My experience at Yinqi Tang Hotel was fantastic! The hotel’s ambiance is elegant and peaceful, the rooms are clean, tidy, well-equipped, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it’s very reassuring to stay here. A special thank you to Xiao Liu, the staff member who was warm, attentive, and patient throughout, always ready to answer questions and respond to needs promptly. The overall value is high; it’s peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle, and convenient to get around. I would definitely choose this place again when I come to Chengdu next time and highly recommend it! 😄

It's perfectly situated in the heart of the Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li commercial district, just a 5-minute walk to the shopping area, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. This room was an excellent choice! I was traveling solo with two kids during the May Day holiday and arrived at the hotel late at night. The front desk attendant proactively helped me swipe my card, operate the elevator, and even carried my luggage up to the room. Every day, they'd message me on WeChat with updates on Chengdu's weather and travel tips, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room has a small outdoor patio; it's not huge, but it's perfectly fine for two kids to play around for a bit. There's also a small round table where I could enjoy a late-night snack and browse my phone after the kids were asleep. Besides the king-sized bed, there's a converted small bed that was just right for my older daughter. The shower pressure was great, and everything was clean and hygienic. The location is absolutely superb: it's a five-minute walk to the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum, and right next door are the Chengdu Museum and the Sichuan Library. The metro station, with both Line 1 and 2, is directly across from the Science and Technology Museum in Tianfu Square. There are tons of dining options nearby. It's only about a ten-minute walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley. Just a two or three-minute walk down the street from the hotel, there's an alley with residential buildings that has breakfast, fruits, braised dishes, etc., for a quick bite (we left early every day, so we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel). The absolute best part is that right next to our 5th-floor room, there's a small gym! It's open 24 hours, which is perfect for fitness enthusiasts who want to get a quick workout in during their trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu!

The hotel's surroundings are excellent, right in the city center with super convenient transportation. The entrance to Line 1 is right next door, and Wenshuyuan Metro Station is only 800 meters away. Public transport is also easy, with a direct bus to Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street. The location is great for reaching various attractions, and taxis are readily available and cheap, effectively reducing travel costs. The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere, with many fresh flower decorations in the lobby. The staff are also very good. Highly recommended for both leisure and business trips!

About 700 meters from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance. The breakfast offered a good variety. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. As an InterContinental Gold member, I also received a welcome drink upon arrival. There's a McDonald's right in front of the hotel, but I was too tired to try it. If you need to catch the direct bus to the high-speed rail station, you'll need to go to the Zangwangyanwu parking lot to board.

The hotel is one of the few ones on Mount Emai.
I had booked one of the panorama rooms.
In the night I had to leave the window open as the room smelled as if somebody had smoked in there.
But I loved the floor heating. It was very useful to dry sweaty shoes.
Some of the panorama was great and lovely, but on the side an area with garbage could be seen. Hence an Instagram worthy booking, but only from the right angle.
The staff does not speak much English. There were no notes that described the breakfast which made it impossible to eat anything but bread and mellon as a vegetarian.
But despite all the downsides, I would still recommend the hotel, they offer tea and calligraphy. And staying there allows to be well rested when enjoying the sunrise over mount Emai.

We stayed at this hotel with our family for one night before our flight. We booked two rooms, and they were exactly the same — clean, well-organized, and comfortable, with cozy beds.
Each room had everything needed to get ready smoothly in the morning: a shower, kettle, ironing board, and hairdryer. It’s clearly set up with travelers in mind — simple, practical, and comfortable.
Breakfast is normally provided at the hotel, but since our flight was very early, they kindly prepared takeaway breakfast boxes for us, which was very thoughtful.
There was also a free airport shuttle that picked us up on time and brought us to the airport. The driver went above and beyond — he helped us figure out whether we needed Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 and made sure we got to the right place. He even stayed with us until he was certain we wouldn’t get lost.
Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, as well as many shops where you can buy souvenirs, local sweets, and even pick up another panda as a keepsake. There is also plenty of local street food nearby.
Right next to the hotel, a hot pot restaurant hosts the famous face-changing mask show twice a day. We attended the evening performance from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, which was a wonderful experience — enjoying a delicious meal while watching such a beautiful and iconic show before our departure.

When choosing a hotel on the highway to Mianyang, I saw that Mianyang Century Baden Hotel was ranked in the top three among Ctrip's high-end hotels in Mianyang. I placed an order with the idea of giving it a try. It was not far from the highway to Mianyang, about seven or eight kilometers away, but the road condition was not very good when entering the block where the hotel was located. It might be because of the road repair, but the hotel also has its own independent parking lot. Here I would like to especially praise the hotel's housekeeper reception Zhang Ling. Maybe she informed the arrival time in advance and came to the gate to receive us. From check-in to room check-in, this kind of service is really satisfactory. The first feeling of check-in is that the attitude of the service staff is very good and enthusiastic. They are not only respectful and sincere to the guests, but also ask them many times if they have any requirements, and prepare a variety of fruits and snacks for the guests when they check in. Although the hotel room facilities are a bit old, it does not affect the guests' feelings. The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and the bathroom is also separated from wet and dry. The hotel breakfast is rich in variety and taste. The local special snacks in Mianyang are prepared. The restaurant area is very large and the design is also beautiful. In short, the check-in experience of Mianyang Century Baden Hotel is very good!

