LesiklisaI stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was good, the grounds were pleasant, everything was clean, and the rooms were clean and all wood-paneled. You really feel that authentic Thai island vibe. The only thing missing in the room was a bathrobe and a dental kit. It's a long walk to 7-Eleven; I could have called a motorcycle taxi, of course, but it would be better if these kits were provided in the rooms. Luckily, I happened to have dental kits from previous hotels in my suitcase. The hotel has its own beach. One beach has a sandy entry, no rocks, but for some reason, the water there was always a bit murky. The second has rocks, but you can walk through them a little and then swim and snorkel comfortably. There are sun loungers right there, and a hotel cafe too. They have happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM, which I took advantage of. My biggest disappointment was breakfast. There was a selection of pancakes and toast, which I rarely eat, as well as three Thai dishes, and you couldn't order from the menu in the morning. Basically, I stayed hungry 😬. Breakfast is important to me; it's about strength and energy, especially when you have an active vacation with swimming all day.
However, the view from the room was simply beautiful. If you want peace and quiet, get one of the bungalows higher up. Otherwise, it's quiet everywhere unless your neighbors start getting rowdy on their balconies 😄.
I forgot to add that the sunrise was something else; I could see it from my room too, but on the second day, I went down to the beach to watch it.

Bulow Casa was an absolute gem and one of the best stays we have ever had.
The beach was stunning — pristine, peaceful, and just steps away. It’s the kind of beach you never want to leave.
The atmosphere of the hotel itself was wonderful. The surroundings are beautifully maintained and create a truly relaxing environment that makes you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive.
The food at the hotel was delicious and well-prepared, with a great variety that satisfied every craving. Dining here was genuinely a pleasure.
The staff deserve a special mention — they were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Their warmth made a real difference to our experience.
One standout feature that truly impressed us was the complimentary shuttle service around Koh Lipe. Being able to explore the island freely without any extra cost was a fantastic touch that showed how much the hotel cares about its guests’ experience.
We would recommend Bulow Casa to anyone visiting Koh Lipe without hesitation. We will absolutely be back.

This bungalow-style resort by Sunset Beach is really lovely. The check-in deposit is just 100 THB.
I really enjoyed the hotel's layout—it's only a five-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, which is super handy.
The hotel's beach area is pretty small and often has boats around, so if you'd like to go snorkeling, I'd suggest walking about 10 minutes to the east side of the beach. For calm, beautiful turquoise water, head to the north tip of the island—it's about 30 minutes from the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort offers massage services, a diving club, and yoga classes.
A quick note on the bungalow I stayed in: there was no hot water, quite a few mosquitoes, and the lighting was fairly dim since it's nestled among gardens and other houses. The hotel also follows an eco-friendly policy to save electricity.

My stay at the Mountain Resort in Koh Lipe was truly an unforgettable experience! Our room was an absolute dream, featuring postcard-perfect ocean views of Koh Lipe that I will surely never forget.
What really made this stay so special was the incredible staff. They were exceptionally good and attentive, treating us with a unique blend of respect and genuine affection that made us feel so welcome.
The resort's amenities are also fantastic and very convenient. There is a shuttle bus service that takes you up and down the hill, running every 15 minutes during the afternoons, which made getting around effortless. Down at the beach, they have incredibly comfortable hammocks that are absolutely perfect for relaxing by the sea.
I cannot recommend this resort enough. An absolutely wonderful experience!

Was a bit far from the main area, and the hotel provided only one shuttle per day.
We actually booked a room with a different design and got a completely different room. When we asked to see the other rooms, they showed us rooms with the same design as the first, instead of just saying they renovated the room. We didn’t get any compensation for this inconvenience.
Some of the buildings needed renovations. The whole floor around our room was super dirty and disgusting.
A lot of stairs in the hotel if you want to go down to the beach and restaurant area.
Also was pretty expensive and was not worth the price in my opinion.
Pros - very nice breakfast. Gorgeous beach area. Nice staff. Clean room.

This hotel is absolutely impeccable, from its facilities and environment to its cleanliness. It's also conveniently located near Sunrise Beach. You can walk to Sunrise Beach in just a couple of steps, and if you don't feel like swimming in the ocean, the hotel has a fantastic pool with very clean water and great floaties. The experience here was excellent, and breakfast was delicious. This hotel offers incredible value for money, and the decor is beautiful. Honestly, at just over 1300 a night, it's an absolute steal. I highly recommend booking this place.

We stayed in the Tree Pool Villa, and our kids absolutely loved it. They kept saying it felt like a real treehouse! The glass roof upstairs was such a nice surprise—we even spent some time looking at the stars before going to bed. They also had so much fun in the private pool. If they weren't there, they were swimming in the main pool or playing on the beach, which is only a short walk from the villa.
The beach is honestly beautiful. The water is so clear and such a gorgeous blue. One evening we walked to Sunset Beach to watch the sunset, and it wasn't far at all.
The resort was quiet and relaxing, the food was really good, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. Before we left, my husband and I looked at each other and said, ”We have to come back here again.

In terms of service, cleanliness, and amenities, this is your average Thai resort. The location, in my opinion, is fantastic—right at the very end of Pattaya Beach. There's always shade from a beautiful tree, and it's convenient for swimming and snorkeling. The only drawback is that it can sometimes be tough to climb the stairs since the hotel is located on a hill.
The price is definitely inflated, but I gather that's typical for the entire island; everything is more expensive than mainland Thailand. If I go back to Koh Lipe, I'll most likely choose this place again.

I really enjoyed our stay jt was low season so nice and quiet but still a good atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, we booked two but could have managed with one room with a 9 and 12 year old. Everything worked , the internet was decent. Gardens and greenery lovely spot. Breakfast was fairly standard for this type of accommodation. Nice fresh fruit eggs, bacon, pancakes , waffles and Asian options, eaten with a nice view of the sea. Location at end of beach but close to walking street. We tended to walk to North point and get a taxi scooter back for 50b. Food on island was good. Coffee from tugboat needs a mention. Island overall is beautiful and has a really nice vibe at present hopefully it doesn't get over developed. North point is a lovely area which still has it's natural beauty.

We were quite worried when heading to Koh Lipe after reading other reviews, but the price was incredibly attractive, and the accommodation was right on the beach, which was very important to us. In the end, we're so happy we chose this hotel. We didn't have air conditioning, but there were two fans that worked well and quietly. One fan was enough for us; we didn't even turn on the second one. On the other hand, we always had hot water with good pressure. There was a lovely clean fridge, a kettle, dishes, tea, and coffee. All the toiletries were provided. Everything was very clean! Good quality bed linen and towels. The staff did excellent cleaning upon request, including changing the sheets and towels. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bungalows are small but very clean and cozy. There were a few ants in the corner of the bathroom on the first day, but they disappeared after cleaning. I don't know who wrote the bad reviews. We were simply thrilled to stay here for 5 wonderful nights and days. The hotel also has a massage parlor. The women who give massages are true professionals. I have a bad back, and they helped me a lot with three one-hour massage sessions. The hotel is right on the beach; you wake up in the morning, and in a minute, you're in the sea. And how wonderful it is to sit by the sea under a tree in the shade... Pure bliss! We want to come back here next year with our friends.
