OrilThis birthday stay was absolutely flawless! I was so surprised when they upgraded me to a sea view room â the scenery outside the window was breathtaking. The room had a wonderful celebratory touch with thoughtful arrangements of wine, cake, and decorations that made for fantastic photos. We had such a great time during our entire stay, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is definitely the place to choose â highly recommended!

Fay YangThe room layout was cozy, and the room service was quite good. The pool was beautiful, and the food was also nice. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. On a side note: avoid the trendy pasta restaurant Vila Romana (pictured in Figure 4). We're from Melbourne, and they thought we were tourists from China. An old man who spoke some Chinese kept trying to rip us off and was vague about wanting a tip. Figure 3, IMM Thai Cafe, was delicious; we ate there three times, haha.

Anonymous UserMeriton is known for its clean facilities and modern interiors, and this location lived up to that reputation. Both the facilities and the interior felt luxurious. Having the Cyprus tram station right outside was incredibly convenient. My only minor complaints are that it's about a 10-minute walk to the main street and also about 10 minutes to Coles or Woolworths supermarkets. đ The small quick mart on the first floor of the hotel is quite expensive. Also, the dishwasher in the room doesn't dry dishes; I had to leave the door open overnight to air-dry them. đĄ
The reception staff were friendly. Even for a four-night stay, we only got two large towels, and one of them had a stain, which was unpleasant, but they did provide a new one.
The fridge kept things very cold, and the air conditioning felt clean!
There were plenty of cooking utensils, so we cooked all our meals for four days!
However, please replace the frying pan with the peeling non-stick coating. đ
There are four elevators, and they're super fast, reaching the 20th floor in just 10 seconds! I would 100% stay here again! đ«¶

The lobby smells lovely, and the hotel is very clean. However, the facilities are a bit dated. It's very close to Story Bridge, making its location a real asset. It's suitable for a 2-night stay, but not ideal for an extended visit. Also, the soundproofing in each room is quite poor; I could hear the foreigners next door having a meeting at 6:30 AM (they're certainly hardworking and ambitious, I'll give them that...).

Xiaomi2323Every time I visit the Gold Coast, I stay at the Marriott, and the breakfast is always great.
However, the caps on the shampoo and other toiletries can be easily opened, which raises some safety concerns.
After 6 PM, there are no staff or services at the pool, and it's not lit. For children with UV allergies who wish to swim in the evening, it's not possible. December is summer in Australia, so it gets dark late. I hope the hotel considers extending the pool's closing time, especially since guests are here for a holiday. Thank you.

I specifically booked a twin sea-view room because I didn't want an apartment-style stay. Ctrip indicated floors 3-18, and we ended up on the sixth floor. I wasn't happy with the room; it was too low, the sea view was obstructed, and the lighting was poor. When I asked the front desk to change floors, their responses were inconsistent. First, they said higher floors would cost extra. Then, they mentioned a 20+ floor room with a sea view and twin beds that wouldn't incur an extra charge (but then changed their story when we expressed excitement). Finally, they offered a cooking-friendly room type, which they said still had twin beds and was much larger, for an additional $150/night, totaling $453 for three nights. We decided to go for it, since we'd already come all this way, but we were shocked when we saw the room â it was clearly a king-size bed! Does a sofa count as a bed? After checking out, I realized I'd left my electric toothbrush on the bathroom counter. I contacted the hotel for three to five days, but they kept saying they hadn't found it. Where could it have gone?
The hotel's view and cleanliness were good. Anything requested from the front desk was delivered promptly. However, if rooms are available, why does the hotel charge extra for guests who want to change floors when the platform advertises all floors at the same price? And why was the room type different from what the front desk described? It was not twin beds! The front desk training needs to be improved. If higher floors command a higher price, then the platform should not advertise different floors at the same price! This is deceiving customers.

RunfeishenghuoThe rooms aren't as new as the ones in Railay, but the suite's terrace offers a great view. The pool is decent too, and the location is convenient. The front desk staff are friendly and can speak Chinese. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, making it easy to find food, drinks, and entertainment anytime, anywhere.

Guest UserOriginally booked a twin double room for me, my wife and our granddaughter as I was working in Brisbane and we wanted a change of scenery for my wife and granddaughter. Unfortunately my granddaughter became ill so my wife and granddaughter stayed at home. When I checked in I advised the hotel that only I would be staying for the two nights. Thinking Id help out the hotel room availability I said Id be happy to downsize, the receptionist asked if Id be ok in an Accessible Room which I accepted. I awoke at 2am thinking it was daytime as the room was lit up. Looked at the time and saw it was 2am then realised there was a large gap (30-40mm)under the door and the corridor lights were illuminating the room. After a bad nightâs sleep I complained to reception who sent up a maintenance person who advised the door had to be like this to clear the sloping floor to the bathroom for wheelchair access. Poor design not an excuse. I asked if I could have my original room and was told Iâd be charged for an upgrade. Told them Iâd done them the favour originally so reception said theyd chat to management and get back to me. I was working late shifts and heard nothing back so had to try to sleep in the room again, packing pillows against the door base but light still made it in. There was also stains on the carpet, curtains also let street light in and when doors were closed in other rooms they clanged shut reminding me of a visit to Alcatraz! Little sleep for the second night. I feel sorry for anyone sleeping in that room in the future

YEThe breakfast is good. The swimming pool is suitable for children. The location of the hotel is more convenient to find by car. We checked in after dark. The parking lot is free. Many parking spaces are right in front of the check-in point. Very convenient