GGuest UserOverall it's good, the room is relatively large, the service is very considerate, and they proactively provide children's toiletries and slippers when they see children checking in. During the May Day holiday, all hotel prices increased ridiculously. Relatively speaking, Yihua's price increase is not bad, but it is also expensive.
GGuest UserThe Vienna International Hotel, opened in 2024, boasts a very modern decor and highly intelligent facilities. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, my stay was excellent. My only minor gripe is a small step next to the elevator that makes it a bit inconvenient when carrying luggage. I hope this can be improved for future guests.
GGuest UserThe hotel is not far from Kuanzhai Alley and is within walking distance, though it might be a bit of a trek if you have very young children. It's conveniently located to all the major attractions. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The room was clean, and the service was good. There's also parking available. The only downside was that there was construction happening next door during our stay, but we were informed beforehand that it was a municipal project.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel on Trip.com late at night, just hoping for a place to crash. To my surprise, the front desk attendant was incredibly patient when I arrived. Seeing me with a big suitcase and looking exhausted, she proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor and even thoughtfully prepared hot tea. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning had a great variety and tasted delicious. What touched me most was at check-out; I was rushing for my train, and the front desk had already prepared my invoice and packed a souvenir for me, handling everything calmly and efficiently. This unexpectedly great experience completely wiped away my fatigue from the business trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu!

GGuest UserThe service was exceptional. The girls at the front desk were very helpful with answering our questions and helping us make sure we had a great visit with the Pandas. They also explained exactly where to go for our train departure. We were confused by Chengdudong having 4 plus drop off points. They also gave us extra water and adorable Panda headbands on our departure.
The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything was provided so we had a comfortable stay. They even had memory foam pillows.
They had lots of freshly ground coffee in the morning as well as an excellent buffet Breakfast.
The location was excellent. We walked to the Wenshu Monastery and to Kuanzhai Xiangzi alleys.
We are pleased we choose to stay at this hotel in Chengdu.

NNaichaxiaojingwei128Service: All the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially the owner who was very warm and welcoming 👍. The guesthouse even offers a pick-up and drop-off service to Emeishan Station.
Ambiance: The room was clean and tidy, and the decor had a lot of style – I loved it!
Breakfast: For a guesthouse, the breakfast here was quite plentiful and tasted great!
Overall: We were in a bit of a rush on this trip to Emeishan with our child, but finding this guesthouse made our experience truly wonderful! I'd definitely choose this place again if I come back.

GGuest UserThe first thing I would like to mention is the attentive and friendly staff: reception, at breakfast, room cleaning - everyone was kind, friendly and helpful in everything.
We got quick responses to our enquiries on Wechat - in the evening we asked about the use of appliances and a kind lady came and showed us how to use the washing machine and air conditioning.
The girl at reception (unfortunately I didn't remember the name, but it's a very nice girl with glasses) always answered any questions we had. Also, she even remembered our parcels from Taobao ordered to the hotel and when she saw us, she told us they had arrived. And then helped us unpack them. You could really feel the care in all the actions.
Next is a lovely big room with beautiful decor. The large round bed is cosy and soft and the bed linen is changed on request.
Good housekeeping. Every day we had towels changed and bottles of water replenished. In addition, we could always get extra water in the lobby. And noticing that we leave the room later, they did not disturb us early in the morning.
The room was quiet! Although there was one day when the tarmac was being laid at night outside with all the accompanying noise, but it really does not apply to the hotel.
The air conditioning and fridge worked perfectly. We were pleased with the presence of a mini washing machine (laundry detergent is available and replenished) and steamer in the room - such is not often met in hotels. The hairdryer had good sufficient power. Sockets are universal.
A bonus was a large mirror in the bathroom and a full-length mirror in the hall.
Also on one of the days we were unexpectedly brought a plate of fruit in the room, it was very nice!
The lift to the floors with hotel rooms is operated by guest cards, which guarantees more security.
To name things that could be improved, it is a bit dim lighting in the room. Also the tap in the bathroom sink was tight and seemed a little unreliable.
We had breakfast included - good, reasonably varied choice of food. The staff are friendly and keep a good eye on everything. They also remembered my preferences: I like to drink tea in the morning - and at one point they themselves came over and asked me if they could make me tea... so thoughtful!
There is also afternoon tea with desserts in the lobby.
Plus to the above, we like the location of the hotel - convenient, it's in an important central area with lots of shops, cafes, parks around, and metro stations close by.
The only thing is, if you're with multiple suitcases, consider that the path itself from the metro is nice but uneven and runs along knobbly tiles and crowded narrow sections.
Probably the best option with suitcases would be to take a taxi.
Our stay all week was excellent. This is a hotel we would love to return to. Thank you!

CCrayon TravelsOverall
This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back.
The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10.
🏨 Room — 10/10
Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners.
🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10
Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept.
👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10
The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine.
📍 Location — 9/10
A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised.
🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10
The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings.
🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10
Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day.
🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10
The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy.
The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu.
