"I loved my stay at this hotel. It’s very conveniently located at the heart of the old town with a nice old-style courtyard. My room was big with high ceiling, clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel is run by a young couple, who were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. They came to pick me up from the station and helped me book a private driver to go to Mianshan the next day. They spoke a bit of English and even with my bad Chinese we were able to communicate fine! Since it was low season, the boss even offered me to pick a bigger room than the one I had booked. He also gave me food as a gift when I left. Many thanks again for your kindness!!"

"I did a lot of research on Pingyao Ancient City and finally chose this guesthouse based on reviews. I'm so glad I did! The owner contacted me in advance, and communication was smooth. We took a taxi from the high-speed train station to the North Gate, and the owner came to pick us up, even helping with our luggage and backpacks – their hospitality was almost embarrassing! The inn is located on the main street, North Street. I was very satisfied with the guesthouse's environment; it looked exactly like the pictures. I really wanted to experience this kind of Jin merchant courtyard style, and after watching so many dramas, I finally got to stay in one. It was clean and hygienic. The best part was the owner's warm and thoughtful service. They shared detailed travel tips with us, and anything we needed was just a WeChat message away. Staying here also meant we could use the owner's membership card for a discount at the famous Hongwuji restaurant, which was both delicious and affordable – a dream collaboration! This was the most satisfying guesthouse stay in all my years of traveling, offering incredible value for money. They even gave us a special vinegar as a gift when we left. Perfect!"

"We stayed at the hotel for three days. Excellent hotel! It is location on a quiet street away from the noisy center of town. This is a plus. It is five minutes walk to west gate where you can find restaurants. about 15 minutes to the center of town. The brothers who run the place are wonderful. They will help you with anything and are available all day. They helped me book tickets, find taxi, drop to the train station etc. The property is very pretty and our room was spacious. The floor could have been cleaner. I would stay there again with no hesitation. My only suggestion is to offer breakfast."

"The hotel's service and cleanliness were absolutely top-notch! We were traveling with two young children, so we pushed the twin beds together. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel where they even cleaned *under* the beds – it was incredibly impressive! I genuinely recommend this place; the price is also very reasonable. The attention to detail is fantastic! Other areas are just as good, no need to even mention them. As soon as we got out of the car, the security guard helped us with our luggage, which was great service. The price was acceptable, the room was clean, and they even gave us a complimentary snack package. The gym and self-service laundry room on the fourth floor were also excellent."
