OrilThis birthday stay was absolutely flawless! I was so surprised when they upgraded me to a sea view room – the scenery outside the window was breathtaking. The room had a wonderful celebratory touch with thoughtful arrangements of wine, cake, and decorations that made for fantastic photos. We had such a great time during our entire stay, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is definitely the place to choose – highly recommended!

Fay YangThe room layout was cozy, and the room service was quite good. The pool was beautiful, and the food was also nice. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. On a side note: avoid the trendy pasta restaurant Vila Romana (pictured in Figure 4). We're from Melbourne, and they thought we were tourists from China. An old man who spoke some Chinese kept trying to rip us off and was vague about wanting a tip. Figure 3, IMM Thai Cafe, was delicious; we ate there three times, haha.

Guest UserHaving stayed at several other hotels since, I can confidently say this one is still the best. The room has everything you need for living and cooking. There's a shop nearby. We happily cooked steaks almost every day. The view from the window is beautiful, and it's only on the 13th floor. The elevators are silent and super-fast. Remember, this is an apart-hotel, so cleaning isn't daily. Our room was cleaned once during our 5-night stay, which was generally sufficient. If you accumulate trash, there's a special room with bins on each floor. The soundproofing is decent. The reception quickly resolves any issues, and you can store your luggage there. We arrived late, and I was worried about being met and checked in, so I messaged the hotel in advance, but it turned out there were plenty of other late arrivals like us at 11 PM. The rooms provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion from the excellent Australian brand Kevin Murphy. On the 5th floor, there's an indoor and outdoor heated pool, a sauna, and a gym. The hotel's location is ideal. There's a tram stop right behind it, and the main shopping center is a 5-minute walk away. All in all, we were satisfied. We'd love to come back here.

Guest UserThe location and environment are decent, but the service definitely needs improvement. We called the front desk five times, and two of our requests were completely forgotten. One was for car retrieval; we waited downstairs for over ten minutes only to find out the front desk hadn't notified the valet. During that time, no one even bothered to ask if we needed assistance. The second was a request for a comb in the evening, which never arrived even by the time we checked out.
There were many staff members in the lobby, but everyone seemed quite apathetic. Perhaps because we are foreigners, they weren't interested in interacting with us. I'd advise anyone looking for a comfortable experience that Brisbane has plenty of better hotel options.

Guest UserThe lobby smells lovely, and the hotel is very clean. However, the facilities are a bit dated. It's very close to Story Bridge, making its location a real asset. It's suitable for a 2-night stay, but not ideal for an extended visit. Also, the soundproofing in each room is quite poor; I could hear the foreigners next door having a meeting at 6:30 AM (they're certainly hardworking and ambitious, I'll give them that...).

Xiaomi2323Every time I visit the Gold Coast, I stay at the Marriott, and the breakfast is always great.
However, the caps on the shampoo and other toiletries can be easily opened, which raises some safety concerns.
After 6 PM, there are no staff or services at the pool, and it's not lit. For children with UV allergies who wish to swim in the evening, it's not possible. December is summer in Australia, so it gets dark late. I hope the hotel considers extending the pool's closing time, especially since guests are here for a holiday. Thank you.

I specifically booked a twin sea-view room because I didn't want an apartment-style stay. Ctrip indicated floors 3-18, and we ended up on the sixth floor. I wasn't happy with the room; it was too low, the sea view was obstructed, and the lighting was poor. When I asked the front desk to change floors, their responses were inconsistent. First, they said higher floors would cost extra. Then, they mentioned a 20+ floor room with a sea view and twin beds that wouldn't incur an extra charge (but then changed their story when we expressed excitement). Finally, they offered a cooking-friendly room type, which they said still had twin beds and was much larger, for an additional $150/night, totaling $453 for three nights. We decided to go for it, since we'd already come all this way, but we were shocked when we saw the room – it was clearly a king-size bed! Does a sofa count as a bed? After checking out, I realized I'd left my electric toothbrush on the bathroom counter. I contacted the hotel for three to five days, but they kept saying they hadn't found it. Where could it have gone?
The hotel's view and cleanliness were good. Anything requested from the front desk was delivered promptly. However, if rooms are available, why does the hotel charge extra for guests who want to change floors when the platform advertises all floors at the same price? And why was the room type different from what the front desk described? It was not twin beds! The front desk training needs to be improved. If higher floors command a higher price, then the platform should not advertise different floors at the same price! This is deceiving customers.

Anonymous UserThis hotel boasts a fantastic location, right downstairs from the night market. Their beef noodles are a real highlight, providing comfort for Chinese palates. The hotel's convenient location also means it's just a 10-minute walk to the cruise terminal and very close to the waterfront promenade, which is great for a stroll. The hotel's own bar is super chill, with live music in the evenings – perfect for a drink and a chat.

Guest UserThe king room was well lit and clean. Housekeeping refilled clean towels and kept the room clean every day we were there. The gym, pool and sauna were our favourite part of the stay. Well equipped with quality gear and maintained. Staff genuinely lovely and provided great service. Only thing was the limited breakfast options, unfortunately the bread slices I had weren’t fresh. The coffee quality in the breakfast buffet was average and lukewarm. I’d opt for a barista coffee from the cafe lobby if you’re a coffee lover. Besides breakfast, the stay was wonderful. My partner and I enjoyed our 4-night stay and would recommend it to F&F staying in Brisbane.
