I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that truly exceeded my expectations, making for one of the most enjoyable and stress-free travel experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the cleanliness was immediately apparent. The common areas were spotless, well-maintained, and had a fresh, inviting aroma. This attention to detail extended to my room, which was impeccably clean. The sheets were crisp, the bathroom sparkled, and there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. It's always a relief to know you're staying in a place that prioritizes hygiene, and this hotel clearly does. Beyond just cleanliness, the overall quality of the hotel was excellent. The decor was modern and tasteful, the furnishings were comfortable, and the amenities provided were thoughtful and well-chosen. Everything from the comfortable bed to the high-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, contributing to a truly comfortable stay. What truly set this hotel apart was how easy everything was. Check-in was a breeze, navigating the hotel was intuitive, and all the services I needed were readily accessible. There were no confusing signs, no hidden fees, and no unnecessary complications. It felt like the hotel was designed with guest convenience in mind, allowing me to relax and enjoy my trip without any added stress. Last but certainly not least, the receptionist deserves special mention. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the receptionist was incredibly helpful in answering my questions about local attractions and dining options. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile made a fantastic first impression and continued throughout my stay whenever I interacted with the front desk. It's rare to encounter such genuinely helpful and pleasant staff, and it truly enhanced my experience. In conclusion, this hotel is a gem. Super super great location, close to Lawang Sewu, a mall, and a bus station. A cathedral and an army museum are within walking distance (tho you can skip the museuk tbh). Staffs are great, very polite, helpful, and quick to offer solutions. Quite loyal with the food and they provide water in the corridors. With that price, ofc there will be some setbacks, amenities are minimal, no fridge, no hair dryer (you can ask them directly), but they do provide water bottle everyday. Overall a great service and a pleasant stay

Review Menginap di Amaris Hotel Sriwedari Solo (Bintang 2) 📅 14 – 15 April 2026 🛏 Smart Double (Free Upgrade ke Smart Hollywood) Nginep semalam di Amaris Sriwedari Solo ini overall cukup nyaman dan sesuai ekspektasi untuk hotel bintang 2, bahkan ada beberapa poin plus yang bikin betah. Pertama, soal kamar—dapet free upgrade ke tipe Smart Hollywood itu lumayan banget, jadi kasurnya lebih lega dan nyaman. AC juga dingin, jadi istirahat malam enak tanpa gangguan. Wifi juga ngebut, cocok buat yang tetap butuh kerja atau sekadar streaming santai. Untuk kamar mandi, air shower deras, ini poin penting sih karena nggak semua hotel bintang 2 bisa konsisten di sini. Jadi mandi terasa nyaman dan nggak ngeselin. Sarapan juga surprisingly enak. Variasinya mungkin nggak terlalu banyak, tapi rasanya oke dan cukup bikin kenyang buat mulai hari. Harga kamar menurutku masih affordable, apalagi dengan fasilitas yang didapat. Worth it lah untuk short stay atau perjalanan singkat di Solo. Tapi ada beberapa minus juga. TV masih standar, belum smart TV, jadi hiburannya terbatas. Terus kamar yang saya dapat di lantai 3 itu nggak ada view sama sekali, jadi ya cuma buat istirahat aja, nggak bisa menikmati pemandangan. Yang paling terasa minus adalah room service—nunggunya bisa sampai lebih dari 1 jam. Kalau lagi lapar banget, ini agak menyiksa sih. Jadi saran pribadi, mending siapin makanan dari luar atau pesan lebih awal. Kesimpulan: Hotel ini cocok buat yang cari penginapan nyaman, bersih, dan budget-friendly di Solo. Fasilitas dasar oke, tapi untuk urusan room service perlu banyak improvement.

Got a room in the corner. Not sure if it's because I booked a discounted room, but that shouldn't be an excuse. 1. The bathroom door was broken. 2. The shower head was also broken. Such a shame. But everything else was okay.

The hotel was in a good location and the staff were friendly and polite, but unfortunately the room(s) which were shown were not great. The layout of the rooms was fairly standard with semicomfy beds and a nice bathroom, even if a little dated. However the first room we saw had stains on the bedsheets and was full of dust, then we moved to another room which had nicer (not stained) bedsheets but the pillowcases were yellow and smelled a little funny. The hotel also had a bug problem with ants in the bedroom and a huge amount of mosquitos which congregated around the water dispensers in the corridors and snuck into the room when you opened the door. We also had a gecko one night in the bathroom and saw a mouse on the third floor. The floor was also seemingly uncleaned and there was a lot of dirt/dust, cobwebs in the bathroom, and general dirt around the corners of the room. Also there was centrally controlled music in the corridor which started at 6am and the doors made a non-stop beeping sound when left open which was seemingly often as we heard it a lot, meaning that we woke up early. The stay was passable at the hotel and the price was good but unfortunately we were never comfy in the room given that it could have used a thorough clean.

Booked this IXO Hotel as I like new hotels. A short easy walk from Semarang Poncol Train Station. I like their colorful decorations a lot. Good hot water to shower. The small face basin is not a concern, but they have a small shelf above it, under the mirror, to place the 2 toothpaste sets, and it is hard to brush my teeth. Hard to aim my mouth above the shelf and not to splash water onto the shelf. Great staff. Modern decoration. They have snacks and instant foods to sell at Lobby. Guests can get boiling water and cold water from the machine there. Very clean floor in room 105 but the shower room needs a brush with cleaning liquid. Old towels. Good bed linen. My room is a few steps from Reception so I didn’t use the elevator. Room has 2 bottles of water, 2 toothbrush sets and wall mounted shower gel bottle. Can borrow cups from Reception to make our own tea. They don’t give tea nor coffee in room. Only 2 outlets to charge the phones: bed head shelf and under the clothes hanging hook. They manage to have a tv and mirror in room in a very well appointed place. Good design to make use of every corner in a tiny room. Windows can be opened.

The check in and check out process is fast, the staff is friendly, the room is quite clean, the bathroom lights are dim.

You can park cars and motorcycles downstairs, and there's a supermarket not far away. The elevator is sensor-controlled, and the front desk lady was very friendly. There might be ants in the room, so if you're allergic to ants, you should check.

The hotel is directly to the beach, the kids love it here. The room is quite relieved.

Hotel in a cool dam location. The bedroom is clean, only when there the air conditioner is leaking and noisy. The bathroom even though it is impressed for a long time, it is still Ok. Still a choice if visiting the area again.
