Trenitalia Complete Guide: Tickets, Routes & Tips for Your Italy Rail Adventure
By Daisy
October 29, 2026
Imagine arriving in Rome in the morning and reaching Florence in time for lunch without worrying about airport transfers, baggage check-in or driving through unfamiliar streets. That is one of the biggest advantages of travelling around Italy by train.
For Singaporean travellers planning a European holiday, trains can make it easier to explore several Italian cities with a limited annual leave period. You can also avoid the hassle of driving and parking in historic city centres.
Let's see Trenitalia train types, popular routes, booking tips, and suggested itineraries to help you plan your Italy trip.
Italy's major tourist cities are well connected by rail, making train travel a practical option for first-time visitors. Instead of spending hours travelling between airport, you can often arrive directly in the city centre.
Several developments are shaping Italy's rail network including fleet upgrades, transport improvements associated with the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics and ongoing high-speed railway construction.
Here are the main points to know:
New-generation Frecciarossa trains: Trenitalia is renewing its high-speed fleet, with newer trains designed for improved efficiency and updated interiors.
Improved connections to mountain destinations: Train-and-bus services can connect major railway stations with destinations such as Cortina d'Ampezzo and parts of the Dolomites.
Ongoing high-speed railway upgrades: New infrastructure is being developed in several parts of Italy, although journey-time improvements depend on which sections are operational.
Convenient connections between major cities: Routes linking Rome, Florence, Bologna, Milan and Naples make it possible to explore several destinations without renting a car.
Service frequencies, train types and seasonal connections can change, so check the official timetable for your travel dates before finalising your itinerary.
Not every Trenitalia service is the same. Choosing the right train can help you balance travel time, comfort and cost.

Frecciarossa: The Flagship of Trenitalia
Frecciarossa means "red arrow" and refers to Trenitalia's flagship high-speed service. It is particularly useful when travelling between Italy's major tourist destinations.
Depending on the route and departure, Frecciarossa trains can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h in regular service. They offer seating, onboard facilities and several classes of travel.

Standard-style seating with additional comfort and selected extras
Travellers who want a little more comfort

Travellers looking for a luxury rail experience
Exact amenities vary by train and service. Check the details for your chosen departure if you want particular facilities, such as lounge access or onboard dining.
Frecciarossa trains generally offer Wi-Fi, power outlets and luggage storage. You do not normally need to check in your luggage or pay an airline-style baggage fee, but you should be able to carry and store your bags safely.
Regional Trains: Best for smaller towns and day trips
Regional trains are useful for destinations that are not directly served by high-speed trains. They are often more affordable and allow you to explore places beyond Italy's main tourist cities.
Consider regional train for trips to:
Pisa from Florence
Orvieto from Rome
Lucca from Florence
Smaller towns around Tuscany and Umbria
The villages of Cinque Terre, using the relevant regional services
Regional trains generally do not have assigned seats, so you may need to stand during busy periods.
💌Important ticket tip: Traditional paper regional tickets may need to be validated before boarding. Digital tickets follow their own validation rules, so read the instructions shown on your ticket or in the Trenitalia app.
Intercity and Overnight Trains
Intercity trains offer an alternative to high-speed services on selected routes. They can be useful for coastal destinations and longer journeys where a high-speed connection is unavailable or unnecessary.
Intercity Notte trains operate overnight on selected routes. Depending on the service, you may be able to book a seat, couchette or sleeping compartment.
An overnight train can help you cover a longer distance while saving daytime sightseeing hours. However, compare the total cost with a daytime train and hotel stay before deciding.

Travelling from Venice to the Dolomites
Venice can also be a starting point for trips to the Dolomites, but there is no direct railway station in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
You will need to combine rail travel with a bus or coach. Depending on your destination, you may travel through Venice Mestre, Belluno or another connecting point.

How to continue from Naples
Option 1: Visit Pompeii

Option 2: Stay in Sorrento
Sorrento is a convenient base for exploring the coast by public transport. You can use local rail services to reach the town and seasonal ferries or buses for onward journeys.
