4-Star Hotels in Sichuan, China

The hotel is well placed near a lot of points of interest I would say the pictures of the hotel available on the website are rather flattering, of course this is to be expected, but I think the reality might feel a bit underwhelming if you place too much focus on the pictures I must say I was a bit disappointed, as the hotel was ranked by trip as number 15 most scenic hotels in Chengdu, and I think this is clearly overselling it ! I believe this hotel can definitely give satisfaction to a lot of travelers, it’s probably good value for money if you get it at a good price, but to place it number 15 of scenic hotels in Chengdu is in my opinion wrong, and I will put less trust in trip rankings going forward because of this I believe a good way for the hotel to improve would be to put a little bit more emphasis on cleanliness

I was very satisfied with my stay in the room, and I highly recommend it overall. It's right next to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, and there's a 24-hour convenience store and a pharmacy just across the street. At night, there are all sorts of street food vendors, so you don't even need to go to a night market. On the fourth floor, they have a Western-style restaurant which is great, and you can dine on the terrace with a fantastic view. The cleaning lady was very thorough, and the front desk service was excellent. I was completely satisfied. Check-out can be extended until 2-3 PM, and there's ice cream and afternoon tea. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu.

This room was an excellent choice! I was traveling solo with two kids during the May Day holiday and arrived at the hotel late at night. The front desk attendant proactively helped me swipe my card, operate the elevator, and even carried my luggage up to the room. Every day, they'd message me on WeChat with updates on Chengdu's weather and travel tips, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room has a small outdoor patio; it's not huge, but it's perfectly fine for two kids to play around for a bit. There's also a small round table where I could enjoy a late-night snack and browse my phone after the kids were asleep. Besides the king-sized bed, there's a converted small bed that was just right for my older daughter. The shower pressure was great, and everything was clean and hygienic. The location is absolutely superb: it's a five-minute walk to the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum, and right next door are the Chengdu Museum and the Sichuan Library. The metro station, with both Line 1 and 2, is directly across from the Science and Technology Museum in Tianfu Square. There are tons of dining options nearby. It's only about a ten-minute walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley. Just a two or three-minute walk down the street from the hotel, there's an alley with residential buildings that has breakfast, fruits, braised dishes, etc., for a quick bite (we left early every day, so we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel). The absolute best part is that right next to our 5th-floor room, there's a small gym! It's open 24 hours, which is perfect for fitness enthusiasts who want to get a quick workout in during their trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu!

I had a very pleasant stay at Ruicheng Celebrity Hotel in Qingyang District, Chengdu. The services given by hotel staff were exceptionally good and helpful which made my stay very comfortable. The location is extremely convenient as the Line 1 metro station is less than 100 meters away, making it very easy to get around Chengdu. There are also numerous food options and restaurants nearby, so finding good meals was effortless. The room itself was spacious and clean. While the furniture and fittings in the room are a little run down and would need to upgrade, overall room condition was still satisfactory considering the comfort and convenience offered. Overall, the hotel provides great value with its excellent location, helpful staff, and roomy accommodations.

The room was beautiful, exactly as expected. We received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the facilities and equipment were very responsive. There's a hammock outside where you can relax without any mosquito bites, which was a huge plus! The staff were excellent at solving problems and responded quickly to any issues, providing great service. The mall is less than 1km away, and there's a bistro downstairs. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby, and it's very close to the high-speed rail station, just a ten-minute walk. The hygiene was excellent; I personally like walking around barefoot, and the floors were spotless. Thanks to all the hotel staff, our trip to Leshan was fantastic! 👍 See you next time!

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by the front desk staff's radiant smile, which made me feel incredibly welcome. He was especially helpful in assisting me with my itinerary for the next few days and making sure my hotel bookings made sense, which was a huge help for me as a first-time solo traveler to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. The room had the typical Holiday Inn design and felt very cozy. The breakfast offered a good variety, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh vegetables and the piping hot wontons. What I loved most was its proximity to the Jiuzhaigou tourist center. After a tiring day of exploring, it was such a relief to be able to reach the hotel for a rest in no time. I really feel it offers exceptional value for money.

