"It was okay. The sea view was truly beautiful, but the soundproofing in the room was terrible. The room was right above the restaurant, so every day there were crowds of people passing by, laughing, playing, and taking photos. It felt like sleeping on the street, it was so noisy. We even booked the most expensive room type, and it was surprisingly right on the main road, which is pretty outrageous. I don't really understand it. This was the worst value for money hotel of the trip."

"I was given room 888, which has direct sea views – an absolutely fantastic location! However, it's quite close to the hotel restaurant, and some people would chat loudly late into the night. There was no staff to stop them, even at a very late hour. At high tide, the sound of the waves was quite loud at night. At low tide, you can go beachcombing right away. Honestly, it's pretty good overall. The beachfront cabins lack a bit of privacy, but it's convenient for getting things back and forth. There were mosquitos by the sea."

"Great location, clean pool, and good room cleaning. The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed and it's impossible to adjust it so it doesn't. They didn't meet us at the pier, even though all hotels on Koh Lipe usually send staff to greet guests. I had to hoist my heavy suitcase onto my shoulders and drag it through the sand in the heat. As soon as I finally reached the hotel, before I could even straighten up from the weight, the manager immediately started trying to sell me transfer tickets. Not exactly a warm welcome. The hotel is worth its price, but don't expect anything special. And they really should meet their guests; we've been to Koh Lipe more than 10 times, and this was the first time we had to drag our luggage through the sand."

"One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed, and I’ve travelled extensively (40+ countries, 200+ hotels). The bungalow had large open gaps, so it was full of insects and mosquitoes — sleeping was very uncomfortable. No aircon, no TV, and the bathroom was unpleasant. Access inside involves steep, unsafe stairs, especially at night. Everything looked old, poorly maintained, and neglected. Service was just as bad — staff often unavailable, and when we ordered food it was poor quality and we were rushed to pay before even finishing. Overall, very disappointing. Definitely think twice before booking."

Our Tree Pool Villa was beautifully designed, spacious and very private, and the private pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a day in the sun. We also really enjoyed taking a sea kayak out to explore the small islands nearby — the water was incredibly clear and beautiful. The service and hospitality were excellent throughout our stay, with the staff always friendly, welcoming and happy to help."

My air-conditioned bungalow opened directly onto the beach; not luxurious, but very comfortable. The staff is friendly, especially at reception. The only downside is that it's Chinese tourist season, and they're very noisy, occasionally disturbing the peaceful atmosphere."

"This hotel is right on the beachfront with its own section of Sunrise Beach, complete with sun loungers. Breakfast is served by the sea – nothing fancy, but perfectly edible. There's no pool at the hotel. For the low price, I'd definitely come back here."

"Decor/Amenities: The room's decor and facilities were quite subpar. Frankly, it's not worth the price; I've stayed in hotels costing 300-400 RMB a night with much better interiors. Service: When we asked the front desk for two bottles of mineral water, they told us to buy them ourselves from the neighboring shop, stating that each room only receives two complimentary bottles per day. On the day of our check-out, I asked for one bottle of water to take with me on the boat, and to my surprise, the front desk informed me that since we were checking out, no water would be provided! Hygiene: We stayed for four days, and our room was not cleaned once. We only later discovered there was a 'please clean my room' sign that needed to be hung on the door when we left. The sign had no Chinese, and no one bothered to inform us about this policy. As a result, our room went uncleaned for four days, and the floor and bed were covered in sand! Major Complaint: The room had two pairs of disposable slippers. One evening, my girlfriend and I wore them to the beach, and they were swept away by the tide. Only at check-out were we informed we'd have to pay a 200 THB compensation fee. They even threatened that if we didn't pay, no one would pick us up to transfer us to the pier for our boat. In China, such items are typically included in the room rate. I understand that rules might differ abroad, but there should be a clear notice or a detailed price list for such charges! Paying over 1100 THB a night (with tax), there are countless hotels on Koh Lipe that are right by the sea or have direct beach access. Breakfast: The sliced meat served at breakfast tasted sour! Activities: We were told the complimentary kayak was leaking. Conclusion: Apart from its direct beach access, the hotel has no other redeeming qualities. There are countless other hotels and guesthouses on Koh Lipe with similar beach access. In short, it's definitely not worth the price!"