Option 3: Travel through Salerno
Salerno is another gateway to the Amalfi Coast. Depending on the season, ferries and buses can connect you with coastal towns such as Amalfi.
The Amalfi Coast does not have a direct railway serving its main towns, so remember to include the extra transfer in your travel plans.
4. Florence to Cinque Terre: The Scenic Coastal Rail Dream

Cinque Terre has special local train fares and park-card arrangements. Prices and inclusions can vary by season and ticket type.
If you plan to visit several villages in one day, compare the cost of individual journeys with the applicable Cinque Terre Treno MS Card. Check whether your selected pass includes the journeys and facilities you need before purchasing it.

The hotel is a few minutes from the train station, and it's very convenient to get to Rome's attractions by bus or metro. The breakfast was very rich and delicious, and they even had raw honeycomb! The fruit was fresh, and the room was large and very clean. The staff were polite and even called guests during their stay to check on them, which was very thoughtful. If we could, we'd love to stay a few more days. Highly recommended!
The room is spotless -sheets are being changed sometimes TWICE A DAY (!),I stayed at the deluxe room which had amazing Roman architectural elements such as extremely highly ceilings with “wavy” ceiling, big windows with antique vibes.
The room is modernly designed with great amenities.
I give the hotel extra points on using “Acqua di Parma” toiletries, it means a lot in my opinion when a luxury hotel use luxury toiletries.
The hotel staff is out of this world -very helpful, very kind and very welcoming. The reception staff is very patient and will go above and beyond in order to help the guest to have the best experience in Rome . Regarding the location -the hotel is 8 minutes walking from the from the colosseum, should I add more ?
It's close to the station and there's no problem with the bus stop. It's in a great location, the building has a nice atmosphere, and the room with high ceilings was cozy. The amenities are only the bare minimum, which is either trendy or sustainable, and the price seems a little high considering the tax you pay per night.
There aren't many options for breakfast, but the staff's service was excellent and I had a comfortable stay.
Hotel location is good and easy to walk around to see several of the attractions and get food. Only issue we had was the rooms had ants in the original room we were in. However the hotel did take care of it and apologized. If our room did not have the issue with the ants it would be 5 stars all.
This was the most affordable Indigo I've stayed at, located next to galleries and some Papal properties. Upon check-in, the hotel provided a map, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican. The room's mini-bar offered complimentary snacks, and breakfast was quite substantial. There's a flea market next to the hotel; I checked it out one evening. Nearby, there's also a family-run takeaway called Grano Street Food, and their lasagna is especially delicious.
Excellent location, beautiful and comfortable environment, two restaurants have their own characteristics, breakfast is rich and exquisite, the service is warm and courteous, especially the front desk staff actively help solve the difficulties, I am very grateful!
★★★★★ 5/5 – Excellent Stay at Hotel Roma Tor Vergata
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Roma Tor Vergata with a group of 3 friends. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Rome.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel facilities were also very good, clean, and well organized. It was a great place to relax after spending the day exploring Rome.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. Everything was handled smoothly, and the staff made us feel very welcome.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The combination of comfortable rooms, good facilities, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable. We would happily come back again on our next trip to Rome.
Highly recommended, especially for friends travelling together! 🇮🇹❤️
The room wasn't huge, but the high ceilings made it feel spacious, and the decor was very tasteful. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was excellent, very close to both the train station and the subway.
The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to get around. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast, though simple, was a nice touch as they proactively offered freshly brewed coffee. We stayed in a triple room; the double bed was very spacious, and while the single bed wasn't huge, it was perfectly acceptable for a 16-year-old. For three people including breakfast, the hotel offers decent value for money. There's a fantastic Filipino restaurant nearby that's definitely worth checking out!
