We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were very kind, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.The free breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options to start the day. We also loved having free access to all the hotel facilities, which made our stay even more relaxing and fun.Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our family and friends!

The hotel design is great, with a nice layout, and a kids' pool that my friends liked. The service was also good. However, the breakfast was quite mediocre, not even meeting average standards. The moldy smell in the 1st-floor family room was unbearable, which is very detrimental to health. It's unacceptable that no measures were taken to address this.

My stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. Mixed stay — beautiful resort, but real issues The resort itself is lovely: clean, well-kept, with plenty of pools and nice facilities. I didn’t get to use the pools since I was under the weather, but they looked great. The spa was lovely too. My biggest problem was the WiFi. It’s aptly named “escapecompletely” — unfortunately that also meant I couldn’t reliably escape to my work. The connection dropped constantly, on and off all day. I work nights on American time, so stable internet was essential for me, and this was the main letdown of the stay. The internet trouble led to a frustrating night. Looking for a stable connection, I had to step out around 1 am — but the gate was closed and my key card had reset (since it rolled over to my next check-in day). I couldn’t get back to my room. I tried calling from outside but no one answered, so I had to walk all the way to the front desk carrying my laptop and everything. A real hassle. The staff were generally nice. The front desk team were lovely — one small note: I look Filipina but grew up mostly in the States and prefer English, and they kept addressing me in Tagalog. The gentleman at the restaurant was the standout — friendly and accommodating, and when he noticed I was getting bitten by mosquitoes in the waiting area, he offered me citronella. (I got quite a few bites and got a little anxious given the recent news about high dengue cases in Palawan.) The restaurant also doesn’t open until 10 am, which was late for my schedule. The one exception was the gym attendant, who was unpleasant and not accommodating. The room looked great at first, but a few things didn’t hold up: the hot shower in the bathtub didn’t work properly, one faucet was completely broken, and there was no comb — I had to ask for one. The gym was clean and pleasant, though several machines were out of order.

Nice place, nice hotel but need some more maintenance to look like a real 5 stars hotel . A bit to expensive for what you get

My husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary at Cauayan. We considered other resorts but we have definitely made the right choice. The island is just breathtaking! We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff and were escorted to our beautiful villa. My husband arranged a private tour of El Nido islands, where we ended up visiting about 7 spots with our guide even acting as our photographer (he took fantastic photos and videos too). In terms of food, the buffet breakfast offered a wide array of food selection. For lunch / dinner, we enjoyed all that we ordered (though some are really very spicy, so take note). The bar staff can concoct amazing drinks as per your mood & whim. I particularly enjoyed the spa and wished I booked a much longer massage. Our stay at the island became so much more meaningful when we witnessed hawksbill sea turtles being released to the ocean….As amazing as all these are, the best part of our stay in Cauayan is the friendly and customer focused staff. They prioritize the customers’ needs, always have a smile on their faces and have just made our stay in El Nido a memorable one. Thank you Cauayan and we will surely return for another amazing experience at your island!

The sunset villa is a bit old but generally acceptable. The deluxe sunset rooms are quite spacious, while the standard ones are very small. I recommend spending a few hundred more for a deluxe room. The natural villas at the back seem very new, with large glass windows, looking great and very close to the beach. The staff on the island are all polite and enthusiastic. Water sports equipment rentals are all free. The restaurants are not very good value for money, and there's a service charge. You can try one or two meals for the experience. We eat a lot, so an average meal was over 500 per person. For the same price in town, you could feast on lobster and mantis shrimp until you're full. The environment is excellent, with a private beach and calm waters perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Remember to apply sunscreen. Beach staff will guide you to see sea turtles and jackfish schools. You can ask them; it's free. If you see them, a small tip is appropriate. Be particularly aware of mosquitoes; there are many. The hotel provides mosquito repellent lotion, but an electric mosquito killer would probably be better.

We had an amazing stay at Lihim Resort and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The accommodation was excellent – very comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. The food at the restaurant was outstanding every time, fresh and delicious, and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. A special mention goes to Nicky, who was always incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel truly at home. The butlers were also amazing – professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, Lihim Resort exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the atmosphere. We would gladly come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

The hotel is beautiful and one of the few on the island with a stunning sunset view, which really makes the stay memorable. That said, the location can be quite limiting. The only nearby destination is the island directly across from the hotel; for most other attractions, you’ll need to travel via Coron town. In our case, getting to the town and the airport took about two hours each way, which was quite exhausting. There’s also no Grab or easy transport options on the island, so you have to rely on the hotel to arrange transfers. Unfortunately, this wasn’t always efficient, we noticed that different guests were sent to the airport at the same time in separate vans, instead of being grouped together, which could have helped reduce costs specially now that there will be fuel shortages in the Philippines. Overall, it’s a great place if you plan to stay within the resort or visit the nearest island, but less convenient if you want to explore more of Coron.

Amazing location with a stunning beach! The Beach Casita provided great privacy, and we loved walking through the small path to reach the beach. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. However, the booking trouble with the private flight was quite frustrating. Hope this can be improved in the future.
