Overall, this hotel offered the best value for money. This time, I stayed in Villa 1 at the Serendipity Beach Resort Koh Lipe, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. It's definitely a high-value hidden gem on the island! The room's location is incredible, right next to the famous cliffside restaurant. You can walk straight down to the restaurant area, and opening the window reveals an expansive, endless sea view – clear and calming. It's perfect for capturing atmospheric, cinematic sea views with ease. The hotel's most delightful surprise was the private balcony breakfast service, offering both privacy and a touch of ceremony. Staff would promptly collect the menu at 4 PM the day before, and the exquisite and hearty breakfast would be delivered to the balcony at the agreed time the next morning. The food quality is outstanding, ingredients are fresh, and enjoying breakfast with the sea breeze truly immerses you in a relaxed island holiday mode. The hotel also has its own secluded private beach. The sand is fine and soft, and there are very few tourists, making it incredibly peaceful – you get to enjoy the quiet seaside scenery all to yourself. The overall design is a pristine, ecological mountain garden, with lush greenery and a tranquil environment. Strolling through the grounds in the morning feels like being in a natural coastal park – uncrowded, quiet, pleasant, and relaxing. It's especially great for flying drones. The room facilities are generally of high quality. Being adjacent to the Ten Moons Lipe Resort, the living experience is excellent. The only minor flaw was that the shower water pressure was a bit low, the water temperature was slightly cool, and due to the island's water treatment, the shower water was a little salty. However, with the hot island climate, slightly cooler water wasn't an issue at all and didn't affect the stay. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high."

"This hotel is just 200 meters from Pattaya Beach Pier, a bit quieter than The Ananya. Walking Street is also very close if you walk along the beach. The breakfast was decent, and the Thai milk tea was delicious. The service was good too; they helped us with our luggage and took us to the boat, which seems to be standard for island hotels – something Koh Lipe does better than Koh Samet. We went during the low season, so the prices were cheaper, and there were fewer people. The pool was practically empty. You have to pay to use the hotel's kayaks, whereas the one at The Plantation was free for two days, though the kayaks there weren't as good as Akira's. The room was large and quiet, and the 2-meter bed was very comfortable. I recommend this place."

"Let's start with the positives: the location and environment are truly excellent, no complaints there. But that's pretty much where it ends. For a hotel that costs 2000 per night, my biggest takeaway is this: it charges luxury hotel prices, but the service doesn't match up at all. The water situation is truly frustrating. I understand that the water quality on a small island isn't always great, and I even brought a filter showerhead. I can accept it turning yellow after two days. However, the bathroom water consistently smells strongly of sewage as soon as you turn it on, and it's not occasional – it's a constant issue. Even the water for washing up has that smell; you start questioning your life choices while showering. The room assignment also felt discriminatory. I had emailed more than a month in advance, and again two days before check-in, to link my booking with my friend's. Yet, they ended up giving us the two furthest rooms, literally at the very end of the corridor. One end room would be understandable, but deliberately giving us two end rooms? The bathroom floor is also very slippery, and there's a small step at the entrance, which is a safety hazard. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. As for the service, it's even more subtle. It's not that there aren't staff, but their presence feels off. We asked for an ice bucket several times and it never came. We waited so long for our food order that we wondered if it had been forgotten. At check-out, there were six staff members at the front desk, all busy with their own things, and we just stood there waiting, with no one asking if we needed help. We eventually had to ask ourselves, and only then did they print out a bill for payment on the spot. Regarding the WiFi, it's not non-existent, but it disconnected countless times over four days. After reporting it several times, initially, NO ONE replied! You wouldn't believe it, absolutely no one. Later, I called and got angry, and they sent a very mean female employee who asked, "Does it work now?" with an expression that said, "What can you do to me?" After I complained, the legendary "manager" provided a "VIP WiFi." What does that mean, they don't give good WiFi to begin with? Another overall impression is that their enthusiasm for "paid services" is significantly higher. I tried to book an island hopping tour via email in advance, but upon check-in, they said they couldn't arrange it and then immediately started recommending other dates. The return boat ticket was initially quoted at 2100. For convenience, we said we'd let them book it, but two days later, it became 2500. There was never any formal quotation, just messages typed in an app. We compared it to the walking street nearby, where it was about 2300. The price difference isn't even the main point; it's the uncomfortable experience. Replies to regular requests are extremely slow, but as soon as a paid item is involved, the response speed immediately increases. Overall, if you're just coming to take photos and enjoy the scenery, this place is fine. But if you're looking for a hotel vacation, especially since Koh Lipe itself isn't big and all beaches are public, this price is not worth it for a resort experience. The only thing I want to praise is the guy who's in charge of fruits and juices at breakfast. He has a great attitude and is very diligent. He keeps all the juice combinations timely and accurate, and even brings them to your table. It was one of the few genuinely attentive services we received during our stay."

