How to Buy Harbin Metro Tickets?

1. QR Code Payments (Alipay/WeChat Pay)

Where to use: At station entrances.

How it works: You can use Alipay or WeChat Pay by scanning the QR code at metro gates. Simply open the respective app, scan the code on the gate, and pay directly through the app.

2. Ticket Machines

Where to find them: Ticket vending machines are available at all metro stations.

How it works: Simply choose your destination on the screen, select the number of tickets, and pay using cash or mobile payment options like Alipay or WeChat Pay. The machine will issue your ticket.

3. Ticket Counter

4. Stored Value Card (Yikatong)

1. Security Check

Before entering the metro, you’ll need to go through a security check. Similar to airports, there are security personnel and machines to inspect bags. All bags, backpacks, and large items are subject to screening.
