GGuest UserI stayed in Chunxi Road for the first two days in Chengdu. The tall buildings around there were so lively that I was constantly woken up in the mornings. For my last day, I switched to the Landscape S Hotel near People's Park, and it was a great choice for under 300 yuan. Even though it's next to a small road, I finally didn't have to listen to car horns anymore.
The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They greeted me warmly, asked about my stay on WeChat, and inquired if there was anything that could be improved. When I couldn't figure out the screen window, or how to adjust the air conditioning, and needed a few extra bottles of water, housekeeping was there within minutes.
From the seventh floor, I could only see the treetops of People's Park, but it didn't affect my stay at all. The room was spacious enough, the central air conditioning kept it nice and warm, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plus a small single-tub washing machine (with Blue Moon laundry detergent and Dettol disinfectant provided). It was perfect for washing all the dirty clothes I'd accumulated over the past few days.
I thought the breakfast was really good! They had freshly made rice noodles and regular noodles, stir-fries, cold dishes, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, bread, lettuce, and fruit. It was comparable to the Atour S I stayed at for over 500 yuan the first two days. For 278 yuan, it was definitely worth it!
It's super close to People's Park, just a five-minute walk, and People's Park is such a comfortable place to be. The eateries downstairs mainly serve noodles, but if you walk just five minutes further, you'll find all sorts of 'Lao Ma Pig Trotter' restaurants. You won't have to worry about food or drinks here.
It's a happy 25-minute taxi ride to Shuangliu Airport.
