Snow Valley Hongbo Inn is a guesthouse-style accommodation located in Snow Valley, or Xuegu, in Wuchang, China. This is a place where locals actually live, and it can be visited in any season. However, in winter, it is famously known as a snow village. The inn is small, single-story, and shared with the owners. The service is excellent, and you can book snow activities directly from the accommodation.

📍Overview of the Trip: Harbin is absolutely stunning for a first visit.
🚩Travel Route: We focused on saving time, so the journey took 12 hours with 2 layovers, each about an hour. On the way there, the first layover was in Kunming, where navigating immigration was confusing, and asking staff in English resulted in responses in Chinese. The second layover was in Hebei. On the way back, there was one layover in Beijing, which involved a lot of running around. The ticket price was affordable, costing around 8,000 THB.
🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions: Snow Town / Snow Valley, Valgo Manor, Ice & Snow World, Harbin Pharmaceutical Museum, Music Gallery.
🚇Transportation: Getting around the city is easy with the subway and Didi.
📷 Photo Spots: There are plenty of spots to take pictures. Anywhere with snow looks beautiful.
🍜 Recommended Food: A variety of options with generous portions.
🏠 Accommodation Tips: Personally, I didn’t focus much on accommodations but prioritized convenience, staying near subway stations and tourist attractions.
💡Tips: Besides Alipay and WeChat, carry some cash. Be cautious of pickpockets, as they can be found anywhere in the world. Stay vigilant.