It's safe for solo travelers, and I made some lovely new friends. However, it's not suitable for those who are sensitive to heat, as there is no air conditioning 🤍🤍🤍"

"Excellent location – secluded, quiet, peaceful, and free from those noisy boats. Beautiful private beach and great service! There's a free hourly shuttle to town from 4 PM to 7 PM. After that, it's 50 baht per person. On the downside: we had cockroaches due to gaps in the doors, and my wife was wary of snakes, but thankfully none made their way inside. The bed creaked, and the linen was quite basic for a hotel of this caliber. But! You'll definitely love it here! They also offer free snorkeling gear and kayaks."

"Summary: the hotel charged heavily for it, but didn't live up to its 5-star rating, rather a 3-star. Main reasons: Maintance not enough, everything seemed worn and in need of repair. Beds (round) were terrible, very hard and the round shape is useless for a tall person. Pillows were the worst. Pool wasn't kept clean and also not full, so not infinity , as intended and described. First few days the phone wasn't working, so didn't feel secure, in case of emergency. The style of the restaurant wasn't attractive in comparison with others on the island. Also missing spa/gym/massage offers, not in Thailand. No body lotion in the bathroom, not OK for a premium hotel. Wrong instruction for the safe. Positive: the staff, very friendly and helpful, but some seemed not trained enough for a 5-star hotel. Location and the beach was amazing. Breakfast and laundry service was good. Nice layout of the villa. Loved to have our own pool and secluded beach area."

"Service: The hotel offers pier transfers. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, life vests, fins, snorkels, and masks. Ambiance: Located right by the sea, dining offers direct ocean views. To the left is the 5-star diving shop, Diving Couple, and to the right is the hotel's massage parlor. The massage parlor is a two-story wooden cabin; getting a massage with the sea breeze is very comfortable and not hot. The prices are also cheaper than those on Walking Street. Next to that is the Wapi Hotel. Facilities: The rooms aren't very spacious, so a large suitcase might be a bit challenging to place. The facilities are a bit dated. We stayed in a garden view room (GV2), which was a stand-alone bungalow, but there were quite a few ants and mosquitoes. Every night before bed, I had to hunt for mosquitoes, though an electric mosquito swatter and mosquito repellent are provided. During our 9-day stay, we encountered one cockroach and one gecko in the bathroom, which I suspect came from a slightly broken light fixture. I'd suggest the hotel fix it. Cleanliness: Room cleaning is quite casual; they mainly just change towels and replenish bottled water. However, you can request housekeeping to change the bedding, and they will come and do so. Extra Notes: The hotel has two very cute dogs that will actively 'shake hands' and accompany you for walks along the beach in the evening. The hotel is also not far from 7-Eleven, about a 5-minute walk. However, the road in front of the hotel has potholes that collect water when it rains. The bedding is a tiny bit on the firm side. Breakfast is quite average, with little variation daily; it's enough to fill you up, but you can always buy food from 7-Eleven. Putting aside the facilities, insects, and room size, overall, it's still very good value for money."

"Pros: This is my second time staying here. I switched to a room with a bathtub this time. I mainly chose it for the modern decor, good service, and the fact that you can kayak and snorkel every day on Sunrise Beach. The noodles and pancakes for breakfast are also delicious. Cons: The room had a lingering renovation smell, and the tap water wasn't clean; the shower filter turned black after just one use. The whole room felt quite new, but the showerhead was old-fashioned."

"The guy in picture one will pick you up at the pier, and the guy in picture two is a resort staff member. The resort uses a password lock for its doors, and the interior decor is very popular with Chinese guests! It's about 160 per person. 1. Excellent privacy, far from the bustling pedestrian streets of the island. It's quiet with few people, creating a relaxed atmosphere. 2. Directly facing crystal-clear waters and a small beach. The public pool and lounge areas are very well maintained, and the service is attentive. 3. Overall, it's not crowded at all, making it comfortable whether you want to relax or go snorkeling. Right in front of the resort, there are 4-5 Nemo spots. It feels amazing to just see Nemo without spending money! Downsides: You can't rent motorbikes on the entire island; only sidecar taxis are available, costing 50T per person. The roads are bumpy and uneven, making it difficult to walk with luggage. It's recommended to take a taxi in and out. The road to the resort involves uphill and downhill sections. Aya is perfect for those who want a quiet, relaxing vacation and dislike crowds."

"The hotel's advantages are its location and good breakfast, complete with a coffee machine. However, the rooms are a bit tired and had a slight musty smell. You could leave the AC on when leaving the bungalow; I never turned mine off, and the musty smell wasn't noticeable afterward. The AC blows directly onto the bed, but there's a handy, tall drying rack. I used to hang my clothes on it and place it between the bed and the AC, so the airflow would hit the rack instead."

"I can't believe they wouldn't let me cancel my reservation for free, even with the hundred-year flood in Hat Yai. It was a complete waste of several nights' stay – such a rip-off! Everyone, be warned when booking: this hotel is a scam. Once you book, there's no canceling, not even for a natural disaster like a major earthquake! I've already filed complaints with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thai Consumers' Association! It's quite good-looking, but a bit ugly, yet still rather good-looking. Unfortunately, it's quite ugly for me, it's just too good-looking, it doesn't really convey the feeling of being ugly, so compared to being good-looking, it's a bit ugly. Overall, it's still good-looking, the only flaw being that it's a bit ugly, but that doesn't detract from its good looks."
