The scenery here is absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to see blue tears at night by the beach, which was such a magical experience. In the morning, you can also catch a stunning sunrise right from the resort — truly peaceful and breathtaking. The service was excellent — all the staff were friendly and always smiling, which made us feel very welcomed. The room was spacious and very clean, and the shower had strong water pressure, which we really appreciated. The resort is located on a cliff, so there are quite a number of stairs to climb. However, the staff will help carry your luggage all the way to your room, which made the arrival much easier. However, since the room is designed as a wooden bungalow, it gets very hot during midday. Even with the air conditioning on, the cool air doesn’t reach the bed area effectively, so the bed still feels warm. Turning on the fan actually makes it worse, as it blows the heat from the roof downwards, making the room feel even hotter. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great service and stunning views, but the room temperature during the day could definitely be improved.

Bulow Casa was an absolute gem and one of the best stays we have ever had. The beach was stunning — pristine, peaceful, and just steps away. It’s the kind of beach you never want to leave. The atmosphere of the hotel itself was wonderful. The surroundings are beautifully maintained and create a truly relaxing environment that makes you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. The food at the hotel was delicious and well-prepared, with a great variety that satisfied every craving. Dining here was genuinely a pleasure. The staff deserve a special mention — they were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Their warmth made a real difference to our experience. One standout feature that truly impressed us was the complimentary shuttle service around Koh Lipe. Being able to explore the island freely without any extra cost was a fantastic touch that showed how much the hotel cares about its guests’ experience. We would recommend Bulow Casa to anyone visiting Koh Lipe without hesitation. We will absolutely be back.

My stay at the Mountain Resort in Koh Lipe was truly an unforgettable experience! Our room was an absolute dream, featuring postcard-perfect ocean views of Koh Lipe that I will surely never forget. What really made this stay so special was the incredible staff. They were exceptionally good and attentive, treating us with a unique blend of respect and genuine affection that made us feel so welcome. The resort's amenities are also fantastic and very convenient. There is a shuttle bus service that takes you up and down the hill, running every 15 minutes during the afternoons, which made getting around effortless. Down at the beach, they have incredibly comfortable hammocks that are absolutely perfect for relaxing by the sea. I cannot recommend this resort enough. An absolutely wonderful experience!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights on a trip.com booking (standard queen room) and then extended directly with the hotel for 1 more night (deluxe queen room with city view). Overall the room was ok but the cost per night was high and I’m not 100% sure it is good value for money. The location is central (close to Bundhaya Pier and many restaurants on walking street) and the grocery shop under the hotel is great. For the trip booking, our room was on the third floor and immediately looked into the balcony of the hotel next door. We could not open our curtains without seeing our neighbor’s room right next to our bed. On a positive note the room was on the quiet side. For the last night we got moved down to the second floor for a larger room and city view (the view of the rooftop of the restaurant next door and the alleyway, it was loud at night). The room itself was fine if not a bit dated looking. The aircon worked great and the fridge was nice to have for groceries. Our booking also came with breakfast, you get to select items from the menu (main and drink). It was ok but we choose not to go back for other meals as there are many nice options for food around the hotel.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The resort is also conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and walking street, making it easy to explore Koh Lipe. Waking up to the beautiful beach and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. 🌊☀️ Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Koh Lipe. Our family had a wonderful stay at this resort! We stayed in the Tree Pool Villa, and it was absolutely perfect for our child. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by lush tropical greenery, which made the whole experience feel peaceful and relaxing. We loved all the amenities the resort has to offer. The complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to the walking street was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. We also treated ourselves to the spa, and it was one of the highlights of our stay—very relaxing and definitely worth it. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. Our favorite was definitely the noodle station! The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. One thing that really impressed us was the bathroom—it was almost as large as the bedroom and felt luxurious. The resort’s beachfront location was another major highlight. Our child had so much fun kayaking and snorkeling in the clear water. If you’re staying here, I also highly recommend renting a boat to visit and hike the island directly opposite the resort. The scenery is breathtaking, and it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss. Overall, we had an amazing family vacation and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing tropical getaway!

What truly made the stay special, though, was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and always smiling, which made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish place with great service.

I really enjoyed our stay jt was low season so nice and quiet but still a good atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, we booked two but could have managed with one room with a 9 and 12 year old. Everything worked , the internet was decent. Gardens and greenery lovely spot. Breakfast was fairly standard for this type of accommodation. Nice fresh fruit eggs, bacon, pancakes , waffles and Asian options, eaten with a nice view of the sea. Location at end of beach but close to walking street. We tended to walk to North point and get a taxi scooter back for 50b. Food on island was good. Coffee from tugboat needs a mention. Island overall is beautiful and has a really nice vibe at present hopefully it doesn't get over developed. North point is a lovely area which still has it's natural beauty.

We were quite worried when heading to Koh Lipe after reading other reviews, but the price was incredibly attractive, and the accommodation was right on the beach, which was very important to us. In the end, we're so happy we chose this hotel. We didn't have air conditioning, but there were two fans that worked well and quietly. One fan was enough for us; we didn't even turn on the second one. On the other hand, we always had hot water with good pressure. There was a lovely clean fridge, a kettle, dishes, tea, and coffee. All the toiletries were provided. Everything was very clean! Good quality bed linen and towels. The staff did excellent cleaning upon request, including changing the sheets and towels. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bungalows are small but very clean and cozy. There were a few ants in the corner of the bathroom on the first day, but they disappeared after cleaning. I don't know who wrote the bad reviews. We were simply thrilled to stay here for 5 wonderful nights and days. The hotel also has a massage parlor. The women who give massages are true professionals. I have a bad back, and they helped me a lot with three one-hour massage sessions. The hotel is right on the beach; you wake up in the morning, and in a minute, you're in the sea. And how wonderful it is to sit by the sea under a tree in the shade... Pure bliss! We want to come back here next year with our friends.

The hotel was chosen based on its relatively low price and location. The hotel has seen a lot in its time: a padlock on the front door, cracks in the floor, sockets that are extremely loose, unobtrusive service. However, enough of the negative. Quite good breakfasts, proximity to the sea, good attitude of the staff level out the negative. Try it!
