5-Star Hotels in Souss-Massa, Morocco

An experience that exceeded expectations! If you're looking for a safe, worry-free, great-value seaside staycation just steps from the beach, I would recommend this place to everyone. 1. Service: Absolutely Fantastic I have to say the service at this hotel is truly impressive. All the staff are well-trained, almost everyone greets you with a warm, friendly smile and frequently asks if you need any help. You never feel neglected here. Any request you make is promptly attended to. In the restaurant, table-clearing is extremely efficient, and our table was always kept spotless. I was amazed by the quality and efficiency of their service — this is the best service I’ve experienced at an all-inclusive hotel in this price range. 2. Room: Clean and Comfortable The room is well-equipped, with air conditioning, a hairdryer, toiletries, a fridge (with complimentary soft drinks), and a safe. My room had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard, offering a lovely view. The mattress was very comfortable, and daily housekeeping was thorough and spotless. The only minor flaw was that the bath towels were a little worn, though they were clean. 3. Hotel Facilities: Great, with Plenty of Pools The hotel sits on an elevated platform with sweeping views overlooking the beach. There’s direct access to the beach, guarded by security staff, which made us feel very safe. There are so many pools! Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas are available, and the poolside bar serves drinks and cocktails. Activities like water polo are organized daily — something that will make water lovers very happy. 4. Dining: Very Rich Selection, Mostly Western Cuisine The hotel has three restaurants — an international restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and Azha, a Moroccan speciality restaurant. The bakery bar is almost open 24 hours, so even if you're jet-lagged and wake up at 11 pm, you won’t go hungry. Food preferences are, of course, personal. For us, although there weren’t many dishes tailored to an Asian palate, we were still able to find things we really enjoyed. A special highlight — we were lucky to book the Moroccan restaurant with help from the staff. There was live oud music, very distinctive starters (Moroccan soup, appetizers), a main course (tagine), desserts, and an amazing flaming coffee (which was seriously cool). The staff introduced each dish in detail, and we had a wonderful dining experience. The only small drawback was that the portions were a bit too generous for two Asian women; we felt sorry we had to leave some food behind because we were simply too full. 5. Activities: A Few Options, Though More Could Be Added The hotel’s activities mainly revolve around daytime pool parties and evening shows at the sports club. The dancers in the evening show were incredibly engaging, and they invited guests to dance at the end — my mum and I really loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to limited time, I couldn’t try out more activities, which was a bit of a shame. Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing staycation, perfect for travellers who value safety, comfort, and great value. Once again, heartfelt thanks to all the hotel staff — your warm smiles and friendliness made my mum and I feel so at home during our four wonderful days here. We truly felt the warmth and comfort of home.

Mixed experience: very beautiful establishment, impeccable service, excellent bedding. However, for a 5-star hotel, there are some things to mention: 1) The breakfast buffet was decent but not worthy of a 5-star hotel, especially the savory options (very limited selection of cold cuts and cheeses, even though Morocco has plenty of them). Similarly, Morocco is full of high-quality, seasonal products that were missing from the buffet (avocado, strawberries, etc.). 2) Loud music in the hallway outside my room from 7:00 am, which woke me up, and despite complaining to reception, nothing was done. 3) If you have the misfortune to complain about any issues, the managers quickly lose their smiles and become very nonchalant, which is unprofessional.

Ist class service. Latifah at the front desk was amazing, very helpful and professional. El mahdi the concierge guy was amazing, very friendly and helped us with necessary information. The hotel looks much better than advertised on most sites. Everything is new and just beautiful. Very beautiful aesthetic, ambience and clean environment. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated. Only downside was I couldn't connect YouTube or my phone smart view to the TV to watch my preferred shows. However, that's just my personal choice. WiFi was good without issues. The food was really tasty and had good varieties. Overall, i highly recommend as palais des roses gave me a very good experience. Staff are really amazing and friendly.