After staying in several small hotels in Paris and Venice, it was a delight to finally check into a spacious hotel. The room and bathroom were quite large by Rome standards, and even with an extra bed, there was still plenty of comfortable space. The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was fantastic. There are many restaurants nearby that seem popular with locals. The train station, which is also a shopping center, is just a two-minute walk away if you head straight out. If you go the other way, you'll find a bustling district within five minutes. However, our driver-guide repeatedly warned us not to go towards the train station at night, and to be extremely careful of pickpockets even during the day. The only downside was a brief power outage on our last night, after which the water pressure was unstable for half an hour and the water came out a murky yellow.
This was our last stop on our Europe trip, and by far the most comfortable hotel we've stayed in during our three weeks. The room was spacious and bright, well-equipped, and the housekeeping service was warm and attentive. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options. The hotel lobby is bright and offers complimentary luggage storage. Next time I'm in Rome, this will definitely be my top choice! 👍
Had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Rome.
First off, the location was superb; we could walk to all the major attractions, and a taxi ride was usually under ten minutes, which was incredibly convenient.
The hotel's common areas and rooms were exquisitely designed. The room itself was very clean and well-equipped with amenities like a minibar, coffee machine, and wine accessories. We booked a family room, which even came with a lovely little courtyard – it was so quiet and comfortable.
Highly recommend this hotel!
Hotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house.
I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.
1. Excellent service, convenient location, generous breakfast, and great value for money – highly recommended!
2. New facilities, clean and hygienic, friendly staff, overall satisfied.
3. Newly renovated, stylish design, smart home features, a great stay experience, will definitely come again.
4. Spacious room with a great view, comfortable bedding, quiet and clean, a very comfortable stay.
Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, would have loved to stay longer. The room was excellent, location 10 minute walk from Stazione Termini. We could walk to various attractions within 30 minute walk, this was a bonus. We loved the outdoor set up including the pool. The room was available even though we arrived just before noon. Highly recommend the hotel.
My primary reason for choosing this hotel was its excellent location, conveniently situated between the airport and the city center, which made taxi rides both straightforward and reasonably priced.
Upon checking in, I was pleased to discover a wide array of recommended tours and activities, such as church musicals and golf cart excursions. This was incredibly helpful for someone like me who prefers not to meticulously plan every detail of their trip.
Lastly, I have to praise their laundry service. Besides the usual per-item pricing, they offer a 'family laundry package,' which I recall being around €15 per kilogram. As we visited during summer, small items like T-shirts and socks don't add much weight. I sent in 3 T-shirts and 5 pairs of socks, and the total cost was only about €12. Each item came back smelling wonderfully fresh, almost like new clothes. What a delight not to have a smelly suitcase!
The room was spacious and bright, with excellent amenities and incredibly soft and comfortable bedding. The staff were friendly and check-in was very quick. The surrounding streets were quiet and clean, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Rome!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. We booked a 4 people room, and it was very spacious. The air conditioning was quiet, and the safe box was large enough to fit a laptop. The location was excellent as well—less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby.
We arrived in the morning, and the hotel kindly stored our luggage free of charge. We could also refill our water bottles at the restaurant whenever we wanted. The breakfast was plentiful and offered a great variety of choices.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!
The bathroom was spacious, and the service was excellent; they even helped us split the king-size bed into two separate beds. The overall space was remarkably large for a European hotel, and it was very clean. The location was super convenient for getting around, and the air conditioning worked well – a big plus!
Fabulous boutique hotel. Room was spacious and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was amazing, rooftop bar area beautiful and tranquil. Great location to walk to most of the famous sites. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely recommend and I hope to return.
The location is very convenient, not far from Termini Station, and directly opposite the airport bus stop. The renovation also seems quite new, definitely not from 2010 as stated on their homepage. However, the showerhead is really inconvenient. Every time you turn on the water, it defaults to the large overhead shower. You have to manually pull a button to switch it, and even after switching, the overhead shower still drips cold water. The water pressure is also very low. I hope the hotel can look into maintenance. The service was excellent, and the staff were very enthusiastic. I encountered a Chinese-speaking staff member who was patient, meticulous, and made communication very smooth!
really kind reception and incredible location, so close to the middle of rome! was super comfortable even during the heat wave and great breakfast! enjoyed it a lot and felt safe as a young female solo traveller!
