OrilThis birthday stay was absolutely flawless! I was so surprised when they upgraded me to a sea view room â the scenery outside the window was breathtaking. The room had a wonderful celebratory touch with thoughtful arrangements of wine, cake, and decorations that made for fantastic photos. We had such a great time during our entire stay, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is definitely the place to choose â highly recommended!

Anonymous UserMeriton is known for its clean facilities and modern interiors, and this location lived up to that reputation. Both the facilities and the interior felt luxurious. Having the Cyprus tram station right outside was incredibly convenient. My only minor complaints are that it's about a 10-minute walk to the main street and also about 10 minutes to Coles or Woolworths supermarkets. đ The small quick mart on the first floor of the hotel is quite expensive. Also, the dishwasher in the room doesn't dry dishes; I had to leave the door open overnight to air-dry them. đĄ
The reception staff were friendly. Even for a four-night stay, we only got two large towels, and one of them had a stain, which was unpleasant, but they did provide a new one.
The fridge kept things very cold, and the air conditioning felt clean!
There were plenty of cooking utensils, so we cooked all our meals for four days!
However, please replace the frying pan with the peeling non-stick coating. đ
There are four elevators, and they're super fast, reaching the 20th floor in just 10 seconds! I would 100% stay here again! đ«¶

Guest UserThis place is considered very good for an overseas destination, highly recommended. The surrounding environment is excellent, but there aren't many dining options.

The hotel's front desk service was quite good; they even gave a small gift once they knew I was a Marriott Platinum member. The room was a bit damp, but clean enough. It's great for kids; we spent three days enjoying the hotel's beach and pool and didn't even want to go out. While the amenities can't compare to a water park, they were still very good. We'll definitely go back. The hotel breakfast was decent, just a bit crowded, so you had to queue.

I specifically booked a twin sea-view room because I didn't want an apartment-style stay. Ctrip indicated floors 3-18, and we ended up on the sixth floor. I wasn't happy with the room; it was too low, the sea view was obstructed, and the lighting was poor. When I asked the front desk to change floors, their responses were inconsistent. First, they said higher floors would cost extra. Then, they mentioned a 20+ floor room with a sea view and twin beds that wouldn't incur an extra charge (but then changed their story when we expressed excitement). Finally, they offered a cooking-friendly room type, which they said still had twin beds and was much larger, for an additional $150/night, totaling $453 for three nights. We decided to go for it, since we'd already come all this way, but we were shocked when we saw the room â it was clearly a king-size bed! Does a sofa count as a bed? After checking out, I realized I'd left my electric toothbrush on the bathroom counter. I contacted the hotel for three to five days, but they kept saying they hadn't found it. Where could it have gone?
The hotel's view and cleanliness were good. Anything requested from the front desk was delivered promptly. However, if rooms are available, why does the hotel charge extra for guests who want to change floors when the platform advertises all floors at the same price? And why was the room type different from what the front desk described? It was not twin beds! The front desk training needs to be improved. If higher floors command a higher price, then the platform should not advertise different floors at the same price! This is deceiving customers.

RunfeishenghuoThe rooms aren't as new as the ones in Railay, but the suite's terrace offers a great view. The pool is decent too, and the location is convenient. The front desk staff are friendly and can speak Chinese. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, making it easy to find food, drinks, and entertainment anytime, anywhere.

Guest UserThe king room was well lit and clean. Housekeeping refilled clean towels and kept the room clean every day we were there. The gym, pool and sauna were our favourite part of the stay. Well equipped with quality gear and maintained. Staff genuinely lovely and provided great service. Only thing was the limited breakfast options, unfortunately the bread slices I had werenât fresh. The coffee quality in the breakfast buffet was average and lukewarm. Iâd opt for a barista coffee from the cafe lobby if youâre a coffee lover. Besides breakfast, the stay was wonderful. My partner and I enjoyed our 4-night stay and would recommend it to F&F staying in Brisbane.

Let me start by saying â this place looks like a five-star resort, and honestly, itâs almost pulling it off. From the front desk to the landscaping, the vibes are immaculate. Reception staff? Absolute pros. Warm, efficient, and welcoming.
The hotel itself? Gorgeous. The grounds? Pristine. It cannot go unsaid that the place is surely lovely!
But then⊠housekeeping entered the chat.
I donât know if they were short-staffed or just spiritually opposed to consistency, but cleaning was less âmeticulous upkeepâ and more âvague suggestion.â Every day was a fresh new episode of What Will They Forget This Time? Towels? Maybe. Trash bins? Who knows. Soap? Thatâs a Tuesday-only luxury, apparently.
One day the bed was made, but the sinks and mirrors clearly hadnât been touched. Another day, they left their cleaning supplies in the bathroomâso at least some effort was made, I guess? The shower floor remained perpetually sandy, a charming little ecosystem of ants set up camp in our kitchenette, and the grand finale: we returned from a day exploring the stunning Daintree to find our room door left wide open. Thanks, housekeeping. Truly unforgettable.
By day five I wasnât even mad, I was invested. Was this performance art? Were we part of a social experiment? Is this how minimalism starts?
So yeah, stunning hotel, flawless front desk, but housekeeping? Shithouse!
Blinds are filthy in the rooms and no sheer curtains for day time privacy.
Would I return? Maybe. But Iâm bringing my own towels. And a mop.