The staff members were so nice and helpful. Special thanks to Azedine, who was helping me to organize surf lessons or also trips to Marrakech or finding opportunity to participate on cooking lessons. The location of the hotel is perfect for people, who want to stay just at the hotel, as you are directly at the beach. Most of the guests were either families or older people. If you want to walk to Taghazout it is possible, but it takes around 45 minutes. The pools are not heated, which made them not so enjoyable as the water really gets cold. The breakfast has a lot of variety to offer, but it gets very crowded and at some point the food is not refilled. The rooms were spacious and clean. What I did not like so much is that the live music, which is offered mostly every night is playing either Spanish or Latin American Music. It doesn’t feel authentic to come to Morocco for this. I rather would like to listening to Moroccan Music there. But in general the hotel is nice with nice staff members.

The staff are all amazing really friendly. Hotel location is great close by to everything probably a 10 - 15 min walk to the beach. Place was clean but only issue I faced if I’m honest is the room I was given the lock chain was broken and door lock was broken I have provided pictures below. Was a bit scary knowing I couldn’t lock my door and did ask them to fix it but they didn’t. Other issue is this hotel is listed as a 5 star hotel but did not feel like it, other then having a fridge in the room there was no basic amenities like a kettle to have teas or coffees and no iron or ironing board. I would expect those at least for the price paid for the hotel. The breakfast was quite poor also very limited options. The reason why I’ve ranked this hotel high is the cleanliness and staff service but if they modernised and added more amenities this place would be amazing

Beautiful location. Perfect welcome. Lack of organization. (Review the welcome fruit basket, barely ripe fruit. Very good macaron). Very average breakfast buffet despite a wide selection. Expensive hotel for the service. The village of Taghazout is easily accessible on foot. A corner of paradise. I don't understand why they charge 15 dirhams to enter/exit the hotel parking lot!

This hotel is the most cost-effective among star-rated hotels. The breakfast is particularly rich. You can choose vegetables, fruit juices, and freshly squeezed juices. They are particularly delicious. The cuisine is rich and varied. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. It is very convenient to go to the beach. The completely private coast, pool bar, and seaside spa are all very French in style, romantic and elegant. The butler service is so thoughtful and meticulous. I am very happy to stay for two nights. The experience is particularly great.

It was my first time in this hotel room was amazing food was amazing waiting time was long because I came from other hotel at 12.30pm room was not ready so I was tired waiting till 3.00pm I order chicken tajeen was nice and burger meal was very nice food room was amazing but I don't recommend the view as the sea is not clearly visible like atlas amadil hotel has only thing was nice everything was brand new in the room that was standing out

This stay really made me draw a big question mark in my heart. It is not bad to live, but it is definitely not a comfortable holiday experience. The environment itself is good, the scenery is very good, and there are many strange but very distinctive African trees. The staff on the beach are also friendly and easy to get along with them. They also repeatedly emphasized that they did not belong to the hotel. The hotel's own service can be said to be general, the attitude is not bad, but it is not at all that people feel treated or taken care of. The most disappointing thing is eating. It's really hard to eat. No matter which restaurant, the dishes look good, but the taste in the mouth is completely in proportion to the appearance, some even doubt whether the seasoning is wrong. More speechless, there are several restaurants that are very difficult to make reservations. Every day, we receive very few guests. We stayed for five days without making an appointment to go to the restaurant, and finally gave up. The most outrageous one was that I finally made an appointment to a steakhouse, and when I arrived, I was told that we could not enter the restaurant because we had ”changed rooms”. This reason was really shocking and difficult to understand. The only thing that made me feel good about eating this thing was the oranges cut in the restaurant, which was really delicious. Overall, the price is really not expensive, but the experience stays at this price. There are advantages, and there are many places that are confusing and even speechless. If you have expectations for catering and service, you may be disappointed; if the picture is cheap and the scenery is seen, it is acceptable.

Had a good stay at the Sofitel Agadir. The service was excellent and the cleanliness was spot on. The location is lovely with beautiful views of the pool and the ocean. However, the hotel could do with a renovation to match its standing. It's also a shame that the rooms don't have balconies, especially with such a great view.
