"This is my second time staying at Hotel Excelsior with my family tand it didn’t disappoint. The Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We were fortunate this time to be allocated the newly renovated triple room and it was nice and classy. There was some issue with the plumbing connected to the toilet bowl but a staff was sent over in less than half and hour to fix the issue. The hotel room was clean and one of the concierge staff named Hazz was extremely helpful and took his initiative to help google for information on places in Ipoh we asked him about. He also gave a number of good recommendations for alternative places to visit as well. Another thing I like about this hotel is, they usually have iced lemon tea at their lobby for guests to drink. This is a godsend when guests like me return to the hotel, given the sweltering heat in the afternoon. Nothing beats having a glass of iced lemon tea before heading up to your room. We will definitely return to Hotel Excelsior the next time we come to Ipoh."
