. The rooms are beautifully designed and charming. During our two-day stay, Shan Ge took care of our meals, and the food was clean and delicious! The hostess even made the stinky tofu and chopped chili peppers herself! Shan Ge even took us on a mountain path to worship the God of Wealth! We even visited his elderly neighbors, who were very friendly and engaging! Shan Ge has been practicing Taoism for several years and has gained a wealth of insights into life. We exchanged a lot over the past two days, and he was so warm and welcoming. Staying at the B&B was more than just a travel experience; I was also very happy to get to know Shan Ge and his family!

Just got off the bus, I saw the housekeeper waiting on the side of the road. They smiled and picked up their luggage, and the fatigue of the road was instantly dissipated. Walking along the road for only five minutes, you will arrive at the B&B hidden in the depths of the streets. It is close to Nanyan Palace and Zixuan Palace. The room was clean and bright, and the design of separation of dry and wet was very intimate. I slept extraordinarily that night, and the mattress was moderately firm and soft, like lying in a cloud. Love the terrace facing the mountains. All kinds of green plants stretched out in the morning light, sitting at the tea table, holding the tea. The fog slowly rose from the valley, sometimes winding the peaks, sometimes over the forest. Sitting so quietly, watching the mountains and watching the fog, I forgot the time. Here, the service is silent warmth always appearing in due time when needed, and leaving us with enough quietness. This journey has become different due to this homestay, enjoying the joy of the mountains and rivers, and the warmth of the world.

The room was tiny and the furniture felt really cheap. What I hated most was the showerhead; I tried adjusting it forever, but no hot water came out. Even after a staff member came to fix it, it still wasn't right, but it was too late to bother further. The mattress was also uncomfortable. Plus, there's an elementary school right behind the room, so it gets noisy super early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep in. The location is downtown, so food delivery is convenient, and it's close to Yuxu Palace, which you can visit in the afternoon.

My friend and I searched for this guesthouse online while visiting Wudang Mountain.