Hotel is very conveniently located one street away from Roma Termini. Even though check-in is at 4pm, they offer luggage storage for free. Check-in process was smooth and straightforward.
The room is spacious even for a single-bedder and toilet was very clean with shampoo, towels, & soap provided. * Note that dental kits are not provided.
The only minor advice is to bring earplugs as you are able to hear other occupants' movements along the hallway and vice versa.
The room was clean and spacious, with amenities like heating, soap, mini fridge, and hairdryer. Location was great, ~20-25 minutes to the Colosseum, a metro station right in front of the hotel, and multiple bus lines that takes us <5 mins walk to hotel from town. Not many restaurants nearby, which was the only downside to the hotel’s location.
Now onto the bad parts: the connecting room was only separated by a door, and we could hear every word of conversation and footstep, and it felt like we’re in the same room as them. This also resulted in us hearing the cleaner next door, disturbing our sleep in the morning when guests next door checked out.
Breakfast at hotel was very expensive too, at €18 per person.
Lastly, we’re unhappy with the service as upon checking out, reception staff asked for a 3% service tip but amount requested turned out to be near 7%.
The hotel is a 20-30 minute taxi ride from the airport and a few bus stops away from the nearest subway station. On my first night, I arrived late and wasn't sure how to take the bus from the subway station, so I ended up taking an Uber. It's actually very convenient; the bus stop is right outside the subway exit, no stairs needed. Different bus routes go to the hotel, some are just one stop away. Breakfast consists of bread, various spreads, and fruit. My room had a small balcony and was much larger than the rooms I stayed in Florence. I even ran into a Hainan Airlines crew staying at the same hotel. To get to the Colosseum, you can take bus routes 709, 070, or 700 to the subway station, then transfer to the M line which takes you directly to the Colosseum station.
Just an honest review here for future guests.
There was one iron (and ironing room) for the whole hotel, you had to get a key from reception to get into the room and you are limited to use it for 30 minutes. Also, the iron was old and not good. I ironed one shirt twice and it was still wrinkled. I was contemplating buying an iron to donate to the hotel for the poor future guests.
You cannot use the gym for free- it costs $10€ per session. (The gym looks great though)
The cleaners were cleaning the hallway with a loud machine at 10pm at night.
The shower is tiny, I could barely turn in there and wash my body.
The air conditioner is situated behind the curtains and doesn’t cool the room as a result.
Overall, not the best experience for what should be a good stay.
Positives: The room was spacious and quite nice.
There is a beautiful older Church (1915?) attached to the Hotel which can be accessed. The building and decorating was nice.
Some staff were really helpful with requests.
The room is about 5/10 minute walk from a convenient train station which goes into the city/tourist attractions.
There is a grocery store right next door.
The gardens are beautiful.
I rarely leave reviews, but this place was genuinely excellent. It felt just like a modern, stylish hotel back home, similar to Atour or All Seasons, with a fresh and youthful design. Breakfast was fantastic – 6 euros for kids and 12 for adults – and much better than what I paid double for in Barcelona. What really impressed me was having a washing machine. Even though there were only a couple and one was out of order, it's such a lifesaver for long trips, making it feel very much like a hotel in China. I was initially worried the room would be too small when I booked, as it was listed at 15 square meters, but it felt more like 20+. We easily fit two large suitcases and three people with plenty of space. I'm extremely satisfied; this was the cheapest yet most satisfying hotel of my entire European trip. I saw a 'money tree' downstairs and initially thought it was a Chinese-invested hotel, haha, but after a friend (Doubao) looked into it, apparently not. The location is unbeatable, with many attractions within walking distance. If I come back, I'd rebook this hotel without hesitation. A big shoutout to Trip.com too – I noticed the price dropped after booking, and they refunded me the difference without me having to rebook, which was a pleasant surprise.
The sink was very old and unstable, it looked like it could fall off at any moment. The bathroom had a constant sewage-like smell coming from the drain, which made the stay unpleasant..
