The hotel was renovated recently. The lobby, bar, and restaurant on the first floor look brand new, a complete overhaul of the facade. However, the rooms and upper floors are a different story. As soon as the elevator doors open, you're greeted by old flooring. The hallways on the upper floors have hard flooring, not carpet, so you can hear people dragging luggage or even just walking from inside your room. The room itself is about 80% renovated; the floor is exactly the same as the hallway outside, and the wardrobe is old. The bed set and desk and chairs are new. The bathroom has been renovated, but the semi-open shower design has led to noticeable mold along the floor edges. The air conditioning vent points directly at the ceiling, and it's accumulated a lot of hair, which is quite unpleasant to look at. That covers the hygiene issues. Regarding service, I arrived at midnight, and the front desk was staffed by a young woman. Her attitude was fine, but she seemed unprofessional, more like someone running a guesthouse. She told me the hotel was fully booked for the next day, but when I checked on Ctrip, the rooms were actually cheaper than what I paid. The staff at check-out the next day seemed much more professional. Overall, don't expect too much from a European 4-star hotel.

A decent stay, but a few things could be improved. The bed was comfortable, which allowed for a good night's rest. However, the soundproofing is only average: you can easily hear outside noises and those from other rooms. The overall condition of the room could also be improved, particularly the bathroom where the grout could use a more thorough cleaning. Note that the hotel accepts pets, which can lead to noise disturbances, such as barking. Overall, an acceptable stay, but improvements would be welcome for greater comfort.

Very clean, comfortable bedding, and a wide selection of breakfast options. The minibar drinks are unlimited and refilled daily. The hotel has a great location, and there's free parking available on the white lines downstairs.

I really liked the stay, the only bad thing is that the room service is not 24 hours, but oh well, it works.
