GGuest UserHotel location ok, but not very well signed. Appalling parking. Room allocated (Queen) ok but location appalling ( open curtains to look onto maintenance yard!)
Very poor hot water in shower/bathroom. Towels appalling, very old and very hard. Wouldn’t clean my car with them.
Restaurant food very good except no wine of any nature despite the menu offering a wide selection. So very poor management control.
Swimming pool okay except some scum on surface of water and the mosaic tiles in and around pool needed cleaning badly and missing and loose tiles needed replacing. Better house keeping needed.

The hotel itself is newly opened, and it shows in the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere after long days of exploring the island. We also appreciated the quality amenities provided, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. The pool area was also very well-maintained and provided the perfect place to unwind and relax.
The food served at the hotel was excellent, with delicious meals that we genuinely enjoyed throughout our stay. Every aspect of the experience reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction.
Another major advantage is the hotel’s location, as it is conveniently within walking distance to Cloud 9, making it very accessible for guests who want to explore one of Siargao’s most popular attractions.
Overall, we had an exceptionally pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siargao. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, beautiful scenery, excellent food, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to the island.

JJho_AnnOur family of four had an absolutely amazing time at Siargao Island Villas, and we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spacious and spotless rooms—perfect for a family with kids. The resort itself is huge and lush with greenery, which made the tropical heat much more bearable.
The facilities were a highlight: a beautiful pool right next to the restaurant, plus ping pong, billiards, and a gym for some fun family competition. We also loved the free paddle boards, and the beachfront location was a dream—the water was incredibly calm (almost no waves!), so our kids could swim safely without worry.
What truly set this stay apart was the owner’s generosity. We were lucky enough to be there during a party they hosted for all guests—it was overflowing with free food, drinks, music, and even a live DJ. Such a memorable night! We also made new friends among fellow travelers, which added to the warm, community vibe.
The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and the owners were genuinely kind and generous. My only regret? I had booked two different hotels in Siargao (just in case), but after experiencing this resort, I wish we had stayed here the entire time. Moving to another place felt like a downgrade!
If you’re visiting Siargao, do yourself a favor—book Siargao Island Villas and stay as long as you can. You won’t regret it!

JjoeydowsingThis hotel is, without question, home to the best views on the island. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by panoramic ocean vistas that never get old, whether you're relaxing by the pool, enjoying a cocktail at sunset, or simply sitting on your private terrace taking it all in.
One of the standout features is the guest-only pool, perfectly positioned beside the restaurant. The setting is spectacular, with uninterrupted views of the sea that make every meal feel special. The food is consistently good, the cocktails are expertly made, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
What truly sets this place apart, however, is the accommodation. With only eight rooms, the hotel feels intimate, exclusive, and wonderfully peaceful. Waking up each morning to the sight of the ocean directly in front of you and the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore is an experience that's hard to put into words. It's the kind of place where you instantly slow down and appreciate your surroundings.
The entire property is picturesque, tranquil, and incredibly well-positioned. For the quality of the experience, the stunning location, and the level of privacy it offers, it represents exceptional value for money. A true hidden gem and somewhere I would return to without hesitation.

The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed — comfortable beds, fresh linens, a strong Wi-Fi connection, and a spacious bathroom. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and toiletries.
One of the highlights of Amarah Hotel was the ambiance — modern yet homey, creating a perfect place to relax after a busy day. The restaurant served delicious food, with a good variety of dishes at reasonable prices. Breakfast was especially satisfying, with both local and international options available.
Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently situated near key spots, making it easy to explore the area. Transportation was accessible, and there were shops and cafes nearby.
Overall, I highly recommend Amarah Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and memorable stay. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

MMel.YPlace was okay for a family stay. It's not a private villa anymore since there's a restobar inside. I love the staff though, friendly and always smiling and accommodating. Place is also near establishments and you can just walk around. Cloud 9 is like less than 10 mins away.
There are dogs inside which I didn't like because they could just have pooped and peed anywhere. Not ideal for kids to play on the sand. There are also pearl sellers and as much as I feel bad, it just ruins your peace and quiet as they dont stop bothering you until you buy.
Overall still thinking of going back here in case there's another trip in place. :)

• room was very spacious
• beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable
• bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner
• airconditioning was superb
• room has a balcony (that we didn’t use)
Cons
• because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂
• location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road
• breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough.
All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.

TTomas MartimOverall a pleasant place to stay, not super central but always a short scooter drive away. Room was comfortable, although sound insulation was poor and there was morning construction going on from 8:00 which was very disruptive. The cafe / restaurant was very pleasant with jungle view and by the pool, yet had limited choices - adding fresh fruit juices (not concentrated ones) and appropriate coffee (not solvable one) would be appreciated. No gym available. Staff were pleasant but often slow to react or understand simple requests.