We picked this hotel because of the amazing reviews and we were not disappointed. Every single member of staff has the utmost professionalism and warmth. It’s excellently sited for all the major attractions, excellent food and chopping oppportunities close by. This hotel is truly beautiful. I’ve never been in such a clean sparkling hotel. Special mention to Ivan who welcomed us and the beautiful lady who cleaned our rooms. You are a credit to your company. The breakfast was absolutely superb staff here are incredible
The hotel was very clean. The room was of a good size for a single traveller, and it was very quiet. Everyone working there was super friendly. Breakfast was good and could be better if there were some variety for different days. Location-wise, it took about 20 minutes on foot from the main train station. It's mostly an easy walk. It's also very close to Via Veneto and famous gelaterias such as come il Latte and La Romana are a short walk away. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
The front desk staff was enthusiastic and the check-in was efficient and quick. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was warm, and the bed was comfortable, which fully met the four-star/five-star standards.
The breakfast was rich in variety, with both Chinese and Western food, and the taste was good. The hotel has complete facilities, a gym and a swimming pool, which are very convenient for leisure and entertainment.
Overall, this was a very pleasant stay, which is very suitable for both family trips and business trips. I will choose here again next time!
Perfect hotel
Service: Excellent 💓
From check-in to our room, they explained all the hotel services. Luggage was delivered to the room. The suite service was also amazing, and we even received champagne. 🍾
Facilities: Perfect, the bed was very comfortable, and the water was powerful.
Amenities: Fantastic
Located opposite the US Consulate, it's safer and more convenient than other areas. It's a 5-minute walk to the subway, and there are many worthwhile museums and restaurants nearby. Staying in the Executive Suite, I was treated to a stunning corner terrace. Although the hotel is older, it's well-maintained and doesn't feel particularly dated. The Executive Suite is priced similarly to other standard hotel rooms, but the experience is far superior. Personally, I think it offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended.
The hotel has an excellent location. Walk 3-5 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. Also a very large and varied breakfast! The workers are very friendly! But to change the temperature of the air conditioner in the room, you need to call the reception every time 😳 Because there is no remote control for the air conditioner in the room!!! It's very uncomfortable... Also the bed was terrible. The bed is very small for two, the mattresses are clearly sagging and need replacing. The toilet smells terrible of sewage. But we were given a room with a wonderful small balcony, although it was not stated in the booking!😍
This hotel was an amazing experience. The staff were all lovely helpful and friendly. The essentials in the little shop next to the reception desk was a handy touch. There's a natural spring just a minute walk from the hotel which is helpful for topping up water bottles. As a female solo traveller I was worried about picking a safe location I always felt safe walking to and from the metro and around the local area even when it was dark. Everything you need is nearby and easy to get around from the hotel. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel atmosphere was calm which was good for me as I don't drink so didn't want a chaotic environment. I booked a room with a terrace I did feel slightly awkward when other people were using theirs too as it's not very private but I think that's more of a me problem it was still really nice to have that space to enjoy the hot weather when resting at the hotel. The air con was amazing and handy to have a smart TV with YouTube.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and very close to Termini Station. The staff are all incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast is really good, with a wide variety of options. The breakfast staff, in particular, were wonderful; they'd ask if you wanted coffee and their cappuccinos were delicious. When they saw us carrying our luggage upstairs for breakfast, they were incredibly helpful when we left, carrying our bags down to the elevator, pressing the button for us, and politely saying goodbye. Disposable slippers are provided. The only downsides are that the hotel facilities are a bit dated, and they don't seem to provide a full box of tissues.
This hotel is located in the heart of Rome, just a few hundred meters from the Colosseum, a mere 5-minute walk. Other attractions are also within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient. The breakfast area is small but offers a good variety. There's a rooftop pool and a terrace with great views. The only downsides are that the rooms are a bit small, and in the twin room, there aren't enough charging outlets; one of the beds couldn't be charged from a nearby outlet.
