"I visited Centenari in Valencia on Sunday 25 January 2026 with my family. This was meant to be a treat and a special breakfast experience at what is presented as a five-star hotel. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of that promise. We waited around 20 minutes before anyone took our order, despite the restaurant being quiet and clearly not busy. From the outset, the lack of urgency and attentiveness was noticeable and disappointing. The service throughout breakfast was poor. Communication was difficult, with staff frequently failing to understand us, which only added to the delays. The quality of the food and drinks did not match the pricing or the five-star positioning. The coffee and hot chocolate were not good, and overall the standard of what was served did not justify the cost, which was extremely high for what we received. This felt like a basic offering being sold at a premium price. What makes this more frustrating is that during this trip I was staying at Only YOU Hotel Valencia, where the level of customer service was consistently excellent. The contrast could not have been clearer. Quite frankly, the team at Centenari would benefit from visiting Only YOU to see what good service actually looks like in practice. The final disappointment was the bill, which arrived incorrect and then took a further 15 minutes to resolve, with no clear explanation provided. I am a seasoned traveller and return to Valencia frequently, but I will not return to this hotel. I share this feedback constructively and would welcome the hotel reaching out if they would like more detail. I am happy to help, but this experience was highly disappointing."

"We had booked the special romantic February offer which in the email about it said we would get a special dinner menu , we actually got the ordinary menu with a valentines sweet despite saying we were on the offer , we later stayed with the same offer at the parador in Javea and there we received a lovely special 4 course menu with paired wines as part of the romantic February offer .we were told ( incorrectly as it turns out ) that the offer details were set centrally after I e mailed to complain ."

"Good location. Modern apartment style room. Staff could have been a little friendlier and more proactive in providing information; very transactional at the reception desk and no information provided on the hotel, its facilities, map of the town etc. While modern, the room lacks some things - there is no where obvious to hang a coat. There is no where in the bathroom except the shower to hang the towels. But otherwise all good."
