OrilThis birthday stay was absolutely flawless! I was so surprised when they upgraded me to a sea view room – the scenery outside the window was breathtaking. The room had a wonderful celebratory touch with thoughtful arrangements of wine, cake, and decorations that made for fantastic photos. We had such a great time during our entire stay, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is definitely the place to choose – highly recommended!

Anonymous UserMeriton is known for its clean facilities and modern interiors, and this location lived up to that reputation. Both the facilities and the interior felt luxurious. Having the Cyprus tram station right outside was incredibly convenient. My only minor complaints are that it's about a 10-minute walk to the main street and also about 10 minutes to Coles or Woolworths supermarkets. 😭 The small quick mart on the first floor of the hotel is quite expensive. Also, the dishwasher in the room doesn't dry dishes; I had to leave the door open overnight to air-dry them. 😡
The reception staff were friendly. Even for a four-night stay, we only got two large towels, and one of them had a stain, which was unpleasant, but they did provide a new one.
The fridge kept things very cold, and the air conditioning felt clean!
There were plenty of cooking utensils, so we cooked all our meals for four days!
However, please replace the frying pan with the peeling non-stick coating. 😭
There are four elevators, and they're super fast, reaching the 20th floor in just 10 seconds! I would 100% stay here again! 🫶

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall stay at Brisbane Marriott
We recently stayed at the Brisbane Marriott for my daughters 21st and were genuinely impressed by how lovely the hotel is and how amazing the staff were. The warm, welcoming service started from the moment we arrived at valet parking and continued throughout our stay. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and did their best to assist us.
The rooms themselves were nice and comfortable, although we did notice some wear and tear, particularly with the bathroom and bedroom cabinetry which was scratched and broken. The beds also felt quite small for two adults and made sleeping a little squishy.
Our biggest concern, however, was the air-conditioning. When we first walked into the room it was set at 18 degrees, which we thought would be perfect—especially with four girls getting ready, expecting a cool room so our makeup wouldn’t melt. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. The room felt like a hot box from the start. The staff were fantastic and came to check and reset the system twice, but by the time we returned at 1am, it was still extremely hot. It was uncomfortable enough that one of our group decided to go home because she couldn’t sleep in the heat. At that hour, there was also no one at the front desk to seek further assistance from.
We did mention this at checkout, as we genuinely expected that a well-known, reputable hotel like the Marriott would not have such an issue with air-conditioning. It was disappointing, as everything else—from the service to the overall atmosphere—was lovely.
Massive shout out to the male staff member who collected our bags both at arrival and departure (sorry wasn’t able to recall you name) you are a great asset to the hotel!!
With improvement to the room cooling, this would have been a fantastic stay. The staff truly are the highlight of the hotel.

The hotel's front desk service was quite good; they even gave a small gift once they knew I was a Marriott Platinum member. The room was a bit damp, but clean enough. It's great for kids; we spent three days enjoying the hotel's beach and pool and didn't even want to go out. While the amenities can't compare to a water park, they were still very good. We'll definitely go back. The hotel breakfast was decent, just a bit crowded, so you had to queue.

The location is pretty good, and the hotel facilities are decent. There are some flying insects on the open-air balcony, but that's unavoidable by the sea. The pool is a bit basic, and you need to bring your own towel. The front desk staff were very friendly, but the restaurant staff were a bit lacking. I was treated like an outsider just for taking a couple of photos after sitting down, which wasn't very welcoming. Good thing I had my room key! 😂 I reported it to the front desk and they promptly addressed it.
It's very convenient to watch the sunrise right from the room.

Anonymous UserThis hotel boasts a fantastic location, right downstairs from the night market. Their beef noodles are a real highlight, providing comfort for Chinese palates. The hotel's convenient location also means it's just a 10-minute walk to the cruise terminal and very close to the waterfront promenade, which is great for a stroll. The hotel's own bar is super chill, with live music in the evenings – perfect for a drink and a chat.

Guest UserThe king room was well lit and clean. Housekeeping refilled clean towels and kept the room clean every day we were there. The gym, pool and sauna were our favourite part of the stay. Well equipped with quality gear and maintained. Staff genuinely lovely and provided great service. Only thing was the limited breakfast options, unfortunately the bread slices I had weren’t fresh. The coffee quality in the breakfast buffet was average and lukewarm. I’d opt for a barista coffee from the cafe lobby if you’re a coffee lover. Besides breakfast, the stay was wonderful. My partner and I enjoyed our 4-night stay and would recommend it to F&F staying in Brisbane.

YEThe breakfast is good. The swimming pool is suitable for children. The location of the hotel is more convenient to find by car. We checked in after dark. The parking lot is free. Many parking spaces are right in front of the check-in point. Very convenient