The hotel is one of the few ones on Mount Emai. I had booked one of the panorama rooms. In the night I had to leave the window open as the room smelled as if somebody had smoked in there. But I loved the floor heating. It was very useful to dry sweaty shoes. Some of the panorama was great and lovely, but on the side an area with garbage could be seen. Hence an Instagram worthy booking, but only from the right angle. The staff does not speak much English. There were no notes that described the breakfast which made it impossible to eat anything but bread and mellon as a vegetarian. But despite all the downsides, I would still recommend the hotel, they offer tea and calligraphy. And staying there allows to be well rested when enjoying the sunrise over mount Emai.

I randomly booked a hotel while passing through Guangyuan. No ostentatious decorations, just simple yet high-quality. The room lighting and ambiance are amazing! 💡 The soft light and shadow are incredibly soothing; every shot is photogenic. It exudes sophistication even without filters. 😴【Comfort Beyond Compare】 The room is incredibly spacious, not at all cramped. The mattress is so soft; I didn't want to get up. The soundproofing is superb! Completely shut out external noise, allowing me to sleep soundly until dawn. Completely soothing my travel fatigue. 🧼【Detail-Oriented Satisfaction】 The cleanliness is impeccable, with no blind spots. The bedding is clean and soft, embodying the high-end hotel experience. A safe and comfortable stay, I couldn't find a single fault. 📍【Super Convenient】 The hotel's location is superb. Convenient for both driving and other travel. Super easy access to shopping districts and attractions.

We stayed at this hotel with our family for one night before our flight. We booked two rooms, and they were exactly the same — clean, well-organized, and comfortable, with cozy beds. Each room had everything needed to get ready smoothly in the morning: a shower, kettle, ironing board, and hairdryer. It’s clearly set up with travelers in mind — simple, practical, and comfortable. Breakfast is normally provided at the hotel, but since our flight was very early, they kindly prepared takeaway breakfast boxes for us, which was very thoughtful. There was also a free airport shuttle that picked us up on time and brought us to the airport. The driver went above and beyond — he helped us figure out whether we needed Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 and made sure we got to the right place. He even stayed with us until he was certain we wouldn’t get lost. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, as well as many shops where you can buy souvenirs, local sweets, and even pick up another panda as a keepsake. There is also plenty of local street food nearby. Right next to the hotel, a hot pot restaurant hosts the famous face-changing mask show twice a day. We attended the evening performance from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, which was a wonderful experience — enjoying a delicious meal while watching such a beautiful and iconic show before our departure.

Exceptional service always shines through! I was heading to Tangjiahe to see wildlife, and Mianyang was the most convenient transfer point. I wanted a hotel near the station. I hadn't heard of Baden Hotel before, but seeing its 4.8 rating on Ctrip and the affordable price, I figured it wouldn't be too bad – so I booked it! From the station, it's about an 8-minute walk if you turn left and keep going. The Shenzhou Car Rental pickup point was also conveniently located along the way! Check-in was very efficient, and my pre-requested non-smoking and quiet room preferences were both met. The room even had a pillow menu and silent earplugs, which was a very thoughtful touch. The carpet in the guest corridor was new and clean; I asked and found out it had only been replaced a few months ago. Before dinner, the front desk recommended Yang Feichang Chinese Restaurant nearby. On my way out, I met a concierge staff member, who was dressed impeccably and behaved courteously, and helpfully gave me directions. Breakfast was abundant, and the bakery items were particularly outstanding – expertly made. They even had a few types of sourdough bread and I spotted honeycomb honey, which you usually only occasionally see at five-star hotels. Even more surprising, after I ordered rice noodles at the live cooking station, a restaurant employee proactively offered to bring it to my table. Their attitude was warm and friendly. This level of service far surpasses many five-star hotels in bigger cities! When checking out, I accidentally left a bag of fruit in the room. Just two minutes after leaving the hotel, I received a call from housekeeping, saying they would bring it down to me immediately. Warm, professional, efficient, and excellent value for money. The 4.8 rating is well-deserved! Highly recommended!