Traveling to Rome with my two kids, it was a bit challenging to find a hotel for two adults and one child that met our basic standards, so we chose the Mercure. Overall, we were very satisfied. The room was quite spacious and the service was very enthusiastic. The only drawback was that Trip.com didn't offer a breakfast-included option.
Great location in a very fun neighborhood with a lot of cafés, restaurants, and small shops. It is very easy to walk to major sights from here or by tram that is easily accessible in 5min walk from the hotel.
The rooms are nice and clean and good enough for a city hotel stay. There is a nice rooftop bar where you can enjoy a discount as a hotel guest on food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was a bit messy due to service, but it offered everything I needed.
I would definitely choose this hotel again for a city escape to Rome.
Choosing accommodation near a railway station can make early departures and luggage transfer easier. However, staying in the historic centre may be more convenient for sightseeing so compare both options before booking.

Practical Tips for Riding Trenitalia: What Singapore Travellers Need to Know
A little preparation can make travelling through Italy's busy railway stations much easier.
Use the Trenitalia app and keep your tickets accessible
Download the official app before your trip if you plan to use it. Depending on the service, you can access your booking, ticket details and travel information.
Luggage, seating and onboard etiquette
Luggage: You generally carry your own bags onto domestic trains. Keep them manageable and store them without blocking aisles or doors.
Seats: Frecciarossa and Intercity services generally have assigned seats. Check your carriage and seat number before settling in.
Food: Some services have onboard food and drinks, although the facilities vary by train.
Quiet areas: If your carriage has a designated quiet area, keep conversations and phone calls considerate.
Accessibility: Trenitalia offers passenger assistance services at participating stations. Arrange support in advance if you need step-free access or boarding assistance.
Other things to prepare before travelling
Power adapters: Italy uses several socket types, including Type L. Bring a suitable adapter for your Singapore plugs.
Time difference: Italy is generally six hours behind Singapore during daylight saving time and seven hours behind during standard time.
Drinking water: Tap water is generally safe to drink in Italy. Refill your bottle at suitable public drinking fountains.
Tipping: Tipping is not compulsory. Check your bill for any service charge or coperto, which is a cover charge that may apply at restaurants.
Entry requirements: Singapore passport holders can generally visit the Schengen Area for short stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period, subject to entry conditions. Check the latest official requirements before departure.
For Singaporean travellers, Trenitalia is a convenient way to explore Italy without spending too much of your holiday on airport transfers or driving between cities.
Use Frecciarossa for fast journeys between major destinations, regional trains for smaller towns and day trips, and Intercity services when they offer a suitable alternative.
Most importantly, plan your train journeys around the places you genuinely want to explore. Whether you are travelling from Rome to Florence, heading towards Venice or spending a few nights along the Cinque Terre Coast, Italy's railway network can make your holiday easier to organise.
Plan your Italy trip with Trip.com by comparing train tickets, flights, hotels, and attraction tickets before you go.
No. Trenitalia is Italy's national railway operator, while Italo is a separate private high-speed train operator. They have different booking systems, tickets and fare conditions.
How early should I book Trenitalia tickets?
For popular high-speed routes, booking as soon as suitable tickets become available can help you find lower fares. The booking window varies by route and timetable, so check the official website for your travel dates.
Is Trenitalia cheaper than flying in Italy?
It depends on the route, travel date and baggage requirements. High-speed trains can be especially convenient for journeys between city centres because you avoid airport transfers and check-in procedures.
Is a Eurail Pass worth it in Italy?
A Eurail Pass may be useful if you plan several journeys and value flexibility. For a short itinerary covering Rome, Florence and Venice, individual advance tickets can be cheaper. Compare the pass price and any reservation fees before deciding.
Can I take luggage on Trenitalia trains?
Yes. Passengers generally bring their luggage onboard and store it in the designated areas. Pack bags you can manage yourself and avoid blocking aisles or doorways.
Do I need to print my Trenitalia ticket?
For many services, a digital ticket or QR code is sufficient. Follow the instructions provided with your booking and keep your ticket accessible during the journey.
